Batch Syndication General export error.

I am getting the following error message when I do a batch syndication.  This is not consistent, but happens about 50% of the time.
Syndication Error.
(-301) General export error.
Any idea on what may be the cause.
Regards,
Simon

This is the info we got from SAP via OSS re this error ...
Summary
Symptom
While using the Syndicator Batch  you are receiving general connection errors of the type (-301) General Export Error
Other terms
-301, batch syndicator
Reason and Prerequisites
The Syndicator Batch is running together with the Syndicator Server (batch and auto syndication inside mdss)
OR
The same repository is being processed by two batches
OR
You are syndicating from two different repositories using the same mdss
Solution
The issue is solved in SP04 Patch 2 Hotfix 1, however, if you do not need any ports syndication in parallel to the Syndicator Batch, then set the Auto Syndication parameter 'Auto Syndication Task Enabled' to 'False' in the mdss.ini and in this case you will not need to upgrade to the Hotfix. In case that you do need the ports syndication in parallel and you cannot carry out the upgrade, then you may use a workaround by increasing the Delay parameter in the mdss.ini to a much higher value i.e.3600 sec.

  • General Export Error 301 while running syndication batch

    Hi
When I run the syndication batch for the map of the Customer repository I get an error "General Export Error 301 ".Has anyone faced this problem. Is any configuration needed to be done. The syndication server is running fine..
Is there any blog related to this..
Points will be awarded for useful answers.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
You have given port no 2015. Are you sure that the port no of the repository from which you are going to syndicate data is correct. You can check the port no of any MDM repository using MDM console. For this you have to click on the mounted MDM server name.It will display the list of all repositories available on that server with their port numbers. Please confirm port no. is correct.
Also confirm that you are using client system code instead of the client system name.IN addition to this, also check
    ●      Is the target MDM repository loaded?
    ●      Is the port type Outbound?
    ●      Is the port’s Processing property set to Automatic?
    ●      Is the port connected to a Syndicator or other MDSS?
    ●      Do the Login and Password values in the mdss.ini file match the Login and Password values for the repository on the MDM Console
You can try one more thing, Just give the command with <b>"-l" option</b>
Hope it will help you.Revert back if you have further queries.
    Thanks,
    Shiv.

  • Causes of "(-301) General export error."

    Hi,
I always get an "(-301) General export error." by calling syndication batch:
    D:\SAP\MDM\Syndicator Batch>SyndicatorBatch.exe -f D:\Update-Heizkoerper\01.in\test -o -s VM-MDMSP4P1-CK -p 2040 -u kohlerch -r "German [MASTER]" -n UpdateFerts -a MDM
    Syndication error.
    (-301) General export error.
I double-checked the entries, I also get a connection to the database as you can see by:
    D:\SAP\MDM\Syndicator Batch>SyndicatorBatch.exe -f D:\Update-Heizkoerper\01.in\test -o -s VM-MDMSP4P1-CK -p 2040 -u kohlerch -l
    Syndication Name                         Type
    UpdateFerts                              XML
So what else can cause this error? Are there any specific documentation about syndicator batch?
    Greetings
    Christoph Kohler

    Hi,
We created in the console for "German [DE]"  a dialect by copying it and rename it to "German [MASTER]".
"German [DE]" (an available language) also doesn't work:
    D:\SAP\MDM\Syndicator Batch>SyndicatorBatch.exe -f D:\Update-Heizkoerper\01.in\test -o -s VM-MDMSP4P1-CK -p 2040 -u kohlerch -r "German [DE]" -n UpdateFerts -a MDM
    Syndication error.
    (-301) General export error.
    I checked:
    -a "Remote System Names"
    -f alternative path name
    -r different languages
    -n different Export mappings
I just want to unterstand what can cause an General export error.
    Thanks Christoph

  • Quicktime error 50 and general export error

Recently finished a project in FCPX (10.0.8) on an iMac running 10.8.3 and am unable to share or export the file in any form.
The project has media from SD and HDV cameras as well as images and an audio track consisting of two non-DRM music files.
Initially I tried sharing to YouTube and got the nefarious error 50. Searched near and far for solutions all of which seem to suggest a corrupt media file of some type. I downloaded ProTools but apparently I have no such corrupt file.
I tried exporting the master file and the process continually aborts at frame 1346 and returns 'error 1'.
I was pretty experienced at FCE and am relatively new to FCPX so any help would be very much appreciated. Hate to have all my work lost.
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks to a reply on a different thread I was able to get a workaround.
    Bought Compressor.

