Batch Details - Change Log is not implemented

Hi,
I realised that the Change Log in Batch Details is not being implemented.
Has this been planned for implementation?
I understand the batch functionality in SAP is not as strong as the Sales Quotation or Sales Order. However, my customer required to trace who has changed the batches.
Does anyone knows if the Change Log will be planned. Thanks

You can activate the ODS manually... In future to avoid this.. please make following changes in ODS setting..
1. Set quality status to 'OK' automatically
2. Activate ODS object data automatically
3. Update data targets from ODS object automatically ( If any)

The change log for BOMs has been functional since the implementation of B1 in September of 2007. Recently, it appears that the change log is not long keeping track of changes. Has anyone ever seen this before, or have any ideas on how fix this issue?

The maintenance even has been stop by SAP support. The PL upgrade is also unavailable. Maybe you could contact partner around your country ask them about the latest PL of B1 2004B.
if you escalate it to them, I am not sure they will answer.
You need to upgrade to the new version i.e. 2005B. The maintenance is still available.
Anyway, try this query :

Display change log for Notes in Appraisal

Thats a tricky part.
Use Note as " Note can no longer be changed" in template configuration.
You get User/Date/Time of note.
I guess that helps you.
Also, Iguess it will work if you have sap delievered standard UI.
else you need to read the values manually and adjust layout.

Change logs not working for manual update modify/delete statements.

                 My requirement is to display the change logs for a few custom z tables.The log data changes is selected in technical settings of the table.When any changes are made to the table using sm30 the changes are logged.
My requirement also displays an alv grid which allows the users to edit/insert/delete   entries in the table.
In this case the change logs are not getting recorded(ie whenever the user manually updates or inserts a row into the table the change docs are not getting stored).
My code works like this,
Whenever the user chooses a custom table and selects the display change log button i transter the control of my abap program to the standard rsvtprot program(sap std. pgm to display change logs).
sample code:

    clear:r_seltab.

Is there any way by which i can extend the change logs functionality for the changes made using the alv grid?

In TM you should open the transaction /SCMTMS/ZONE. Here you select the zone you would like to modify and you execute the changes you would like to make.

User changes in tab strip ui element are not recorded in context change log

Hi All,
We are using a tab strip ui element in webdynpro component. But user changes inside tab strip ui element are not getting recorded to the context change log. I have an input field on the same view besides tab strip ui element. User changes to this input field are getting recorded to the context change log.
Is there any restriction on context change log usage with tab strip ui element?
Could you please suggest If there is any way to record changes inside tab strip ui element.

I think there are some limitations exists, context change logs are not complete when you do value help , i am not sure about tab strip.

I have a 3.x object on an upgraded BW System to 7.1 . It looks like to (still) delete both requests (change log + PSA) while executing the Change log deletion request. My point is: Inside the Process chain may I leave just the Change log request's deletion process and remove the PSA deleteion step or do I have to stay and exute both steps aniway?

I have executed the demo existing in my system and demo shows that the whatever changes being done by the users in NWBC can be captured using this context change logs.
We are looking to implement this for our project, but before that we have few queries.
1. Where do these context logs gets stored if i enable them?
2. Our TM system is being integrated with GRC system, so if the change logs gets recorded in change tables (CDHDR and CDPOS), GRC can read them.
3. Does this show any performance issues for our system if enabled?

I don't really understand how this is related to NWBC (which is a client) but I will try to answer your question: the context change log functionality works only with the Web Dynpro ABAP runtime and the logs are not persisted, they exist only during the runtime eg. lifetime of the Web Dynpro ABAP component. The context change log has to be enabled for each Web Dynpro ABAP component so in case you are using standard SAP functionality, you would have to modify standard SAP applications and that is something you don't want to do. There are existing frameworks which utilize the context change log functionality and build a wrapper on top of it, PLM Web UI is one. If you want to discuss the context change log functionality further, create a new discussion thread in the Web Dynpro ABAP space.
The change document tables you refer to (CDHDR and CDPOS) are populated only if the application implements the change documents API, not all applications do. Instead you should probably look at table logging if the requirement is to log all changes. See SAP note 139418 for details. Consider however the space requirements and negative performance impact of table logging.

Please try the standard change document function.
1.Set the change doucment flag in type definition.
2.The change object would be tracked.
3.The changes stored in CDHDR and CDPOS.

Error while Changing log level in Agentry 6.0.44.1

I am trying to change the log level from the Agentry Administration client, but i am getting the below error message.
And it is showing any option to change the log levels for users. How can I change log level for users also.

This is fixed or planned fixed in 6.0.46 Agentry Server (supposed to be available anytime soon in the Service Marketplace - it was submitted already to the SMP team). The fix was in SMP 2.3 and SMP 3.0 but it was ported back to the Agentry 6.0.X release. If you have no access to the Agentry 6.0.X patches this means that your SAP License is preventing you from downloading it. You may need to contact the SAP CIC (customer interaction center) group.
Or you can do the manual setup for a workaround for now.
SAP KBA article: 2048202 - AgentryGUI does not allow to change log settings - Not all setttings were successfully changed.

Change logs missing for OB52

Hi Experts
We have a peculiar problem where change logs are missing for some of the transactions made through OB52 for modifying FI posting periods.
I vefired that change logging has been correctly activated for table T001B. Though change logs are displayed for most of the transactions through SCU3 or in table DBTABLOG, logs will be missing for some records.
Can you please let us know what could be the possible scenarios where change logs are not recorded for OB52 or table T001B even though logging has been activated.

How to find out if anything is changed in configuration
Ex: Ob22: changed t.date type from posting date to transaltion date

Once you are in OB22, click on Utilities - Change Log. Note that this is going to take a very long time to come with the result, as it depends on the time line you are looking for.
Assign Points accordingly.

Change log of Plant Address

Hello,
One of the plants had an address change. The change log does not list those changes. Is there any way I can figure out as to when the address of the plant was changed and who changed it. Any help will be appreciated.

When plant address is changed transport request will be created ,based on the transport request you can findout the changes
