Battery gauge showing empty when there's lots of charge left

I have a new 80GB 5G and after about 4 hours the battery indicator shows red and almost drained, but I've watched over 4 hours of video after that before the thing actually dies. What can I do to make the battery indicator at least a bit more accurate? It at least shouldn't be red unless it REALLY needs charge?

There's nothing really that you can od about it, if
anything, a restore (a restart first). This happens
to me though too. I recently used my iPod during a
hockey tournament trip on a charter bus, and played
my iPod through the VCR of the bus. I had maybe like
an almost red bar of life left on my iPod. It was
green, but 1 or 2 notches lower would have been red.
I got through about 1 and 3/4 movies before it
"died". After disconnected my iPod from it (right
after it "died") I went back to my seat, turned it
on, and listened to music for another half hour or
so.
So what you're seeing is pretty normal as far as I
can see. I remember a specific time when I had half
battery life left onhte gauge and was watching videos
on it with my friend (not connected to tv) and shot
down to red quite fast, but we got through 2 movies
and maybe more in the red zone.
Ok, cool. That was my main concern (whether this was normal and others had the same thing happen). Wow. Well, that's annoying but also presumably something they could improve via software. So, I'll just leave feedback for Apple on it and go happily on my way. As long as it's normal I'm not worried. Just seemed strange, especially since on my Nano, the battery gauge is pretty darn accurate.

Copy the iTunes folder from the disk to the Mac, and the iPhone backup to the right place on the Mac (Google for "iphone backup location"). Then when you restore you can reload the last backup.

My iphone will show 1% and then 0 and go off. I can't turn it off again because it shows the battery is dead. When I plug in the charger for 5 or 10 seconds, it might show 40% battery. When I unplug it, I have 40%!! Why does it go dead for no reason

My iphone 5 battery life at the most inconvenient times drains down till the phone turns off. When I plug in the charger for just 5 or 10 seconds, it will often show 35 - 45% left! I unplug the charger immediately and I have 45% battery life! That means I always have to have a charger with me in case it quits! I can't always do that.

The % counter isn't always accurate.
I'd reset the phone, which might help make it more accurate. (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears).
You might also try restoring the phone from a backup.

AdminExplorer won't automatically resize when there are lots of folders

On one of my portal pages there is an iView based on a modified AdminExplorer layout set. It is modified so that the folders are not displayed in the main area - only in the left hand tree area.
The iView is set to automatically resize. So when there are more files, the iView gets bigger instead of scrolling.
However, when the size of the folder tree increases (e.g. by opening subfolders in the tree area), the iView does not resize. Instead, a scroll bar appears for the tree area.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Message indicator shows messages when there are none

How to correct the envelope indicator at the top of the screen that shows the number of messages to be 3 when the message & email inbox is empty? I have tried shutting the unit down but it still shows 3 messages and there is none. Help, thanks.

Stacked bar chart showing zeros when there is no data

Hi,
I am developing a stacked bar chart which plots month vs sales of 3 different products.
I am showing data points and the total sales on chart. Every thing looks good except the zeros displayed on the chart if there are no sales for a product for a particular month... how to get rid of these zeros ? i mean how to display the value only if there is some data ?

Sounds like you have a left outer join from your product table to the sales data. Thus product is listed even when no data present.
Try changing join to Equal

One of my folders are showing empty however there should be so many messages/mails in it. Please help beacuse that is my business folder.

My email has several subfolders and one of them is named as GLOBAL INTERIO. Whereas the mails in the folder are not displayed and folder is empty. Please help. Its my business folder and has all very very important messages. When i cross check if the folder in YAHOO mail directly it displays all mails there.

What to do when there is lot of packets pending for processing in queue

Hi,
In our application, we have service bus queue, one of the Web APIs (REST) picks the data from devices and puts into the Queue. The worker role picks the packets and process it.
To improve the speed of processing, what are the options available?
There are too many packets laying in the queue for hours.

Please try to handle your queue message in parallel. Base on my experience, you can create a pool of threads process. Every thread could pick the queue message and handle it. After finished it, you can discard the message or do other actions.

"Recent calls" bagde showing up when there are no missed calls

Sometimes I can see a badge with a number on the recent calls icon but there are no missed calls. Any ideas why?

Try a resest: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Time Machine deleting backups, says disk is full when there's lots of space

I recently successfully duplicated the sparse disk image bundles for two computers to a 1TB drive. Time Machine has been working just fine for weeks with this new setup and was backing up normally.
Then I began getting "Disk is full" errors and Time Machine is saying it is deleting back ups to create more space. This is confusing as the disk says there is over 740 GB available -- our back ups are not even totaling 200 GB combined.
How can I remedy this?

I realized last night, after I shut everything down for a tornado warning form Hanna - no tornado..., that the spaces in the disk name were your immediate problem.....sorry
In addition to dragging the file, you can also type '\' as an escape character before things like spaces to say treat them as part of the name not, as in the case of a space, as a separator.
In your latest error message the term 'socket' implies possibly a link to use of a wireless connection. I seemed to have no trouble using a wireless link to re-size yesterday. I was pointing to a USB drive attached to the TC, not the TC's internal disk. You'd think it wouldn't make a difference, but......
I didn't want to mess with the live sparsebundles on the TC drive, and had copies for experimentation on a USB drive on the TC.... But today I tried it on the TC's drive via wireless and it works.
You might try a direct connection via Ethernet cable if you can.
In addition hdiutil has a -verbose option which you can add to the command line that gives additional detail and may yield a clue to the problem. It also had a -debug option that provides even more voluminous output which the man page says is "- debug and -verbose generate almost entirely independent outputs."
The format is like this:
hdiutil resize -size nnnG -verbose /path...to..sparsebundle
The -verbose and/or -debug go after the resize verb.
The -debug output is truly humongous! Try -verbose first if you need the diagnostic output.
These might help us get you going.

Month view Calender shows dots when there are no data

In the month view calender, you should only see dots where you actually have an appointment. I have dots where I have no appointments. I tried a reset and a total delete of data. When I go back to synchronising with Itunes, the dots came back. How can I solve that problem?

They don't negate non-client results -- your query does because it is using inner joins. Inner joins drop rows in the "left" table if there is no matching row (based on the join condition) in the "right" table.
The SMS_G_System_DESKTOP_MONITOR probably does not have any rows for your non-client resources and so the entire row gets dropped. That's how inner joins work. If you don't want this to happen, then you need to use an outer join -- typically a left outer
join is what you want. This is all SQL specific and has nothing to do with ConfigMgr. It also has nothing to do with SSRS.

Why is the message 'Charging is not supported with is accessory' showing up when I plug it in charge :/ it's a brand new phone and brand new charger.

My phone is brand new and so is the charger and this message is showing up its also showing up on my boyfriends iPhone 3s which is not new :/ can anyone tell me why?

have you tried a different USB cable? If so and the issue remains, can your iPhone recharge using your boyfriend's charger. The charger might need to be replaced.
