Batches at a location

HI,
1 ) In my initial screen, I need to get batches at a particular storage location,plant.I need to join mchb,mska and mkol.Is there a FM to get all this data.Also I should get batches where UnRestricted Quantity or Blocked Qty is not zero.
2 ) When I get all my batches and I select a material I should get batches for that material at all storage locations.
Any help is highly appreciated.

We have a requirement, where batches at vendor location ('O' stock) needs to be combined. Based on
our investigation we could not find a movement type to combine batches at vendor location.

Why 309 is not possible? We can use 309 O movement type to transfer the stock from one batch to another batch. In that case material and receiving material will be same.

Can I batch assign a location?

Can I batch assign a location? My scenario is that I have all my images for this year in only one folder and many of them are taken in the same location and I would like to assign that location to the batch, which I select by clicking on the relevant images. Thanks for any help.

Select the folder and switch to browser view then in the upper right hand corner of the screen select the places icon
This will open places with all the images in the folder in the filmstrip. Select them all and drag them to the proper place on the map.

Find batches by storage location

Hello Gurus:
we have a situation where the batches for a particualr materials are stored in IM and WM managed Storage locations and when they manually enter the batches during the production order confirmations they enter the wrong batches from the WM manages storage location instead of IM. In the batch search procedure can we have a new strategy plant/material/sloc so that during during the batch seaarch they will have a new tab with this combination where they can enter the storage location so that it pulls only the related one.
or
when they enter the wm manged storage location batch it needs to throw an error message saying wrong batches.
Let me know your thoughts guys.

Now you are saying this:
The workers manually enter the batches in the system and they find the batches by going into the storage locations and writing down in the paper.
Let me phrase what I understand from this:
your workers write down the batch number of the stock that they physically found in your locations
then they enter this batch in production order confirmations
But you say it is the wrong batch, because in SAP this batch is in the other storage location
And you want restrict that people can enter a movement with a correct phyiscally found batch number, just because your stock in SAP is not accurate.
Dont you think this is the wrong solution? instead of restriction and forcing the people to record wrong information you should conduct a physical inventory and correct your stock situation to be accurate for follow-on-activities.

Batch sequence folder location in Win7

Sorry to duplicate this -- got the message saying it was answered, but the link led nowhere and the question itself appears to have vanished.
I'm trying to figure out where to copy my user-defined batch sequences for the migration from the old WinXP PC to the new Win7 PC. The folder path for these on the Win XP machine seems to have no counterpart in Win7.
Same program version & edition (AA 9 Pro) on each machine -- deactivated on the old one & installed on the new.

My requirement is to extract Data from 2lis_13_vdkon from R/3 source system.
currently we are on R/3 PI 2003_1_470, For 2lis_13_vdkon we need to upgrade to PlugIn 2004_1.
we are planning to upgraded to Solution Tool 2008-1, will that be helpful or we need to upgrade to PlugIn 2004_1.

MIGO Mvt 311 no batch copy to receiving location

I tried to perform Mvt typ 311 to transfer batch stock from 1 location to another. I have entered batch number in source location and expect the receiving location has the same batch proposed automatically, but it is not the case.
I tried Mvt Type 311 for same item and batch in MB1B, the system automatically proposed the source batch as receiving location batch.
Any reason for that ?

I did not make it clear in my question.
The problem arises in MIGO which Mvt Type 311 does not copy batch from source to receiving storage location. However, in MB1B, there is no such problem.

Difference in VAluated and Storage location Stock

Hi SAP Gurus,
I'm facing following problem during viewing Stock on Posting Date (MB5B)
For a perticular material, perticular plant, particular period
When I view storage location /Batch Stock (storage location not specified): Lesser Stock is shown
When I view Valuated Stock stock shown is more.

I am using T.code MC.9 and MC.1
when i am executing the MC.9 for all materials
some of the materials with ZERO stock i mean valuated stock is ZERO but its showing value of the Valuated stock. same case with MC.1 also which is storage location wise
for a ZERO qty in storage location its showing valuated stock,
i have raised an issue to SAP they are working on it , we have open our PRD system to check SAP people.

Is there any transaction code to list material number, batch number, batch description, storage location and qty and BUoM at the date of 2011. Jan.1?
altogether.
if no such t-code, can any one tell me the tables to pull this info?

but table MCH1 only list the batch code, no batch description, further more no quantity by batch and by storage location.
what other tables I can use.
I get a further requirement, add one more column, sales delivery number, how to get at delivery number by material and by batch, any t-code or tables to use?

