Battery malfunction after new operating system
The new operating system seems really nice, but it needs a patch because there is something wrong with the battery that charges normally 20% or 30% and then it shows full battery but it doesn't last more than an hour.
I'm really worried about it!!! I'm in Colombia (South America)!!!

Sync after new operating system
I replaced Vista with Windows 7 (nice change). But I did not save any itunes files fron the old setup when I did a clean install. I want to transfer the media content that is on the iphone to the pc. Having authorized the pc, when I sync, it doesn't transfer anything, the itunes being essentially empty. How can I get it to transfer from iphone to itunes, songs and purchased apps.
The sync process for iTunes content is a one way transfer process - from your computer to your iPhone.
By not including your iTunes named folder with your computer's backup, you will lost all former playlists, settings, playcounts, etc.
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod or iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. -
I hate the new operating system. Can't connect to wifi in home anymore even after a restore. Rhapsody no longer works on my phone either. Plus the brighth graphics are bothering my eyes even with brightness turned down. Any ideas on why rhapsody doesn't why rhapsody doesn't work anymore?
Contact Rhapsody to see if they have or plan to release an update for the app. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

After upgrading the new operating system on my Droid Razr M it seems some useful features no longer work such as when typing a message the text anticipates the next word and when trying to delete individual messages from a contact, you can no longer tap and hold to select multiple message you have to delete them individually or the entire thread. Is there a way to get these back?
Well, that's kind of embarrassing. And I honestly thought I paid attention to that... It works perfectly now, thank you so much!
As expected, cdm-git also works fine since DMs only work in the root mode as of now.
Just for the record, both type commands output "/usr/bin/startx" and pacman -Q gives "systemd 215-4".

I upgraded my Iphone 4s with the new operating system. After the upgrade was performed all my contacts were lost. How do I recover my phone contacts?
Synch them back from whatever contact manager or cloud service you stored them in.

After installing the new operating system, I can't access the internet from an e-mail request. What' wrong?
Finally gave in and called Apple Support.
1) They had me restart while holding down the Option-Command-P-R keys (this resets the HW apparently. Didn't fix it.
2) Next they had me move my System Preferences folder to the trash. Still didn't fix it.
3) Lastly they had me move all my cache files to the trash and then empty the trash. Restarted and it seems to be fixed now.
I was told that sometimes after an upgrade if you don't "delete all your caches" that there can be problems. I'll have to see if the connection holds up since before the problem was intermittent, but at least now I have a case number and all seems well so far.
I encourage those who are experiencing issues to please call Apple Support - it appears that there is no one fix and it depends on so many different factors. If this issue re-appears I'll be back on the phone with them - plus I'll update this thread.

It sounds like you are trying to send emails but for some reason, thousands show activity. I would start by re indexing the mailbox to help troubleshoot the issue:
1.Quit Mail if it’s open.
2.In ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData, delete any file that begins with “Envelope Index,” such as Envelope Index or Envelope Index-shm.To show your home Library folder, hold down the Option key, then in the Finder choose Go > Library.
3.Open Mail.Mail creates new Envelope Index files. This process may take a few minutes, depending on how many messages Mail is reindexing.

If the issue persists, I would next remove the account, restart the computer, and re add the account:
1.Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts.
2.Select an account, then click Remove.

Removing an Exchange or IMAP account doesn’t permanently delete the account’s mailboxes and messages because they’re stored on the mail server. To retrieve the account’s mailboxes and messages from the server, add the account again in Mail.
To add the account again, click the rather than the as described above and retest the issue.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to open my core productivity apps, namely Skype and Evernote. Twitter, as well, could not start. But interesting quick fix though, I never knew you could do that.

After updating my mac to the new operating system I have had several problems. Now my printer program is not working.
Do you have any suggestions?Start by telling us what printer you hope to use.
Look at the printer manufacturers site to see if they have a 10.9 print driver.
Assuming you have tried to delete & re-add the printer it's possible that the model is no longer supported.
You can also try the printing system reset…(I think 10.9 is the same as the Lion instructions).
