Battery monitor installation failed

ever since this app was available i have never tried using it. always getting installation failed error. all versions dont work and even installing it by not using ovi store will still fail. any ideas? im using n8 pr1.1

for those who are having problem running nokia battery monitor on c5-03 its because the batterymonitor widget file doesnt get installed during installation. you can use sis content to open the nokia battery monitor sis file and extract wrt_power_app.wgz file from it. then install nokia battery monitor and wrt_power_app.wgz both on your phone. reboot and your battery monitor will work. worked for me

  • Installation Fails on Debian Stable 64 bit

    Hi There
I have been trying to install skype for a while. The i386 architecture has already been enabled, and the repositories have been updated. I have repeated the process several times just to be sure.
During skype installation a bunch of conflicts occur and aptitude can only install skype by uninstalling most of my system, at which point I have to abort the installation. I have tried many different packages, including Ubuntu packages, old packages, old static packages, tarballs. Nothing helps. Here is the output from the terminal:

    Hi
Similar error with me: Installation fails due to the missing lib libqtwebkit4:i386 - it cannot been installed:
    root@.../skype-4.3.0.37# aptitude install libqtwebkit4:i386
The following NEW packages will be installed:
      libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0:i386{a} libgstreamer0.10-0:i386{a} libqtwebkit4:i386 libsqlite3-0:i386{ab}
0 packages upgraded, 4 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.
Need to get 9,138 kB of archives. After unpacking 32.7 MB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
     libsqlite3-0 : Breaks: libsqlite3-0:i386 (!= 3.7.17-1~bpo70+1) but 3.7.13-1+deb7u1 is to be installed.
     libsqlite3-0:i386 : Breaks: libsqlite3-0 (!= 3.7.13-1+deb7u1) but 3.7.17-1~bpo70+1 is installed.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:
Keep the following packages at their current version:
    1)     libqtwebkit4:i386 [Not Installed]
    2)     libsqlite3-0:i386 [Not Installed]
    Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]
If I would want to uninstall libsqlite3-0 and change to the i386-version (which would resolve the problem), I would uninstall most of my system...
Skype/MS: Please provide solution, best would be, creating a proper 64Bit-package, so the whole i386-crap could be forgotten...
If anybody has a solution, I would appreciate help, as - unfortunately - for some reasons I kind of depend on Skype
    Kind regards

  • Snow Leopard (10.6.3) Installer Failed, MacBook Shuts off on boot

    Hi all,
So a friend of mine recently bought an OOTB Snow Leopard install Disc from Apple and attempted to install OSX 10.6.3 on his MacBook White (I can't remember exactly what version of OSX he was running before but I know it was 10.5.x). Some time into the Installation, the Installer fails with the screen "Install Failed" and under that it says "Mac OSX could not be installed on your computer" with a big yellow exclamation sign. Under that it says " The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again."
However, when he restarted and tried to boot up, the computer shuts off after getting to the grey Apple screen with rotating gear. I am not sure why the install failed, but I suspect now it has corrupted the old version of OSX which resided on the hard drive, and is causing the startup to fail. I had him boot from the OSX 10.6 Installation media and run Disk Utility and try to Repair his hard drive (Macintosh HD), but the Repair fails and window pops up "Disk Utility stopped repairing 'Macintosh HD'. Disk Utility can't repair this disk. Back up as many of your files as possible, reformat the disk, and restore your backed up files."
The details of the Repair printed the following:
    Verify and Repair "Macintosh HD"
    Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
    Checking extents overflow file.
    Checking catalog file.
    Invalid node structure
The volume Macintosh HD could not be verified completely.
    Volume repair complete
Updating boot support partitions for the volume as required.
Error: Disk Utility can't repair this disk...disk, and restore your backed-up files.
I had him try to run repair a few times to be sure it would not complete, to which he said it failed the same each time. Then I had him try to boot up in Safe Mode, but the boot up was the same, computer powers off after hitting the Apple loading screen. He has confirmed that this could not be due to the battery or overheating. Is there anything else we can try before reformatting the drive? Is there a way to eliminate hard drive failure from the equation and conclude that it is a corrupt OS? I would hate for him to lose all of his data if there are any other options, please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Matt

Invalid node structure requires a robust disk repair utility such as DiskWarrior 4 - The Disk Utility for Mac Disk Repair, Mac Directory Repair
The pre installed Disk Utility app cannot repair this.

