Battery not charging - any ideas?

Question

My MBP does not seem to be charging the battery.  The AC cord is plugged in and green light showing, "(Not Charging)" shows by the battery icon and when i unplug the AC cord it still shows the same % level????
Any help/ides would be grateful.
