Battery Life is much worse with the new iOS.

My iPhone4 was working fine with the old version, now that I have downloaded and installed 5.0.1 I only get 8 hours of standby time. This is rediculous. I have been waiting patiently for weeks for Apple to address the issue but this has been going on too long. Apple needs to get this fixed ASAP.

the 5.1 is being beta tested currently

Have you run it in a debugger? That will show you exactly what is happening and why.

Your phone is too old to run Siri natively, though there are those who succeeded illegaly by jailbreaking.
Many also resent ever doing it after losing data or exposing their private information to scammers... :-)

I stopped at the local Apple Store. Three salespeople heard my question and they agreed that the email count is not accesssible in iOS 7. Furthermore, it is not possible to control the number of messages held on the Apple device. It was possible in iOS 6, as one of the salespeople demonstrated. Since that is the case, what is the number of emails stored in iOS 7? If it varies, what determines the number that are stored? I do not want to set up an email account with 7000 to 8000 existing emails and wonder what will happen.

It just reboots the device and bolds the system fonts. No harm done. If you don't like it, undo the setting, it will reboot and back to as it was.