  • Reporting Services Installation Failing

    Hi Fellows,
I am trying to install SCOM 2012 R2 reporting services on SCOM Management Server. SCOM Management Server also has a SQL Server 2012 SP1 (11.0.3000.0) SSRS and Database services installed. But SCOM reporting installation fails in between with below errors
and leaves the reporting instance in-useable.

    Hi There,
Also the Account name and password have to be entered below for mappings:
Data Warehouse Action Account - is for the Data writer account.
Data Warehouse Report Deployment Account - is for the Data reader account
The one which is blacked out in the screenshot will be the main SCOM Action account.
So re enter the passwords carefully and accordingly and check and let me know.

  • Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS6 installer failed to initialize on Mac Book Air

    Hi everybody,
I'm trying to install Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS6 for at least a month now.
I have downloaded the .dmg file at the Adobe Website and it starts to initializing the installer, then a error show up:
"The installer could not initialize. Download the Adobe Support Advisor."
There is no Adobe Support Advisor when I clicked on the link. "The Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued" (http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/)
I've tried this many times, but every time being a failure.

    Hi Thomas,
Kindly try the below mentioned link.
Error: "Installer failed to initialize" | Windows
    Thanks,
    Atul Saini

  • Your installation encountered errors. Installer failed to initialize. (CS5.5 upgrade)

I am trying to install CS5.5 on an HP laptop running Windows 7. It is an upgrade version. I had it installed once, but InDesign did not function fully (could not access any tools or choose any of my paragraph style definitions). So I uninstalled and tried again. Now I can't get past the "Finish" window that reads as follows:
    Installation Status
    Your installation encountered errors
Please try restarting your system and installing again
    Installer failed to initialize
Contact Customer Support for further assistance
    <Click> DONE
First let me say that contacting "Customer Support" is ineffectual. They will tell you that it is a tech problem and to contact Technical Support.
Before I began getting this message over and over, upon installation, I would be told that the resolution of my monitor did not meet minimum requirements and needed to be set to at least 1024 x 768. My monitor was set to 1600 x 900.
How can I get CS5.5 Design Premium to install on my laptop? TYSM (in advance) for any help.

CyberAmazon54 I would recommend reviewing the installation logs for the Creative Suite 5.5 software you are trying to install.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret the installation logs at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

  • KDE battery monitor not detecting laptop battery

I am using KDE on my Dell XPS laptop. The default battery monitor that comes with KDE installation is not detecting the laptop battery. It is showing "Battery: Not Present". Because of this I am unaware about the time remaining on my battery. Any solutions please?

Have you tried rebooting *twice*? I've seen this issue but I've always resolved it by rebooting and then rebooting again. (The system goes rather insane on the first reboot and I always think either my hardware is completely screwed or my install of Arch is twisted far beyond the point of insanity. But then on the second boot, it calms down, finds the hardware and carries on quite happily. I've no idea why.)

  • Operations Manager 2012 Reporting Service installation failed again

    Hi dear guys.
i'm an administrator in a company. and our company decided to have monitoring tools for our servers located in two sites.
i started installation of SCOM in Two servers: 1- SQL server 2-Management server, Operations Console, Web Console
all MP's that needed has been installed and configuration completed successfully. then i decided to have Reporting Server too.i did proper tasks and started it with coordination of DBA team. but because of miss configuration in SSRS installing failed. after
repairing SSRS by them installation failed again but reporting Icon appeared in Management console
because of too many communication with DBA team, I installed a SQL server on a separate server(Full Featured) and configured SSRS too. and then started installing SCOM reporting on this server. but it again failed.