  • Batch-input for exporting cost calculation to a local file (ecc 6.0)

    Hi,
we had a batch-input to export some data in a local file (excel format) in SAP 4.5B.
We recorded transaction CK11 for a material number, we got Itemization screen and then we recorded menu' option "List . Export . Local file / Spreadsheet). If the batch-input ran in foreground it would produce required outputs (some excel files).
Now we are migrating from 4.5B version to Ecc6.0; we recorded same transaction (both ck11 and ck11n, to be more ), but at execution time the window for local file saving never is displayed and B.I. stops with error.
One difference is that now data are collected into a container,  instead that in a write list ...

    Hi again,
the data i look for is a result of calculation of different tables so for every single product, it is calculated. In standart CO reports, there is no such report that give me that detail.
Finally i managed to call print OK code, but it was in the foreground processing mode, i cannot run it on backround processing..
I know i misuse the LSMW, but i think LSMW may have such flexibility to use such reports, thanks to SAP.. it was an adhoc report i tried to combine, so writing a program may be much more time consuming.

  • Bridge batch to Photoshop CS4 error from subfolder

    Hello
I used to launch Photoshop scripts from Bridge CS2 using the "tools->photoshop->batch" menu. Now that I upgraded to CS4, I have an error message: "a general photoshop error appeared. This function may not be available in this Photoshop version".
But what is strange, is thas this error only appears when I work on pictures located in a subfolder of my second hard disc drived, called "data HDD". It works good from my system HDD, and from the root of my data HDD...
I tried to refresh Bridge preferences, nothing better.
I try to launch the scripts on the same pictures from an other computer through network, it works good...
    Anyone has a solution?
    Thanks,

What comes to mind is to use Apple Disk utility on this partition to check
and repair permissions and maybe run an app like Disk Warrior to clean up
the disk. If this is not working then try using Finder to create a brand new
folder and subfolders on this drive and still in Finder move the files with
drag and drop to those new folders. Let Bridge cache them again and try if
    this works.
You might want to try it first with one folder and a few files if you have a
great number of files on this disk
My "data HDD" is a partition of an internal drive.

Thanks Harini,  That solved my Export error, however I am still having issues withthe Weather Magnet Application.  After uploading it and creating a PAR File iView I am getting lots of errors that I can't figure out.  (I haven't quite gotten the hang of reading the error logs yet).

  • Export Error Lightroom 3

    Help!
I keep getting error message as follows, when I attempt a bulk export in lightroom 3 from RAW to JPEG:
The first 2 times it worked perfectly and when I tried to export the third batch it said:
An internal error has occured ?:0: attempt to index field '_dataChanges' (a nil value)
Can't find a field titled dataChanges anywhere

    Hi Rob,
I rebooted and haven't had a problem since!
No idea what happened or why. Should have followed the age old IT solve all

Hi Chantelle - you're welcome, although I haven't been much help at this point. Which export service, which settings... - if you give me / us more to work with it may be possible some idea is triggered. Is it repeatable? Does it depend on which files are bing exported? OS version, Lr version... Even if still no ideas, Adobe would need such info in the bug report. Rob

  • Why "Export Error Codec Initialization Problem!" when I export using Adobe Media Encorder for FLV?

I get "Export Error - Codec Initialization Problem!" when I try to export a project using Adobe Media Encoder as a Macromeida Flash Video.  Premiere Pro 2.0 goes through the rendering process but no file is created; just the Export Error message.  What does this mean, and what do I need to do to export a project as a FLV file?
    Thanks.

