Just bought my z10 early this month and that's less than 2 weeks, but the battery doesn't last even for a whole day.....pls what could have been the problem And how can I solve it before I start regretting my decision

@toyourcee Did You Updated your Phone to a new OS - If Did then the battery will be consumed a lot for the first 48 hours of the Update - After that the Battery will get back to Normal

To help maximize your battery life you can turn off cellular data when not using it, turning your brightness all the way down, also setting your auto lock to 1 minute so if you forget to lock your phone. You could also turn notifications off so that your screen wont go on when you get a notification.

Iphone battery not lasting 1 day

iphone 4 battery, one and one-half years old not lasting throught even 1 day. turned off and on, no help.

took it to apple. they checked battery, it was ok, but they did a dfu (deep firmware upgrade) and replaced the battery (I was wrong on the age - it was still under warranty). Had to re-set it up, but it seems fine now.

In the past month or so my iPhone 5 battery is dying in hours, whereas it used to last all day at least. Also, I am getting constant "message send failures" when texting and frequent dropped phone calls.

Just recently my Iphone 5 battery is dying in a just a few hours, it used to last all day or more. I'm not doing anything different with it, although I have started shutting down apps etc. to conserve battery. I get constant "message send failures and frequently dropped phone calls.

My best bet would be to restore the phone. Back it up to itunes, and then reset it Factory settings. This way, any corrupt software will be removed, and you can start fresh. Make sure you back it up first. By the sounds of it, you are using the phone for business and probably need the data from it. Hope this helps!

I would advise updating to iOS 7. It might improve your battery and the bugs are worked out by now.
If not wanting to update because of the new look, here are some tips:
-Turn off bluetooth when not needed.
-Connect to wifi and turn off cellular data when possible.
-When not around wifi, turn wifi off.
-Keep your screen at around 50% brightness.
-Disbale certain apps or features in Settings<Privacy<Location Services if they are not necessary.
-Close out of apps in the multitasking bar.
-Enable airplane mode when you plan on not using your phone for a while.
Hopefully these tips help you. If your battery does eventually get too bad, you can get it changed out by apple. If youve had your device for under a year, you can take it into an Apple store and theyll give you a new phone in return. Have a good night and good luck!

Do you have a work email account on your iPhone? Is it an Exchange account?
If yes, contact your Exchange administrator in your IT department and have him check your account. He will probably see constant polling from your phone and can help you resolve this.

I have had it stop sending/receiving calls 3 times now... the first two times the problem went away the next day, but this time I am two days out and still not working.
I have not replaced my phone, I am afraid to do it because from another thread that I read, it usually doesn't fix the problem.
Here is the other thread I found: I can't make or take phone calls, but i can message and use data. Has this happened to anyone else? I've gone through three Samsung Galaxy S5's in the past three days, two of which have this problem and one just stopped working all together.
My problem started on day 15 so I couldn't just get a replacement at the store, had to get a rma to get a replacement. If you have only had the phone for 3 days you might want to go to your store and have them replace it with a new one. Me, if I could I would switch to another phone, but it looks like I am stuck with the S5 for now.

1020 Battery not lasting more than 5 or 6 hours so...

I have had my 1020 since they first hit in the US. The drain problem has come and gone. The first month it would die after 4 hours then it would last all day for awhile. Now it is back to the 4-6 hour range. I have everything but Cell turned off, no back ground apps and shut down my apps as I go. I have a strong 4G LTE signal.
I paid $300 for mine on two year contract to help keep the Nokias going in the US. I have seen some people say that they have been able to exchange there's and the new one works better. It is so bad I had to get two rechargeable batteries to make it through a day.
What can I do? At this rate if it doesn't get much better I may end up dumping the phone I love just to get one that can make it through a day with light to moderate use. I have always loved Nokia and have been an early adopter to make sure the phones get the sales to stay alive. I even have everyone in my family getting them.

I do a soft reset when my 920 starts the battery cycle thing. Hold the volume down button and power button down until the phone vibrates, release.
Think I am going to start doing this befor a phone update.

I noticed that the issue only happens to specific user with specific computer. Please do the following checking to narrow down the issue:
1. please update the Outlook client with the latest patches and service packs.
2. disable using Exchange cached mode and check whether the issue happens in Online mode in this computer.
3. Start
Outlook in safe mode to have a try.
4. Perform a clean boot
in your Windows for the new machine.

Says it all in the question really, but just to clarify: Once upon a time I took out a contract and got my very own iphone4s more or less straightaway I could tell the battery charge was faulty, I was told by a member of the genius bar that this was normal, it wasnt normal I could literally watch it count down and it just got worse. It got to the point where I couldnt use the phone anymore so after taking it to various places I had the battery replaced (all in all this cost around £100) and it worked 'normally' for about half a day until the phone suddenly reached 1% and has stayed at this % ever since- not ideal but it would stay on all day and ive managed to use the phone fine. I would keep it charged overnight as i usually would but even after 8 hours of charging it still said 1%, I downloaded battery apps they all told me the battery was empty even when it was still on 1%. Lastnight I decided to update to i.0.s 6.0.2 I kept it on charge to do it but when it went to restart it would not turn back on. Im now stuck with a phone that actually has a new battery but the phone somehow doesn't recognise that it has a battery, I can't restore on itunes as it will not charge at all not even to get the apple symbol. Ive spent alot of money trying to resolve this already and have been told that the battery is not covered with the warranty so I wondered if anyone had any ideas?

Unless Apple replaced your battery, and it appears they didn't, you're pretty much on your own now. Have you tried going back to whoever replaced your battery? That's gonna be your only choice now, because if a third-party replaced your battery, Apple won't touch your phone now.

Nokis 6131 battery not lasting 24 hours

i've owned Nokia 6131 set on 20th Nov'2006, from then there was litte problem.. when i charged the cell by switchin off the cell often its shows on the screen that 'LOCAL MODE' after opening the battery and reloaded it comes in normal mode, and if i charged the cell by switchin on the cell it will no shows "Local Mode". From then i started to charged the battery with switchin on the cell > earlier my this cell was last 1 to 1 and 1/2 dasy but from last week it is not lasting 24 hour even after switching off the cell battery is consuming, i've tried by swithing on power saver on and off both ways but not getting any solution. please guide me, what to do, i m in trouble with my cell (Nokia 6131).

That "up to" 7 hour mark is often a point of confusion for users. I've had my 13" MacBook Pro since the week it became available and a new unibody MacBook for about 10 days. My day-to-day usage gets me anywhere from three and a half hours to five hours based on usage, a full charge will typically last me about 9 hours of actual time (I'll sleep the machine when not in use).
Last night, off a full charge (5147 mAh) with Safari and Mail open, WiFi connected and my backlight at 4 blocks I got 2 hours and 11 minutes of usage (browsing these discussions and responding). This morning, even after having the machine sleeping all night (about 7 hours) I still had 64% battery. So if I had continued my trend of usage in that manner I would have definitely gotten over 7 hours of run time.
However today, as I'm running Adium, mail, Safari, iTunes and a Parallels 5 with several things going in each... I'm at 47% in only about 30-45 minutes of usage.
