Battery is discharging very fastly

My Q5 heats up suddenly and this accompanies a sudden discharge of the battery.
when looked up for the device usage, the PIM services consume most of the CPU usage.
How to overcome this problem ? please suggest

if PIM sync is causing it, try removing an email accoun and see if it gets better
if its new, then it can take a day or two to sync everything up

Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are facing issue with battery discharging very fast in your Lenovo s510p laptop.
Check if there are high energy consuming applications/ processes running.
Disable things such as Bluetooth if you aren't using.
Reduce screen brightness.
Perform a battery gauge reset by: go to start search and type power manager, switch the mode to advance.
Go to battery tab and select battery maintenance, select perform reset under battery gauge option.
Also try to reinstall the power management and check for the issue.
Click here for the power management if the operating system is windows 8.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Then see if placing the iPod in airplane mode when in standby helps.
- Reset all settings

Hi, I had my iPhone 4S and I'm recently upgraded it from 7.0.5 to 7.0.6 and I found the battery drain up very fast if compare to iOS 7.0.5. Besides, I also unable to fully charger my phone to 100% now - max is 85% with phone either in airplane mode or switch off totally

Try killing the battery (Let it drain---turning on all the settings, playing a video, and having the brightness up kills it faster), then let it fully charge from there. Let me know if that works.

Poke around the settings. There's a lot of notifications turned on that you may not need. There's also the backgroun app refresh that will be using battery and the background updating of apps.
So turn stuff off, if it doesn't help another thing that you can try is to go into the settings and reset all settings. Which is a bit of a pain because you'll need to retweak everything, but sometimes starting fresh can clear glitches

My Iphone batterie get discharge very fast

Help me please my Iphone batterie is getting discharge very fast in half hours of use it shutdown but the batterie indicator show 70% but if I try to turn it on again the indicator is at 2 or 3 %

Well, a reset and then a restore are the last two steps in user troubleshooting. If those don't work, then the last alternative is to make a call to Apple or to the provider in your country is there is no Apple Store. Nothing else we can help you with.

Brand new iPhone 6 battery life dropping very fast and charging even faster

my brand new iPhone 6 that I have just recently started using the day before has a surprisingly bad battery life. whrn first turning on the phone to use the battery life only last 1-2 hours with average use. when the battery died this morning I pluhe'd the phone into charge and the battery is charging very fast already at 25% and only being charging for about 15-20 mins. 1. What apps show on settings - general - usage - battery usage?
2. How many apps have permission to use cellular data?

How long are you using internet for? Are you using WiFi or mobile data? Are you watching video on websites? There are many variables that could explain a perfectly natural battery drain. As I said previously you should try recalibrating the battery. My phone used to drain by mid-afternoon with little to no use until I found out about recalibrating. Since then its been fine and its something I do at least once a month.

You should know that the battery working time depends on the notebook usage. Running powerful applications and the high usage of HDD, graphic card, CPU, ODD or high display brightest decreases the battery working time!
At the other hand the battery performance will decrease during the time this means the older the battery is the lower would be the performance
My old battery is dead I can use the notebook only for 1 min with battery power.
In such cases only the battery replacement can help.

I have updated to amber (latest update) and it's make my battery down very fast. One night I make it full charge and next day when I wake up it's about 82% battery only.

i would have suggested at least a soft reset, but since your volume down key is broken that rules that out. if you wish to get the button fixed then i suggest that you visit your local Nokia Care point for inspection.

I have an iPod touch 4th gen. and i love it. The problem is that the battery dies very fast. It will be completely charged and then 15 minutes later after facetiming or something it will be almost dead. But, when i turn it off it charges back up a little How do I fix this? Help? I use my ipod for school and i cant use it much when the battery is almost dead.

It would be a good idea to have the techs at the Apple store genius bar test the iPod Touch and see if the battery is failing...that is a very fast drain problem.
