    There isn't a monthly charge.

You probably using a 5W charger. Use the 10W charger that comes with your iPad.

  • Why my ipad 2 battery won't charged to 100 but only 50

Hi guys, I just bought my iPad 2 a month ago and now realized it that the battery life only 50 . It was 100 percent when I first charged . Then it dropped to 90 , 85, 75 NOW 50 . I bought my iPad with my dad but his iPad doesn't seem to have this problem .

    Have you read this:
    http://www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html
Unless someone else has another idea, all I can suggest now is that you take your iPad to an Apple Service Center.

  • Battery will not charge. Computer runs only off adapter.

A few days ago my battery quit charging and my Powerbook 1.5GHz G4 will run only off the adapter. The computer shuts off when it is unplugged and will not boot unless it is plugged in. I tried resetting the Power Managment Unit by unplugging the cable and battery and holding the power button for 5 sec. nothing changed. This is a battery I recieved from Apple for the recall.
Here is system information my computer displays when the battery is in and the adapter is plugged in. I noticed that it recognizes the battery is installed, but it says it is not charging and that the remaining battery capacity is zero.
    Battery Information:
    Battery Installed: Yes
    First low level warning: No
    Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 3781
    Remaining Capacity (mAh): 0 <-----------
    Amperage (mA): 0
    Voltage (mV): 8806
    Cycle Count: 225
    AC Charger Information:
    AC Charger (Watts): 65
    Connected: Yes
    Charging: No <------------

Something is suspicious about those numbers. 3781 looks like the capacity of a brand new battery. If you manage your battery perfectly per Apples directions, after 225 cycles, you should be along the curve to hit 80% capacity by 300 cycles.
There are only 4 components to the charging circuit - the power adapter, the dc-in card, the battery, and the logic board. Since the power adapter runs the system, you'd assume it's OK. Do you have access to anyone with the same battery or an Apple store or Apple Authorized Service Provider where you could check to see if indeed the battery has failed? Here's Apple's US (you don't indicate where you live) service locator: http://www.apple.com/buy/locator/service/ . If it's a dc-in card problem, it costs around $100, and if it's a logic board problem, it costs more.

  • My brand new mac book pro battery won't charge to 100% it only charges to 99%. What's wrong with it ad how do I fix it?

My new MacBook pro won't charge to 100% battery it will only charge to 99%. Please help!

Nothing is wrong, that is normal.  If you let it drop below 93%, it will recharge back to 100%.  It is a feature to prolong the life of the battery.

  • IPhone will not charge from wall socket only from Laptop or Computer!

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
My IPhone will charge sometimes and sometime it wont:
I mean like sometimes it will charge from the wall socket and sometimes it wont!
It will go so far as to turn off because of no battery life! Then I plug it in to the Laptop and it starts charging!

I have had this problem for some time. It applies to both a wall charger (the one that came with iPhone and a third-party model) and a car charger (third party). Both wall and car chargers are rated at 1000 ma which should be enough power. Yet when the battery charge goes below a certain level the phone will not charge from wall or car charger, but it will charge from a computer.
I did some research on USB power. Per specification, a USB client (the iPhone) cannot draw more than 100 ma from the USB host (charger or computer or hub) unless it asks for and gets permission to draw more current. (This is so it does not interfere with other USB devices connected to the host.)
Inexpensive wall chargers do not contain any computing elements. They short the D+ and D- lines together. This makes it impossible for a client to negotiate a higher current draw, so the iPhone, working per the USB standard, limits itself to 100 ma. When connected to a computing device such as a computer or USB hub, the iPhone can negotiate a higher current, up to the 500 ma currently allowed by the USB standard.
This begs the question, why can't the iPhone charge on 100 ma when the battery is almost completely discharged? After all, when the battery has more charge, the iPhone will charge nicely from a wall charger. Perhaps someone has some insight into this aspect.
There is evidently a new USB standard for wall chargers that will fix this issue. Both the host and client must implement in order for it to work. (I haven't read the standard, but suspect it involves the client detecting that the D+ and D- lines are shorted together.) Obviously, either the charger or my iPhone 3G don't comply with this new standard. Maybe the iPhone 3GS does? Or maybe we have to wait for another iPhone model that has the hardware that complies with the new USB wall charger standard.
Meanwhile I have to be careful not to fully discharge my iPhone battery when I am away from a computer. I recently went on a 30-day trip and had no problem because I charged the phone every night. Of course, I did not use it much because it was an international trip and AT&T roaming rates are horribly expensive.

