Battery discharged without the indicator going down - ever see that before?

I notice that my iPhone 3G had been going for about 2 days without recharging. I looked at the usage in the settings panel, and I had used it for about 6 hours and it was running for about two days.
But the battery indicator was still showing full.
Anyway, shortly after that, with no "low power" warnings at all, the iPhone shut-down by itself.
When I hooked it up for charging it was in the red "basically no charge" zone and then recharged normally.
Has anyone ever seen this happen before?
Also, I want to confirm something. If you have a full-or-mostly-charged iPhone 3G what color is the battery level supposed to be in the home display with the icons and black background?
My batter indicator is showing just white there. It shows green when in an app, but it is showing plain white when at the home screen. I thought it had been showing green before. Had it always been showing white there?

By reset you mean hold the home button down while powering off? I did that this morning and will wait and see.
Thanks for reminding me about the battery logo color. For some reason I thought it was green all the time and something had gone wrong.

Hi Jay,
Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.

is the problem from Nokia Headset or from the mobile itself?

I think this is Normal.
Otherwise It wouldn't do your hearing much good if you set the volume to maximum and then plugged in your headset

how ever the ms1 nolonger existis in the domain....

Can you tell more about your domain configuration, and about ms1, was it configured as part of a cluster ? Since when is it not available. Were all the servers restarted after ms1 was down.. Does your config.xml still contain reference to ms1 ? if you remove it.
The file running-managed-servers.xml also keeps track of the active managed servers, ensure that ms1 is not listed in it, and if it is there, remove the entry from this file, or delete this file before starting the admin server.

What Happens to Scheduled reports if the environment goes down

Hi guys,
Have a basic question about scheduling. If a report is scheduled to run at 7 AM on Sunday only, and the environment goes down ( rather , is taken down ) for maintenance, and comes back up at 8 AM, will the reports scheduled to run at 7 AM , run or will they skip to the next schedule?

Is there a requirement to restart the JMS/Weblogc Server everytime when the DB goes down?

Question:
When the Database is shutdown gracefully everything was fine.
But when the Database is brought down with shutdown abort the MDB consumer will never consume messages from the topic again. And we need to restart the WebLogic Server in order to get the messages consumed again.
So is there a requirement to restart the JMS/Weblogc Server everytime when the DB goes down? If not, what type of failures will require the JMS/WLS restart?

On a DB failure, a WL JDBC store service will make a brief attempt to reconnect before shutting itself down along with any services that depend on the store.
It isn't necessary to restart the entire WebLogic Server JVM to bring the affected service(s) back if you can use the Automatic Service Migration feature. ASM can automatically restart a failed service on a different WL Server in the same cluster, and/or can try a restart-in-place for the service if the service's original host WL Server JVM is still running. The Automatic Service Migration (pdf) white-paper has a thorough discussion of this area.
In addition to ASM, there's also a "whole server migration" option that can automatically restart or migrate an entire WL server.

Services of all the databases goes down

Hi ,
2 days back, Services of all the databases goes down on one of the PROD server.
When i tried to start the services using SRVCTL command .
I was getting the error below.
oracle@shbaorc07b bin]$ srvctl status database -d EDW
PRKH-1010 : Unable to communicate with CRS services.

after this error, i came to know that there is some problem with the services.
When i try to start the crs services, was not able to start the services
as a root user user,
I run the below command.
crsctl start crs
to my surprise the services of crs was not coming up,
Finally I have to start the server and all the cluster services came up.
I want to find out why this was happen, i need to find the bottle neck so this should not happen again as this is a PROD server and lots of prod database are residing on this server.

Every day the Internet goes down

The Internet goes down. I got told it was the router not strong enough to stream everything in my household so I bought a $300 router....and still have problems!!!

Does your Internet connection actually "go down" (i.e. the green lights on the AT&T modem/residential gateway turn red or go dark)? or is it a bandwidth issue (too much streaming and everything studders or slows down)?- Same with wired devices vs wireless?- All devices, laptops, phones, tablets affected at same time?

However, I'm not aware of any current or remaining problems. I have a mid 2010 iMac and solved the problem by sticking with a total of 12 GB RAM (4 GB OEM original and 2 x 4 GB added from OWC). So, if you're not sure, contact OWC - they were actively working on the problem last year and if you buy 16 GB from them and they don't work, you can easily return it. Or, be super safe, and stick with a total of 12 GB - I'm finding that 12 is really quite enough even though I do a fair amount of photo, graphics, and video editing.

The PC goes down

I have MSI-865PE-NEO2-PLS with Pentium 4 2,8 and Radeon 9500pro XP pro Sp1 Memory 1G. I use Raid 0+1
When I play games ex. F1 2002, Collin Mc Rae 4 and other games mulle meck the game disappearing and I’m back to the desktop or the PC goes down. If I leave the game for a wile the whole PC going down.
I have installed everything from scratch but and have only the game on it. I still have the problem.
I suspect Radeon 9500pro.
Is there others who have the same problem.

OK The Radeon9500pro was bad. Probably it was overheating when the cooling pasta had disappeared. They said that they had a mountain of broken cards, hmm…
I got 9800 pro instead now and every works find. Anyway I’m ordered a new Enermax Noisetaker Series 470W so now I going to get enough power.
I can’t understand that Nvidia Geforce have so bad TV out, the screen don’t get the whole way out horizontally. You need TV-tool to get it right. Strange. ATI doing it find.

I have 3G iphone since 3,5 years now, what happened yesterday for the 1st time since ever - is that the phone has switched off itself even when was charged n since then it refuses to reboot ! Indeed, application says - Enjoy your jailbroken phone ! What would that mean ? Any chanses to get that phone On ? (or does it mean the phone gone old n i should get a new version of iphone ?)
