Batch status change with UD

Hi Everybody,
I have a question about batch status change while taking UD. I understand that stock posting and batch status for each UD code is decided by the value in 'Posting proposal UD' field in Selected Set settings. I understand that I can customize the movement types for the values (eg VMENGE01, VMENGE02 etc) in config. But that is only for stock posting. From what setting is the Batch status decided eg. If we approve, the batch is unrestricted and if we reject it is restricted.
Can I customize those values which are available in the drop down in the 'Posting proposal UD' ? Can I create a value of my own ?

execute tcode QS51
you will be able to see 'Posting Proposal UD' in "Selected Set ". Now select that line (Posting Proposal UD line). Status for Posting Proposal UD should be "Released"
After selecting that line on left hand side there is " Dialog Structure " in that there is " Selected Set Code " Click on that.
Complete list of code will come you can add and modify those codes.

You can use program (SE38) RBSVCDOC to track these changes. Else go manually in CJ20N to track these status changes.
Use JCDS and JEST table for any other reporting on it.

System status change with delegated standard object

Hi everybody,
I delegated BUS2005 (production order) to ZBUS2005 and created a new event based upon the system status MANC (I0420). It works fine when I use my custom object ZBUS2005 in BSVZ and this event is successfully triggered. But when I change this object to the standard object BUS2005 in the same transaction BSVZ, the event is not triggered. BUS2005 has been already delegated to ZBUS2005.
Can somebody kindly tell me how this can be fixed? I want to see the standard object, BUS2005 in the trace, instead of my custom object.

Well, I have created many events for other objects and delegated the objects.
In all these cases, I can see the standard objects in the trace, not the customized objects. But in these cases, I didnt go for status change management.
So, why dont I see the same standard object in the trace in this case of BUS2005? Even the setting in BAVZ has been done according to BUS2005, not ZBUS2005. So, I am expecting BUS2005 in the trace. Trace comes only when I change this BUS2005 to ZBUS2005 in BSVZ.
Please give your comments.

Status Change with Compulsory Original File Attachment

Hi,
We have created a document with 3 statuses (Created, Acknowledged, Released).
DIR will be created with "Created" status.
When the status will change to u201CAcknowledgedu201D system should check whether the DIR has a original file checked in. i.e. Changing status should be have mandatory condition of original is attached.
Same for the transition from "Acknowledged" to "Released"
How to do this?

I ordered my iphone 6 8 days ago and I have noticed that there is no status change with it, the order is still "processing". I'm very frustrated and would like to know how much longer it will be "processing".

I have heard of people ordering their iphone 6's and having them shipped out in the next day. I understand demand is extremely high but I don't understand why it has to take this long for my order to be fulfilled.

mattminsch, I know that you're excited to get your new device and we are too. The demand for these devices would most certainly be high and depending on the model that was purchased. Currently for the time frame that was mentioned the ship date would be 10/31 for most models. Once the device has been set to ship only then would you see the order change from processing to shipped. Do you remember what model you purchased?

Update overview log on status change in SM 4.0

When processing support desk messages in CRM_DNO_MONITOR, we change the status to 'In process' and other values. While these actions are recorded in the change documents, we are looking for a method of recording selected status changes with the date and user in the Overview log on the Transaction Data tab. It would seem that this would be defined in SPPFCADM but none of the action definitions seem to match what we are trying to accomplish. Any help provided will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Change requests cannot be displayed or created, because the RFC connection has errors, or is not maintained.
Check whether the RFC connection to the Change Man agement system is under the key CHARM_DEST (APPLI field in the DESTINAT field), in the view BCOS_CUST. You need authorization for the cross-client view/table maintenance (S_TABU_DIS and S_TABU_CLI).
Not sure how to check this!
Check the RFC connection in the transaction SM59. If your SAP Solution Manager system is also your Change Manager system, the internal connection must be 'NONE'. You need authorization for the administration of RFC connections (S_RFC_ADM).
My Solution Manager is my Change Manager system.
You may have to dumb it down for me.

Email notification in Charm with several status changes

Hello,
according to OSS 1275036 I tried to implement email notification in my Charm-process using BADI AGS_SDK_SCHED_ST_CHD in my schedule condition. If a new partner is responible in Charm-process, this partner should be notified by email. The email should be send if user status is changing.
It still works for my change request (notification of change manager) and the first step of my change document (notification of developer). But for all following steps (e.g. notification of tester) no action for email-notification is found in my change document.
In my actions I only use schedule conditions (according to OSS) and no start condition. To use the BADI for several user status, I maintained my user status in field value instead of inital value.
Does anybody know, how to use this BADI for several status changes in my change document?

Hello together,
I solved my problem by using CRM Standardcustomizing. Forgot SAP note 1275036 and 865619. They are all bad and not sufficient for a complex Charm scenario.
I only used note 1275036 for the first mail in my change document (email to developer). For all following mail notifcations I'm using actions based on workflow conditions instead of BADI.
Just using normal CRM-Customizing and create one schedule and start condition for every used action.
E.g. send mail to tester:
schedule condition:
&Servicevorgang CRM.Anwenderstatus& [*] E0002+DHFHEAD
and &Servicevorgang CRM.ErrorFreeFlag& = X
start condition:
&Servicevorgang CRM.Anwenderstatus& [*] E0004+DHFHEAD
and &Servicevorgang CRM.ErrorFreeFlag& = X
This works perfect, because you won't get several mails for one status if you save your document more than one time, which is a problem with note 865619.