  • HP 6910p batter not charging

My laptop battery is brand new but it does not charge properly.
It reaches 60% and then stucks (then it sucks)
Battery is new. I bought it from hp shop in Pakistan.
I am very worried. Please help

Couple things to try. 1. A hard reset and battery recalibration:

    2. Go into the Device Manager and uninstall the battery then reboot. This resets the battery smart chip driver:

Straight to the Apple Store. It appears you got a defective battery.

  • MBP not charging till 100%, and the battery lasts only for 1.5 hrs

I have a MBP which I purchased in 2009 July, I have noticed when I charge my MB the last goes up to only 97% and the battery lasts only for about an hour and a half. I am still under warranty till 2012.
How much is to to change the battery at apple, or is it covered under the warranty and how long will it take.

Hi farazthambi: There may not be any reason to change your battery. Check out the Apple articles below for your issues.

  • IPhone 6 will not charge to 100%?

it will get to roughly 97% and then stop. And only once I have turned it off then on will it say 100%. What's wrong?

Probably nothing. The per cent is only mostly accurate. If the phone is working fine and you're getting decent battery life, I wouldn't worry about it.
Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the apple appears? It might not help but it can't hurt.

  • MagSafe LED Green, but Battery Not Charging to 100%

I got my MBP 15" (the "low"-end version) about 3-4 weeks ago. About a week ago, I noticed that when working on my computer with the AC adapter plugged in, it charged up to 98% (according to both CoconutBattery and the Mac itself) and then stopped; the day after, it only charged up to 96%. That same day, I had the entire MBP replaced because of an issue with a faulty latch, and though I mentioned the battery % issue at the Geek Bar, I was told it isn't a big deal and should be taken care of by virtue of the replacement MBP. However, 2 days after, I notice that once again, my battery charges to only 98% and then stops; again, the MagSafe LED is still green as if it were fully charged.
Is this a problem/will it keep degrading? Or is it just normal? Is there any way to fix this?
    Thanks,
    ~Ethan

Hi EthanRT: This is perfectly normal, battery behaviour. There is an explanation in this Apple article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1909?locale=en_CA

  • Sony E4 will not charge to 100%

When charging the phone up to 98, 97, 93%, but not 100%.
In the workshop changed - battery, usb cable, charger and made the update software. The first few recharges the battery has reached 100%, but after the update to Android - proposed by Sony, it appears the problem of incomplete charge. I tried with another charger (Sony), but has no effect. If the battery is charged to 98% and move the cable usb port then you can load up to 100%. Any idea what could be the problem and how to solve?Sorry for bad English - not my native language.

Check this topic at first: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/Facing-problems-with-abnormal-battery-and-shutdown/m-p/320375#U320375
If it doesn't help, I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.
    How to backup?
If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

  • Powerbook battery does not charge over 30 percent

Hi folks, a recent issue has just occured and I'm not sure if it's fixable without purchasing a new battery.
Basically, from the looks of it the battery fully charges up to 30%, and after that it starts to trickle charge (confirmed via ibatt). I know the battery itself is healthy, aving checked via ibatt and capacitymeter itself, but I can't seem to force it to charge the remaining percentages.
I've tried re-calibrating the battery (which woiuldn't make sense, since it's only charged to 30%) and resetting the pmu, but still no go. I've had the battery since 2004.
Any help will be appreciated. I can only get an hour out of the battery at the moment