I wanted to send whole log but 60000 is maximum allowable character. here's some logs with error event:

  • Hypervisor installation fails after three attempts to complete

My attempts to add the Hypervisor role to a Server 2008 R2 installation on a Dell PowerEdge 310 with a perc 6i/700 raid controller, ends after three reboots with the message, "Three attempts to complete the installation have failed. The installation will
not be attempted again. Please restart the server and try to install the roles, services or feature again." When I add the role again, I get the same error message after three reboots. The installer retracts the installation so there is no role to remove.
I succeeded in installing the dedicated hyper-V server on this exact machine and set up several virtual machines so I doubt there is a hardware incompatibility with the hypervisor role. I succeeded in adding the Hyper-V role on another server (Dell T110)
from the same download of the installation files so I doubt the download is corrupt. The successful installation required 2 reboots. I don't see anything in the ServerManager log that indicates what the problem is.
During the reboot there are things that are supposed to happen, is there a way to find the list and track the activity before I have access to the operating system? I'm feeling there is something minor that's blocking the installation and if anyone has hints
to try I'd appreciate hearing them.
    Thanks

I disabled the two drivers and tried to install the Hyper-V roll again. I set Process Monitor to record the boot action during the re-boot during which the error messages appear. The installation failed and about the time the failure message appeared, There
are a lot of "Results" of "Buffer Too Small" or "Buffer Overflow" in reference to registry entries. Some registry entries refer to AMD64 which is not this computer, this has an Intel processor.
These are two sequential Process Monitor entries:
    1214448    3:26:18.8703957 PM    TrustedInstaller.exe    992    RegQueryValue    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SideBySide\Winners\amd64_microsoft-hyper-v-vstack-synthnic_31bf3856ad364e35_none_c32726034e5ef98f\6.1\(Default)
    BUFFER TOO SMALL    Length: 0
the failure is usually followed by an identical entry:
    1214449    3:26:18.8704093 PM    TrustedInstaller.exe    992    RegQueryValue    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SideBySide\Winners\amd64_microsoft-hyper-v-vstack-synthnic_31bf3856ad364e35_none_c32726034e5ef98f\6.1\(Default)
    SUCCESS    Type: REG_SZ, Length: 30, Data: 6.1.7601.17514
This is getting way more interesting than I want to see!

  • Windows 7 X86 Update patch installation failed ("Updateshandler.log - Update execution failed")

    Hi,
I am using SCCM 2007 R3 at client site, Since from Jan 2015 and for Feb 2015 also i am facing a problem in Windows 7 32bit OS Patch installation failure on Client PC. I am creating a bundle for Windows 7 OS Patch's and targeting these monthly patches to
windows 7 Collection having X86 and X64 bit OS.
From All the Deployed Patches only X64 bit Win 7 PC's are getting successfully Update.
BUT on all X86(32Bit) win 7 OS there was Installation Failed Error. The UPDATES are getting successfully downloaded in CACHE folder on client PC's but while installation they are getting failed. I have tried reinstalling SCCM Client on PC but problem persists.
Checked number of forum's and done WUA re-installtion  as well, Tried downloading new patches for win7 32 bit and deployed again, but no +ve result. WSUS reconfigured and reinstalled and approved all patches again, again no solution.
Updates for all other OS's Like Win 8, 8.1 Server 2003,2008 and 2012 for X86 and C64 all working fine.
Updateshandler.log Giving :---- Update execution failed.
MP DP and all other roles are working fine with SUP role reinsalled.
    Tried:-

    Please anyone help..
    Regards
    Rajiv.