Sounds weird...  You could try the standard fix for general unexplained behaviour in a document; export it to idml, open that, save as an Indesign file and try exporting again.  If that doesn't work try a few different presets, like smallest file size.  If that doesn't work try opening your image in Photoshop, resaving as a psd, placing that (delete your old one) and see if that helps.  Obviously do this on a copy....

  • Lightroom 1.1 Export Error

I just upgraded to Lightroom 1.1. Now I can't export. I get an export error message pop up.
I have tried to exporting from a file (left menu) and from collections (left menu). Both render an export error message.
When trying to export 16 photos, here is the message I get:
"An error occurred while exporting. 16 folders failed to export."
Am I missing something here? It worked really well in V1.0.

I am also having problems with 1.1 and exporting. I attempted to batch about 3,000 RAW files to JPG the other day. I selected the folder and chose my export settings. Then it began to churn through them as normal. The goofy thing is that when they finished about 3hrs later only 250 of the 3000 were on the disk. LR gave me an error, "Unable to export 25xx pictures" with no other information. I have about 300gb free on the disk and am using a Inspiron 1705 with 2.2ghz core 2 duo and 2gb of ram. I don't understand why it would continue to act like its exporting when it really wasn't? Oh! not to mention I have been getting the OUT OF MEMORY upside down in red with 1.1 as well!

  • Export Error Win API error 2

Hi, after a reasonably uneventfull couple of years with LR1.1 to LR 2.3,  I am confronted with an error along the lines of " an internal error occurred WIN 32 API error 2, the system cannot find the file specified when calling Shell Execute from AG Workspace"  This has me in a bit of a pickle as I have to get images to client sooner rather than later, all processed to certain criterea/presets from within LR2.3.
    Any idea's?
    Many Thanks
PS, I also noticed that my anti virus, Bitdefender Total security 2009 picked up a Trojan Generic "Virus"! Could these issues be related?
Nikon Gear, Win XP2000 , Dual Core Intel Processor, 4 Gb Ram, Nvidea Graphics

Many thanks for your assistance Ian, really appreciated. My only concern is that LR 2.3 has been working pretty darn well, apart from the odd "speed" concern, but generally I have been more than happy. The export error was something that came out of left field, and caught me off gaurd. Do you feel that upgrading to 2.4 will solve the issue?
    Best wishes

  • General Capture Error

    Hi all-
I'm having some Final Cut problems, and hoping someone has an idea on how to help!! When I log and capture in Final Cut, occasionally it will get to the end of whatever I'm capturing and say "General Capture Error- an unknown capture error has occurred." Whatever I am capturing which I watched import in the computer disappears. In addition, if I try to use capture clip or stop the capturing say a minute before the end of the clip to avoid the problem, I still get a capture error and the file disappears.
I'm bringing my G5 in to Apple next week to get fixed. I'm also having trouble burning discs from iTunes and I can't Verify & Repair disk permissions. I'm running Final Cut 5.0.4. Is this the sort of problem where I should ask them to erase and reinstall everything? Thanks for any insight.

I had the EXACT same problem, down to the last detail. And like you, I couldn't solve it. Tried everything. Called everyone. Researched everywhere. Nothing. But then I solved it.
It wasn't the computer, camera or any settings, it was the hard drive format. My external hard drive was formatted to FAT32, which has a 4GB file limit. So any video capture over 4GB would general error when it should complete the capture. I formatted the hard drive to Mac OS X Extended Journaled (which has a huge limit) and now it works perfectly. I just captured two separate hour-long files with no problem on Batch Capture.

  • Adobe media encoder export error  "writer not found"

When trying to export to wmv using adobe media encoder I get an export error of "writer not found". I did a search and found others having the same issue with no fix as far as I can see. Just wondering if anyone has any more iformation on this. I'm using Vista Ultimate and Premiere CS3.
    Thanks

I registered the WMEncoderHelper.exe file with regserv, but I still get
the "writer not found error". I wish I knew what codec it is trying to find and use.

  • Quicktime Export Error: "An output module stopped responding."

