Batteries inserted but doesn't register on the computer help!
Help.
My adapter chord is attached to my macbook right now. batteries intact. however on my screen on the top right hand corner, the battery icon has an X on it, meaning NO BATTERIES detected. i turn my laptop arnd and press the battery power indicater button at the back. Its flashing, so it means low batt.
ALso the LED light on the mag safe is GREEN which means its not chargning when it should be.

i thought i should share my battery experience. One day everything was fine and the other my MacBook wouldnt recognize the battery. It just showed X in the upper right corner. I could still use the computer using the power cord though. Anyway next day i went to the Apple Store to tell them about my issue. I did not have an appointment by the way. The guy just asked what was wrong and after agreeing that it was a battery issue he just simply replaced it. I signed replacement form and left the store after maybe 10 min. I hope Apple's customer service will stay the same with the expansion.
It looks like you have the same battery problem i had. Just visit your nearest Apple Store and they will help you. Hope u will have the same experience with them like i did.

I'm very disappointed with Apple products! I was 15 days without my Iphone 5, because it stopped working and the had to be replaced by authorized apple. Then i bought an iphone 5s in two days it stopped working. Doesn't read the sim card. I call to Apple suport and discovery that the model A1533 is not warranted in Brazil and need to be replaced, because there is a hardware problem. In a moment i don't have anyone Phone. Why Apple does not send other equipment equal to authorized to exchange my Iphone, because in Brasil doesn't have the same model? I liked a lot this Apple phone, but i can't use, i have one brand new, but doen'st work. I don't have anybody in USA to exchange in one Apple store. Please help me!

My Contacts program appears to open, but doesn't display on the screen (it appears to be sitting just above the top right hand corner). any suggestions on how to get it back?
Launch Contacts, then on the "Window" menu select "Zoom". That should maximise the window and give you access to the bottom-right corner where you can resize it, and the bar at the top which you can drag around.

after i update the 10.10.2 OS X Yosemite my iPhoto stops working. In the warning that appears when I try to open the app says that happened a mistake because of this update. I reinstalled the app but doesn't work anyway. Please, HELP!
I already tried that but it doesn't work. Appears a warning saying: "See the developer to make sure that iPhoto works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install all available updates in the application and OS X."

Arial is loaded but doesn't appear in the font picker window. I also get the message 'cannot find or create the font arial,bold. some charecters may not display or print correctly.

n the correct place. As I mentioned before, I am having the same trouble with TrebuchetMS.
I have tried font applications such as font expert and suitcase, still no luck.
The fonts are recognised in applications such as Illustrator.

My 6th gen nano has suddenly stoped syncing. It goes through the motions but doesn't pick up the latest dowloaded tunes from the itunes store.
The ipod shows on iTunes and it says it's syncing, but no content is transfered.

CC works fine on the Mac laptop but doesn't download to the PC desktop
Strange. It works fine on the laptop (Mac, OSX Mavericks) but doesn't download on the PC desktop (Windows 7) I also have upstairs. The CC Install App downloads, but whenever I click 'download' on the CC Website nothing happens, no progress bar--no nothin'! Any ideas? I've tried msConfig and disabled non-essentials and rebooted, disconnected the router and hard-wired it in the event the firewall was blocking the data (I didn't wanna mess with port forwarding). I'm at a loss here gang. I am a student and use After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop regularly and need to have the access when my brother uses the laptop!

To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse or trackpad. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
When you post your response, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the frontmost window.
⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen.
Drag the screenshot to the Trash after you post your reply. -
Whenever I try to sync my ipod touch, it doesn't work. The computer seems to get hung during the back up stage. It says it is backing up the ipod but nothing happens, for hours. I eventually have to interrupt it and give up.
I have the latest itunes.
I tried resetting sync history.

Remove all of the contact and calendar information from Outlook.

This doesn't seem to make sense for my situation. I don't sync anything between outlook and my ipod touch.
I have no other USB devices connected to my computer.
I have no other Windows users on my computer - only me and I am the administrator. However on my diagnostic, it said this user is not the administrator. Weird.
So I have tried to follow that you referred me to, but still I haven't got it working yet. Do you have any further suggestions? -
My iPod just randomly deleted all my music, but I no longer have the computer where I synced it to. Can I still get my purchased tracks if I download iTunes on another computer?

I am having problems with Firefox. When I click on the shortcut, or the .exe file nothing happens. I check task manager to see if it is running and it does not show Firefox is running.
But when I shut down the computer then the browser shows up right before the computer shuts down. I have tried starting the browser in safe mode and the same thing happens.
