Batch job - 'Zero' value is not loading in Target Syatem

Hello All,
Could any one please clarify me whether '0' value will be replaced in the Destination, if destination is having some number.
Ex Target Planning Area is having some number (ex: 20) for particular CVC and Source Planning Area is having Zero value for the same CVC.
Now after the Planning Area copy job runs, whether Target CVC will be loaded with Zero value or will it have same old value(ex: 20) ??

Hi, i have created some site collection columns with managed metdata and taxonomy term sets. I have then created some site content types of those site columns. Some of them function properly and some don't.
When i have created or uploaded a document to the document library i start to "tag" the document by first choosing witch conent type i want too use, but when it comes to save the document it renders an error message(its not the full content
of the message):
"exception message, failed to get value, could not load managed metadata, invalid field name"
I have created some other site content types before and with the same site columns and they do not generate a error message. Is there a solution for my dilemma?

PO,MIGO zero value item, not picking in MIRO

HI All,
In my Vendor Return Po one line item(Sample good) is created with Zero value.
GR and the entry is zero value. There is no issue at all.
But upon MIRO, it is automatically not seen in the line item
Can any one tell is it standard....or we cab bring the zero value line item in MIRO also.

Why are you mixing return and free item ?
Return is used to return material from your godown to vendor..
Free item is used to purchase material from vendor for free of cost...
If you maintain the free indicator in PO, then you are saying to system, that you purchase the item for free of cost..
You can see the Invoice Tab - Invoice Receipt option get unticked when you tick the free item in PO line item..
It will never appear in MIRO...

Why am getting this ME083 error in BATCH JOB, where as ONLINE not getting?

Hi Experts,
Am creating Purchse Requisation by using BAPI ---> BAPI_PR_CREATE.
If I run ONLINE, Purchse Requisations are creating in EBAN table, with out any erorr messages, fine.
If the same prog. is scheduled as BATCH JOB in production, the Purchse Requisations are creating, fine, but, there is a ERROR MESSAGE in JOB LOG, saying that " ENTER PLANT " of M essage ID& # is "ME 083 "
So, let me know that,
1 - Why am not getting this error message, If I run it ONLINE?
2 - Even though there r error message in JOB LOG (as I mentione din the above), Why the Purc. requisations are creating?
3 - How to track that, from Where this error is coming in BATCH JOB, How to debug the BATCH JOB, after its scheduling?
4 - How to fix it?

It is not uncommon for informational/warning messages to appear when a BAPI is run in batch.
Such messages do not prevent the completion of a job, but may provide information about the status of processing.
When you run the job online the message may just flash briefly on the bottom of the screen, and you might not even notice it.
I get similar messages when I run other BAPIs, where the message is logged but the process continues to run.
To address the question of the message itself, if you look at the code underlying the BAPI, for example, include L2105I01, which contains the methods, you can see the place where the message is issued.
The message is issued if field PR_TYPE in the header structure is initial.
This is fairly easy to find just by examining the source behind the BAPI and the methods that it uses.
You can navigate to include L2105I01 just by clicking on Method process in BAPI_PR_CREATE, just as you can with any other navigable object in ABAP.
You should see this in BAPI_PR_CREATE around line 108.
CALL METHOD l_ref_bapi->process( ).
Double click on process.
Method renumbering is then called by Method process if the actyp = hin (a constant meaning add/create which is set in BAPI_PR_CREATE), and if ITEM_INTVL (Item number interval) is not initial.
Double click on Method renumbering.
Method renumbering then checks if field PR_TYPE is initial, and if it is, then the message 083 that you are getting will be issued. You will also see that the message is issued as a warning only, which is why the document is still created.
You can drill down through the code by double clicking, as usual with navigation.
I found this initially by clicking method set_header, which brought up the include with the method code. I then searched for 083, which is the message id. I then backtracked to find out what the path to Method renumbering was.
Always do a little digging in the source, the message has to come from somewhere. If the first search does not get a hit, try the next one until you exhaust the possibilities. I chose set_header, since it appeared to be specific to the function of the BAPI, and something like that will usually be the best place to start. In this case, it took me right to it.

i am using filelayout to load the date from csv file to staging tables.csv file contains data like emplid,firstname,lastname,compnaycode,joining date etc..
the problem what i am facing is all fields are loadin except that joining date.i dont know why its not loading.plz help me in this

Date is always a problem in application engine. You need to convert date to PeopleSoft date format using %DateOut and %DateIn functions etc. Try using those functions when you are loading date values from CSV file to peoplesoft tables.

How to make zero value deliveries not relevant for billing

Hi,
I have a requirement to not print invoices that have zero as their net value. Right now there is a sales order line category that can have amount on it sometimes and sometimes not. When the amount is 0, is there a way make it not due for billing?
In Item Categories Maintenace I set the Billing Relevant to H:
"H: Delivery-related billing - no zero quantities
You can use this category to avoid items with a value of zero being included in the billing document."
Testing it still includes the items with 0 value for this item category in VF04 - billing due list and creates an invoice for it.

we will have the copy control routines in the copy control requirements between delivery and billing, check out the transaction VOFM , for example you can have a new copy control routine no 901 in VOFM. via which SAP creates a new program LV60A901 and you can have your code there. Get in touch with your programmer he/she should be knowing how to create this and how to include this in the main program..