I know of CDHDR table, but there are no entries for statuses?

2LIS_11_VAITM delta with user status change (JEST, JCDS)

Hi,
I'm using standard datasource '2LIS_11_VAITM' for sales order delta, and I'm trying to add new fileds which is user status in 'Status' tab in sales order.
I thought it would be captured as delta if I change user status of sales order, but it's not captured as delta.
I'm trying to avoid using generic datasource with table 'JEST' or 'JCDS'.
Is there any way that user status change can be captured as delta?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Bryn,
Normally when the status is updating is there flag is updating accordingly.If yes considered that field also for enhamncement then delts records will be picked for user status.
More details check with SD consulatnt they will provide the complete details.

Problem with Restricted Recruiter Requisition Status Change Approval Proces

Hello,
Our company is having a problem with Recruiters recieving any approval notifications for requisitions where the status change is performed by someone logged on as a Restricted Recruiter. The approval notification never appears in the Recruiters approval page. The Restricted Recruiter is able to submit the request without any problems.
I was hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction so that I may begin troubleshooting this.

I have been doing some digging on this matter on E-Recruiting workflow and have discovered transaction SWI2_FREQ (Work Items per Task), very useful. Upon running this utility I found 8 pending approval request tasks. I double clicked on the task to show the workflow status of each task.
I double clicked on one of the request for status change tasks for a requisition which took me to the approval request for status change of Req ########. Here I clicked on the activities tab selected the activities tab, selected the activity Approval request for status change of Requisition ######## then clicked on the execute icon.
Doing this opened up a new web browser and prompted me to login. Using the correct login credentials for this environment I click the login button and promptly recieve the error message...
Error in Web service execution

At this point I am unsure of where to go...

at 3 in the morning skype starts wailing because of a incoming call. cus apparently some retard at skype thinks auto status change is the thing that is usefull and helpfull.
well its the middle of winter everybody in the hosue woke up because the desktop was getting an incomming call.
so i had to get up with the heat turned down to change the status back to busy.
there is a reason i change the status to busy/do not distrub.
do you know what i did to me. i got a migraine. you try and get woken up in the middle of the nigth by a extrrmely loud skype incomming call. have to get out of bed. in the ocld.
well i am suspectibel to migraine. so thats to you i got a migraine.

on top of that as i got up to deal with your program. i just end the call. and changed status from away to buys.

External Mailing with DIR status change

Hi SAP gurus
we have a particular senario,
where in DIR of Particular Document types at reaching a particular document status, a mail has to sent to the concerned relevent authorities for corrections and Approval.
(as and when the status changes to be mailed personalities also Changes)
how can this be achived if the mail has to be sent to there company or external Mailing IDs apart from SAP mail.
Can this be done using Document Distribution?
what is the Work flow activities involved (if required) for enabling this functions,

you can do it by doc distribution and activating some standerd task. and for mailing to extenal mail id , you have to activate SMTP, by tcode SCOT
but according to your requirement , you should consult to workflow consultent.

Batch status disappearing after taking the UD (QA11)

Hi Experts,
We are facing the following issue (ECC6.0 EHP5 with no enhancement activated):
- when the UD is made for the IL created at GR from purchase order (origin 01), the batch status initially set at GR (Q) is cleared; same time the UD for the IL is recorded and kept correctly (UD has the new status)
- when this UD is changed for the same IL, the batch status is getting updated with the new status; the UD for the IL is correctly updated, too.
We have implemented the note 1687321, but the problem still persists.
Has anyone of you faced the similar problem? Any hints where to look for the root-cause?
I've checked the user exits for batch update and QA11 (based on forum posts), but they are not called at making UD or they have correct values.

I think we are on the same page with terminology
Indeed, our process is a bit "enhanced" I would say. When doing the GR from purchase order, the batch characteristic LOBM_UDCODE is pre-filled with the UD of "Q" (LEANQM1 Q) whereas the IL created upon packing of HUs has no UD.
Then, when user makes UD for this IL, the pre-filled UD on batch level should be changed to the UD user made. It is not and the value disappears. I've run some checks on the ABAP code and the issue seems to be caused by the VB_CHANGE_BATCH used in the MQEVAF40 in form charge_klassifizieren. When the initial UD is made (QA11), the internal table for this f-n module has only the new values the batch classification is to be updated with. When the UD change is made (QA12) - both new and old values are provided. If I change the internal table values to include old and new ones for the initial UD, the process works correctly (batch LOBM_UDCODE is updated with new value).
As we are upgrading to ECC6 EHP5, I've compared the flow to the ECC5 and the values provided to VB_CHANGE_BATCH at initial UD (QA11) are the same for both systems. The process works in ECC5. As result, we have created the OSS message.
In MSC3n changes to the batch characteristics are visible from change docs - and the log is kept for QA11 and QA12. For the removal of LOBM_UDCODE it displays "deleted" values, and for QA12 it shows "created" values. In other words - change logs are working correctly.
Once SAP responds to OSS message I will update this tread. Any ideas appreciated.

Batch status updating using function module BAPI_BATCH_SAVE_REPLICA

I want to change batch status after creating the outbound delivery through inbound idoc, i was able to create delivery , but after creation, i should update the batch status using function module BAPI_BATCH_SAVE_REPLICA, but i was unable to execute this function module correctly,
Can any one provide details like what are minimum things that are required to update the batch status using this function module.
In my system batches are defined at plant level.
Please let me know the solution if any one knows this.