Automatic Determination Of Storage Loc Based On Batch In Delivery or SO

Dear SD Experts,
We have multiple storage locations within a plant and the same material may exist in different batches within multiple storage locations.
Our Batch Search Stragey is Based On Expiry Date.
We have a requirement where we donot want to enter the storage location in Sales order creation.
But during the delivery creation process the system should be able to determine storage location(s) for the item based on different batches. And create separate line items or split on the delivery (based upon multiple storage locations) If the entire sales order line item quantity is not available in a single batch with a single storage location.

when u can install the stock for particular material for based on *migo*, its ok, when migo is happen, batch tab its comes, it or automatic batch creation, system creates batch number number , its comes , deferent batch comes, so material comes deferent

ofter u will MSC2N ENTER Ur material ,batch ,plant, storage location press enter check all details ,
when u enter for delivery line item comes based on line item storage location it comes automatically, delivery quantity also its comes, ofter u will do the batch detemation, first u clik batch split ofter system soes pop up screen , ofter click batch determination, in this times system soes based on material batachs can soes and quantity , also u pick ur quntity batch, and click on copy icon , so system copy the batchs and delivry line , cheek picking line item will batch spilt. ofter line item of batch spilt u can enter quntity , and do ur process,

MI10 with batch management problem

While doing MI10, I am gettting error message as "Batch for material 12345 plant AB 0001 DE doesnot exist". Pls advice how to resolve this error urgently. Thanks.

if you found a batch in a location where this batch has never been, then the storage location segment of the batch is missing (no entry in MCHB for material/plant/batch/storage location combination)
. Before you can post the MI10 you have to create this segment.
Make sure that the storage location segment for the material is in place as well (table MARD)
This can be maintained in MMSC.
You can add the storage location segment to the batch with MSC1N

Batch Creation without classification

Hi all,
I have activated batch management for Material A,
When i do MIGO system is asking for Batch i am also entering some Batch say 1023
But i have not gone to MSC1N where we create Batch for particular material.
without creating there, i directly gave some batch 1023 in MIGO screen Batch field system is not throwing any error
just warning is showing, without classification if i create batches is there any issue??
But system is showing those batches in storage location and also in stock overview like Material A 1023 Batch

Shall i follow the path and create new movement type copying from 101 so that the enduser can use that particular movement type for that particular material type, other wise for remaining materials also while doing GR, system will ask for Batches
If suppose i want to return the material can i use 122 or i have to create a new Mvt type copying from 122 to some other for that material type
so that i can get a clear idea that how much received using mvt type which was copied frm 101 and Returned using mvt type copied frm 122.

Batch Split At the time of GR

PO is craeted with a material and a specific batch for the material.Now the problem is the vendor sometimes delevers the material lot wise ..It is nedded to craete a separate batch at the time of the GR Against the particular PO each time.

Acrobat Batch Plug-in and accessing user input parameters

I have written a plug-in for acrobat 9 and need to retreive the value stored in the "select output location" field from the default "edit batch sequence" dialog.
How can I get a handle to the "edit batch sequence" dialog and the dialog's user input fields and their respective values?

I don't know if this will help you out, but remember that a batch sequence (.sequ) is finally just a plain-text file.
If you know the name of the batch and the location of the sequences folder, you can probably write a small tool to read it in, parse it and figure out the output folder yourself.
For example, here's a very basic batch sequence I've created. It just calls a JS method on each file:

How to change the location of all fotos in the iPhoto library?

my iPhoto 11 library is stored locally on my macbook.
however, my fotos (the actualy bits) are stored externally on a NAS box.
(or in other words: option "Importing: [ ] Copy items to the iPhoto Library" is not checked)
recently i purchased a timecapsule and i now want to move all fotos from the NAS box to the timecapsule.
i am looking for a way to batch-change the location of all fotos from let's say "/Volumes/MyNas/..." to "/Volumes/MyTimecapsule/...".
can this be done? any ideas?

Not really unless you search the forums and find the older post describing how to hack the SQLite database to accomplish this
Or use Aperture which can do this easily
However if you are using your Time Capsule as a Time Machine bakcup volume it is not a good place to put your photos - if you do you have no backup of them which means that sooner of later you will lsoe them - and sooner or later TM will fill the volume and make it impossible to add photos