EntityBean: values are not loaded!

i am working with jboss 2.0. i have an entity been having only get methods in its remote interface. the problem is that according to the specification, before a call to method in remote interface ejbLoad() must be called. but the strange thing is that ejbLoad() is called only one time( on first request) after deployment. on the other hand ejbStore() is called each time a get method is called.
is there anything that i am missing? does anybody have an idea?

Of course, ejbLoad() should be called once.
This call takes place when a entity bean is made active again, that's to say, when ejbActivate() method is called.
But every time you make change to the object, records in tables should be changed, too.

Journalised data is not loaded in Target??

I am new to ODI.
In journalisng Tab,I am using "Simple" as my Journalising mode and KM as "JKM oracle simple".
Using CDC, I am capturing the new and changed data(Viewed through Journal data).
But the data is not been loaded in the target.
Please give me the correct steps to Follow.

Setups for new operating units not loading to target

If there is a new operating unit in the source, setups for that operating unit do not seem to load into the target if that new operating unit does not exist in the target.
Is there a script to address this issue?
Any additional advice will be appreciated.

Hi,
There are lot of dependencies between setup data that you are trying to load. Operating Unit depends on Accounting Setup which in turn depends on setups like Calendar, Currencies and Chart of Accounts. So, you have to make sure that you have loaded all prerequisite data before loading operating unit.

Invoice creation in batch jobas are not in sequence

Hello ,
I schedule two batch job with diffrent variant at the same time. When invoices are created in batch job there numbers are not in sequence. If I check creation time then Invoice creation time of Invoice number 2 is latter than invoice creation time of number5.
As per number range concept Invoice 2 should create before Invoice 5.
Why this is happening?

You have to perfrom RFC Lookup in mapping level if the coiuntry is IND,anyway you are on PI7.11 so you can perform RFC llok to check the it is existed customer or not. search in sdn for RFC look up.
Finally use enhanced Receiver determination to determin receiver.
search in sdn you will get it hot to determine dthe receiver...everything..
the requirement not complex..

Skipping transaction for batch job on streams

We need to run a batch job on streams soruce side. I would like to skip this transaction from streams to capture & apply.
Then run the batch jobs on source & target seperately. How to do it?

There are plenty of valid reasons to execute a batch job independently of replication, not the least of which is that it's a recommended best practice from Oracle.
Minimize the Performance Impact of Batch Processing
For best performance, the commit point for a batch processing job should be kept low. Also, if a large batch processing job must be run at a source database, then consider running it at each Streams replication database independently. If this technique is used, then make sure the changes resulting from the batch processing job are not replicated. To accomplish this, run the DBMS_STREAMS.SET_TAG procedure in the session that runs the batch processing job, and set the session tag to a value that will not be captured by a capture process.
Unless you have made explicit changes to the tag used in your streams rules they are all configured to only replicate if the streams tag is null. If you set this to not-null in a session, changes within that session will not be replicated. For example
exec dbms_streams.set_tag(hextoraw('99'));
You can turn it back on in that session (if needed) with
exec dbms_streams.set_tag(null);
So, if you set the tag in your batch job you can execute it independently of replication.

Batch Job to Create and Send Excel Reports Using!!!

i have a Report which is created by an Query.
My question is, how can i know if this report have a batch-job in background or not??
I want to know if their is existing any job for this report???

Is it possible to create a job for a Query-Report that is sending email in background??

in transaction SM37 you can look for jobs for a specific report using field "ABAP program name".
when you create a job in transaction SM36 you have a button for "Spool list recipient". Fill it out to distribute the spool generated by the jog to a distribution list or an email.

Creation of file through batch job scheduling

Hi friends,
I have a situation where I need to select vendor / customer and after that I need to select one of the option between invoice or payments when User select vendor then it should create a file through schedule batch job .
I am not getting how to do it .
Please help me if any one knows about it.

Which part? The creation of the file? Since running in background, you would need to create the file using DATASET statements on the appliation server. You will not be able to put the file on any frontend PC or server, only on the application server where you program is running.

CDC Error (JOURNALIZED DATA is not loading into tartet database)

HI,
I have enabled source database for CDC and got green mark on source database model tables.
while inserting data into source, J$ tables updating JRN_SUBSCRIBER and other filed.
when I run the package/ interface JOURNALIZED DATA is not loading into target database.
i have implemented cdc for 7 source table.
and using JKM MSSQL Simple
and enable JOURNALIZED DATA in interface level.
and
source database is : MSSQL Server
Target Database : Oralce 11g.
please advice me.

also before running Can you right click on the Source Datastore and click on Journal Data and can you see the data ? and if still the data is not passing through ,in that case make temporary objects t- yes in LKM , IKM and debug and see at which step data is not flowing through and look if there is any filter or condition which is stopping it .
Still not able to figure out please tell us which step the data is not flowing through we will try to guide you.