    1. We have tried downloading patch again & again . Try to push them trough SCCM targeting win7 collection having x-86 & x-64 bit OS.
    2. Tried manual installation of . Cab files also on 10 win 7 x-86 PC's but all failing with error code.0x800706f7. This code shows The stub received bad data. In both cases (manual & SCCM )
    3. Even tried downloading .MSU files for same KB article that also not getting installed
    4. Monitored Windowsupdate.log & DISM.log & CBS.log
Handler Fatal: CBS called error with 0x800706f7
warning exit code=0x00000000; call error code=0x80240022
    5. Tried renaming windir/Softwaredeployment folder to windir/Softwaredeployment.log & run SFC /Scannow
0x800706F7 -2147023113 RPC_X_Bad_Stub_Data This can occur after a control selfupdate that has not fully completed and requires a reboot. The controls may need to be reregistered.
This seems related to a problem within Windows, and ConfigMgr is not at fault - Windows has a severe issue which is affecting the servicing stack.
    Try CheckSUR.

  • Need help! Installation Failed of Flash Pro CS4

Sorry for my bad Eglish first.
I downloaded a trial version of Flash Pro CS4 on the Adobe official website and installed it in my Win 7 (x64) using the user account (as an Administrator).
It seems that every step of the installation is fine, except end up with the "installation failed" dialog window as the following snapshot.
(Sorry for the Chinese messages in the snapshot, it says "Installation Failed" and "One or more required components of Adobe FlashPro CS4 failed to install correctly")
I clicked the button on the bottom left for further detailed information, and it showed:

Could soemone please give me a help to solve the problem?
    Thank you

If the video is playing back badly in Premiere Pro from the timeline, then the things I would check would be the program monitor quality - is it set to highest...if you don't know where that it is, click on the 4 horizontal lines in the top corner of the program monitor - make sure highest quality is selected. It also may be a video card issue - are your drivers up to date? If the clips are only playing back badly on the PPro timeline (and anything exported from it), but fine in Windows Media Player - something is up.
As for the frame rate - no, you don't have to work at 24P...as mentioned before, the camera actually records at 29.97 fps, but is able to be played back and edited at 23.976 fps (or 24P)...it's a complicated explanation on how it all works...
If you're going to finish to a regular DVD, then working at 29.97 is the way to go. As for the interpret footage command, highlight the clips in your bin, then right click on them - in the menu, you'll see interpret footage - click on that and a new window should open...you should see a box with a check next to it that says remove 24P pulldown - click it (removing the check) and the footage frame rate should change to 29.97 - then click OK...create a 29.97 sequence (DV NTSC Widescreen 48Khz), and edit away.

and I can explorer and administrate the Reporting Services. The firewall into the servers is off.
    Somebody else have this problem.
    THX.

  • Battery Monitor 2.2 not working after update to be...

Before i updated to Belle, there was no issue with the battery monitor. But after i updated and then installed Battery Monitor, it is kind of stuck on the loading screen for a long long time. it just keeps loading and loading. Dunno what is going on. Pls help.

    Hello,
I had bought N8 on 7 January, 2011....It was working well...I had no battery issues, though battery was not as good enough as my samsung galaxy...But for one month (Current date:13 July, 2012, means about after 1 year and 5 months)...battery got fully failed and died now. I use it just keeping it in charge always...and do my work on internet. Though I am not a very heavy user (2 hrs a day on internet and use apps sometimes)...
When I don't use internet...it works for 30 mints hardly. And when I turn on internet it gets switched off in 2-5 mints.
Since day before yesterday, it is not working even while keeping it is in charge..it gets switched off in 2-5 minutes.
So I am not going to curse NOKIA for this because it won't help me. After belle update even  it was giving backup normally. But just after 4-5 months...it started getting switched off after 30 mint of uses...then after 20 mint...then after 10....and now hardly 2 mints when it is on gprs 2g. I have never used 3g. When i use wifi...it works more than 5 mints but less then 10 mints.
Now...I need suggestion from you guys...should i buy new battery (I dont know about its cost in India, and a pathetic life of NOKIA 8 Phone merely for 1 and half year...stopping me to buy any new one)? Or should I try re-installing Belle from Nokia Suit? Do you think it is a software problem?
I am waiting for your replies with right suggestion....
    Regards
    S.L.
