Batch Search strategy -"No search Strategy could be found "

I have a typical problem while perfoming GI through pick list (co27).I have given the Production Order No and standard pick profile (00002) , it was taking me to batch determination .While clicking on the batch detemination , it is giving me the above massages : No search Strategy could be found .When I am exploring in the "Strategy Information " , it is not showing me any Sort Rule " SORT_BY_Batch" .I want this to be populated by defauly while clikcing on the Strategy Info.
Can any body give an idea .

Hi Jiaul,
I got your problem.
U r tyring to do batch determination for pick list. But u have defined the batch search strategy in COB1 which is for batch determination for process orders ( in component overview).
U need to create the search strategy using MBC1 (use strategy type ME01 , Plant, material, mvmnt type). This triggers the batch determination in inventory management, which is ur requirement.
Maintain the search strategy for thsi combination ( give the movement type ( for ex. 261) which will be used while u execute the pick list)
Please get back after trying out this.

In my MIGO screen , iam not able to find the batches for reservation number,
i selected a goods issue , reservation number , and entered a reservation number , then perssed enter ,
i got the item , then i pressed stock determination button in Quantity tab , i got the stock determination screen , then if press copy button , i dint any batches , iam getting some message in my status bar as " no search strategy could be found"..

I hope, u have created the reservation with reference to production order, and components are maintained as Batch.
Do u able to see the Batch Number at MMBE. if yes
Create Batch search strategy record at COB1 for component.
If i am wrong please explain about issue of reservation .

When searching the calendar in list view, appointments erlier than a few years could not be found after search. en appointment from 1974 could not be found although it appears in the list.

This is a support forum. Its purpose is helping to resolve people's problems. Sometimes those problems are going to require long explanations or lots of information. Yes, my post was long. Had you read it, you might have understood why it's so long. I'm trying to provide information that people searching these forums about this problem might find helpful. I did this because when I searched for info on this problem, I found lots of people with a similar problem, but no answers that went beyond "restore from backup". Since that advice wasn't the solution for me, I decided that more information might prompt someone with more knowledge and access than I have to investigate. Since you couldn't be bothered to read it, you clearly aren't the kind of person whose attention I was hoping to catch.
Certainly I could have made the post shorter, but I think putting it into a narrative like this makes it easier to follow and provides a context that a terse recitation of bare facts does not. If you disagree, that's your prerogative, but please don't waste everyone else's time by posting a comment just to say that you didn't read it.
I find it appalling that someone who's able to reach Level 6 on these support forums would post a "tldr" comment. That does not reflect positively on you or these forums.

Error executing search on Plumtree Corporate Portal : Could not contact the Search Server.

I have intsalled the plumtree portal.... The links are working. But when i search any word then it gives following error messages

Santosh,It appears that your portal server can not connect to the Search Server.1) Check to ensure that the "Plumtree Portal Search Server" NT Service is running. It will be an NT service. If you check the PlumtreePortal_v5-0.properties file you should see two entries for where you installed the Search service.SEARCH_SERVER_HOST=servernameSEARCH_SERVER_PORT=15244
2) If the service is not started, then start it...
3) You can test connectivity to the Search Server by telnetting to server in question at port 15244 (or whatever port you installed the search service on). If you get a response from Ignite, then the search server is up..

COPA extraction: RD155 No source could be found to answer the search query

I'm trying to schedule an init. load for the new fiscal year from an Account-based 1_CO_PA** extractor. I've entered restrictions for Controlling Area (single entry) and Fiscal Period (PERIO) 001.2011 - 001.2025.
When I try to schedule the init. load or even test the extraction in RSA3, I get the error message 'No source could be found to answer the search query'. I've checked my summarization levels and and they have the value '*' for all characteristics.
If someone can provide an explanation for the error message, it would be most helpful.

This error is almost always caused by incomplete or incorrect customizing:
In addition, the summarization level must have status 'ACTIVE' (this applies also to the search function in the maintenance transaction for CO-PA data sources,KEB0).
Please also review the SAP note 392635 which is release independent and has further information on the customizing and CO-PA extraction:
392635 - Information: Sources with BW extraction for account-based
           CO-PA
So please check your customizing and the note 392635 carefully in particular please pay attention to the following:
There has to be one (single) summarization level that contains all characteristics (except for the controlling area) with '*' in the
characteristics view in transaction KEDV and has status 'active'.
After checking the above you need to replicate the datasource in the connected BW system and reactivate the transfer rules.

Hi All,
while checking my new COPA datasource in RSA3, I get the Error message No source could be found to answer the search query Message no RD155.
I have maintained the summarization levels which is in a status of "Active Without Data". Also note, the tables for CE1XXXX, CE2XXXX & CE3XXXX do not contain data. However, CE4XXXX table does contain data.
Kindly help.... its very very important and i need to finish this datasource ASAP

I am unable to implement both the notes as I am already on a higher version of PI_BASIS.
I have replicated my datasource into the BW system..
While doing the INIT load without DATA TRANSFER, i do not get any error message, however, while doing a Delta it does not bring in any records but does not fail as well
However, if i delete the initialization selections and load the data using the setting INITIALIZATION WITH DATA TRANSFER or Full UPDATE, the data load fails with the ERROR MESSAGE "Errors occurred in data selection."
Please help... This issue is very very important and i need to deliver it ASAP

Why are preivous searches showing in search bar?

Running Firefox 34.0.5. Windows 7 64bit.
Somehow with these new changes to the search bar (which I hate) it now shows prior searches as I start typing in a new subject. Meaning I type "a" and then it shows me all my searches I made starting with the letter "A". I never had this show up before the latest update.
How do I turn this off or disable this feature? In my privacy section I have "never remember" selected. Is there something in "about:config" I need to do?
PS. The new search bar sucks. Before, I could click on the site icon and simply hit the enter key where it takes me to the site's home page (meaning I could just click the youtube icon and hit enter for a blank search where it takes me to the homepage). Now I have to do two steps to accomplish what I used to do. Just rambling

Searching in this fields is working with the default IPrincipalSearchFilter.SEARCHMETHOD_AND (default)

From the learning portal we click on Search and Extended Search , nothing is diplay by the system . We have course matching the description . Also in the back office : LSO_TRAININGTYPE_SEARCH_C seems to be OK .
