Battery - just keeps on charging!help!
I have an ipod Mini and the battery always lasts 2-3hours before it goes dead (which I always thought was a short life). I charge it on a plug adapter and it usually takes a couple of hours to fully charge to 'charge complete', however, when the battery last died on me, I've ad it charging for over 24hours, and it still hasn't shown "charge complete", and whenever I switch it on, it lasts 10 minutes and runs out straight away. Do I just keep on charging it for another 24hours?!or do I take it to an apple store?
If it is still under warranty take it to Apple. If it isn't, check out other battery replacement sources. It will be much cheaper.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Since you did not say how long the battery lasts I am nut sure the battery is the problem. -

Sometimes i sleep and the my iphone is charging and of course the battery became full after two or three hours, and definitely i will not wake up in the midnight to just disconnect the charger, please i need your help.This is considered normal use. I think everybody does this, including myself. It's not something to worry about in the least bit.
Just remember to complete a full charge cycle (allow the phone's battery to discharge to 10%-20%, then charge uninterruped to 100%) once a month and you'll be fine.

Bring it in for service. Anytime hardware test detects an error, that's an indication the service department needs to fix it.

Windows Windows XPTry the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost
Force an app to close: Hold down the On/Off button for a few seconds until a red slider appears,
then hold down the Home button until the app quits.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod
If still problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

When I try to access my email I can see mail the preview page but when I click to go to inbox it bounces back out to my password again. I re-enter password and it does the same again. I've found only way to access is if I clear cookies and history first which obviously I would rather not have to do everytime. Anyone got any answers for this one please.Hello,

I put my iphone to charge for about an hour. After an hour I found that the battery exploded. It literally exploded pushing the back cover off the whole thing. That is crazy... iphones explode?? what if this happened in my pocked and some nasty liquids going all over.
Please let me know what do I do next about it. 1 year warranty is gone but it is not my fault the thing exploded. Should be some kind of hardware issue. I found on the internet that this happens quite often.I had the same thing happen to my iPhone but much less extreme. The back had popped away from the frame at the top, below the headphone jack. I tried to push it back but it would not stay. My first thought was that this was attributed to a bad/bloated battery. I took it in to my local Apple store where it was diagnosed as having a defective back. I brought up my bloated battery suspition with the Genious who instantly shrugged it off. The back was defective and that was it.
A new back was ordered and when it came in, I took the phone in for the back to be replaced. The new Genious went back to their service area with the phone, emerging a few minutes later stating that the back was not the issue...it was a bloated battery which had pushed the back off. They ended up replacing the phone under warranty.
Yours is very extreme since on mine, only one corner of the back was pushed away. I certainly hope you can get Apple to correct it without charge since this is clearly an issue with a bad battery and a dangerous one at that. Best of luck to you. -

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If you've tried the basic troubleshooting steps (restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new), and you've tried charging from a wall socket and these all fail, then you have a hardware problem.
If your unit is still in warranty, you will be eligible for a replacement with a refurbished unit free of charge. If you are out of your warranty period, you will be eligible for an out of warranty exchange which will cost the equivalent of 200 US dollars. -

My iPad Air is not charging. I have it plugged into an electrical outlet with the charger it came with. The battery icon keeps changing from green to white and a message...Accesory May Not Be Supported keeps coming up on the screen. I just purchased it on March 1, 2014 and this is very annoying.
you are using the cable and charger that came with it?
you have charged successfully with them before?
you are under warranty, so I suggest you make an appointment with a genius at the Apple Store and have them look at it. Sometimes the charger plug is faulty. -

Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.

Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.

Hi, I HATE to ask for help with this, but I HAVE looked everywhere and Google searched different wordings and have not found anything similar nor a solution to my problem! My good old iPod 4th-gen charges just fine in any wall outlet, in any house, but when I connect it to my brand new ASUS laptop that has Windows-8 and 3.0 USB ports using the charging/data cable, the charging process just keeps "blinking" BOTH the iPod and the laptop and it will not connect to ITunes and I get "A Device is Detected" message that keeps popping up and going away over and over right above the Windows desktop toolbar. When I go to control panel and select "Devices" it does show the iPod, but for only a split second and than it disappears, but than it comes back again for a split second and than it disappears again and just keeps doing that over and over and over! I have tried resetting the iPod while it is plugged into the laptop by holding the power and menu buttons, that did no good. I also tried uninstalling iTunes and any other Apple stuff listed and reinstalling it all, that did NOT work! The iPod, the laptop and iTunes ARE all fully updated! I AM using a brand new charging/data cable that I just opened up an hour ago (I've learned to keep a few brand new ones around at all times since these piece of garbage rip-off cables hardly last a week, even when you baby them!). I also tried a few old cables, they all do the same thing! I would like to get this piece of junk to connect to my new laptop, even if only once, so that I can change/delete some songs and transfer a few dozen photos,since I haven't been able to do any of that stuff since my old laptop (that NEVER had any problems connecting) died way back in May! lol. I hope somebody knows a fix or solution! Thank You!