I'm experiencing an odd export error whenever I use any Quicktime codecs:
"After Effects error: An output module stopped responding. The file may be damaged or corrupted. You may need to restart After Effects."
Similarly, Adobe Media Encoder hangs when outputting to Quicktime codecs. Neither program makes any progress at all before the hang occurs. At that point, I have to manually "end task" to exit. Also, it doesn't seem to matter what I try to export. In AME, for example, I can simply try to convert one video format to another and have it hang, so I don't think the problem is due to a problem with the source settings or effects. Also, I'm not attempting any multiprocessing since I don't really have enough RAM for that. Other output modules work, so I'm just exporting image sequences for the time being.
    System specs:
    Windows 7 64-bit
    Intel i7-2600k processor
    8 GB RAM
    GTX 580 GPU
    Software:
    Adobe CS6
AE Plugins include Tracode Suite 12 and Optical Flares
    Quicktime 7.7.3
Any thoughts on this? I've seen very few references to this error in other places, and not really found a solution that seems to apply to my situation. Thanks in advance for your help.
    Josh

Thanks for setting me in the right direction. Clicking through to the 25 :: 101 error page (http://myleniumerrors.com/2013/01/06/25-101-4/) led me to a reference about other software, such as remote access software, using the same ports that AE needs for communication with its various processes. In my case, LogMeIn was the culprit. I had no idea that AE even used TCP for these types of operations, so that's very helpful to know.
    *EDIT*
That worked temporarily, and now it doesn't work. I ran into a similar effect when I first disabled the Windows Firewall. But of course, as I type this and piddle around, it works again. It SEEMS like if I open AME and click into the output settings and scrub through the video preview, it makes everything work when I go to actually export. That's exactly the type of thing I would say is completely unrelated under normal circumstances, but at the moment all I know is that it is currently working and I don't want to test anything else until I finish the rendering I need to accomplish today. I'll work on it more later and post an update at that time.
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • PE 7 memory and export errors

In Premiere Elements ver 7, I have put together a 4 1/2 minute video made up of mpeg4 HD 720p mixed with regular avi digital footage. I am having memory errors and export errors when trying to render into a wmv or mpeg file.  When working on previous videos with non-HD footage, I didn't have these issues. I also recently put together a 1 minute mpeg4 HD 720p video rendered into HD 720p wmv file without any issues.
    1) memory errors - I got these when I was putting the video together and when rendering. After a lot of restarting the PC and reworking the video, I was able to finally complete in pre-render format.  It includes music soundtrack and transitions/effects.
    Here are my PC's specs:
Dell Inspiron 530 with Intel Quad Core CPU 2.66Ghz processor
    4 GB RAM
    32 bit OS
    Windows Vista SP1
When rendering, I get the "caution - low memory, save your work" message. I have since set the virtual memory paging file size per Technote kb404939.  This seems to have helped a little bit but still getting the message even though it continues to render....but then I get the export error message....
    2) Export errors - I first tried to render into a wmv HD 720p 30fps file. In the first 1 of 2 rendering phase, I got the "Export Error - failed to return a frame - cancelling operation" message. I checked for gaps in the timeline and there are none. Even though I do have some black space/dip to black sequences, I can "page down" through the entire movie without any pauses or hiccups with the CTI (Current Time Indicator).
I then tried to render into a smaller wmv LAN speed file, and it went through the first 1 of 2 phases rendering (with the low memory message but it kept on going). Just after it started into the 2 of 2 rendering phase, I got an error message saying "Export Error - Unknown Error".
What to do? I'm very frustrated at this point after a great deal of time invested in this video and troubleshooting the issues. Please help. Thanks.

What are the sources of your video? What types of camcorders did this video come from?
Premiere Elements supports AVCHD video, but does not work well with video from Flip and webbie camcorders, which use proprietary codecs. They can also use non-standard frame rates. Conversion is usually necessary before the files can be edited in Premiere Elements.
And does your DV footage come from a miniDV camcorder captured over FireWire? And what project settings are you using in Premiere Elements.
I would also not recommend mixing HD and DV footage in the same project. This could also be contributing to your problems.
I also recommend you visit Windows Update and manually download any (even non-critical) updates. Vista should be at least on SP2. You may also want to download the latest version of Quicktime.
