Battery on iphone 4 after update to ios 6

The battery of my iphone 4 after updating on ios 6 started to be discharged quickly!

I am seeing the exact same thing on iOS 6.0.1 on my iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
Steps to reproduce:
In Settings:General:Celluar, check to be sure the following is off:
iCloud Documents
iTunes
Passbook Updates
Reading List
Check back to the same screen after 5 minutes (while not on Wifi) and iCloud Documents is back on.
It's burning through data like mad.
I know I could kill iCloud on my devices or turn off Cellular data, but neither is a solution.
Apple, are you aware of this? I think most people assume that users just don't know how to turn this off. That's not the case, it's coming back on by itself.

I cant activate my iphone after updating to 7.1.2. Before this I update my iPhone from 7.0.6 to 7.1.1 everything goes fine. But after update to 7.1.2 I cant activate my iPhone eventhough I use the same Apple ID when I activate this iPhone.

I'm having a problem here, I wonder if anyone else has this problem too and also have a solution for it. so, I tried to restore my iPhone by iCloud backup.. everything seemed to work well until I did chose the backup I want, after that an error pop ups saying something like "Cannot connect to this backup server." or "Cannot connect to server" I don't remember exactly so I was forced to set up my iPhone as new. I did that, everything seemed but when I tried to download some apps I obviously had to log in into my Apple ID... and every time I try to log in into App Store/iTunes store I get this error "Cannot connect it iTunes store".
It never happened before updating to iOS 8.2
(It happened sometime in the past when I tried to log in into app store, but after closing the settings from the task menu and re-open it again it worked)

Playing music on my iPhone after updating to iOS 5.0.1

After updating my iPhone 4 to iOS v 5.0.1 non of the songs I have purchased through iTunes will play on the phone. It is not possible to synch the songs to iTunes and the songs are only visible on the phone. When playing songs the songs on the phone are seemingly playing but no sound comes out. Can anyone help me?

So... Have you tried a Transfer Purchases to get the songs too your computer? Then if they play there, you can delete them off the iPhone, and then sync them back on from iTunes.

ITunes keep saying restoring iPhone after updating to iOS 5

I have just upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5. After updating, my iTunes keep saying restoring iPhone apps. Now I can use my iPhone but without my previous apps. I have also tried closing iTunes and open it again but it still says restoring iPhone apps as soon as it detact my iPhone. Does anyone knows how to solve this problem? By the way, I am using Windows.

I had the same issue with my iPad. The iPad itself thought it was fully updated (had taken me to the iCloud set up etc) but iTunes insisted it was still restoring apps. I closed down iTunes each time via the task manager.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, which didn't help.
What I did in the end was disconnect the iPad while iTunes was still running - without any attempt to eject it. When I then plugged it back in, it came up with an error message along the lines of "An attempt to restore this iPad was interrupted. Do you wish to continue attempting to restore?" I hit cancel, and I was then able to do a manual sync as normal, and all my app data was restored.

hi ya every1...i got two iphones
one is the iphn 3gs 32gb and the other an iphn 5 64gb...
the iphn5 is working perfectly fine but the iphn 3gs 32gb has started giving me problems after updating it to ios6.1...
the notifications dont show up after the phone is locked...!!
and i always have to go and do a refresh on each app to view the messages or emails..

djrepose , did you try switching on Notifications for the Respective apps under Settings of your iphone?
Settings> Notifications > Click the Respective App and select the Notification type there. Hope this helps

Restoring iphone after updating to ios 7.0.4

I just updated my iphone to IOS 7.0.4 and am having trouble restoring from itunes backup. When I click on the restore backup button, it seems to work momentarily, until I get a message stating "could not restore iphone because not enough space is available on the iphone." How do I proceed from here, without having to restore to factory settings? I appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

I would try restoring to factory settings first. You won't lose anything since you have a backup file and you don't have many other options left to you.

I just updated my iphone 3GS to IOS 5. I can see that my phone updated, but my apps, which were backed up on my PC, but did not reload to iphone. When I sync, nothing happens. Thanks for the quick response. I see that now and can/will install one by one. I hadn't seen that before, and thought there was an easier way to get all of my apps back, but this will work.

This is strange because my wife's iPhone 5c did the exact same thing. In one day it was 536MB. The other weird thing is that this happened while the iPhone was not being used. She was at work during this time and her iPhone was off and in the back room. I did call AT&T to ask them about it and they didn't know what happened either. The most they did was to put a note on the account that if we go over our data limit that they will credit it back this month. I've been checking every couple of days and it hasn't happened again. I'm glad I'm not the only one but I wish that there was an explanation.

FYI, no one here works for Apple. We are all users like yourself.
Activation issues are typically the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock. Is that the case? If so, no help can be provided via these forums.

No Photos on my iPhone since Update to iOS 5

I made the Update to iTunes 10.5 on my Notebook with Windows XP and the Update to iOS 5 on my iPhone 3GS.
I had a lot of Problems (the Backup had an Error, my outgoing Mails were all deleted in all Mail Accounts, the Synchronisation of Music and Apps needs a lot of Synchronisations and a lot of Time and so on) with these Updates and I need more than 12 Hours at the Moment to repair all the Errors.
My last Problem is:
There is no Synchronisation of Photos between iTunes 10.5 and iPhone with iOS 5.
I can not see my Photos in my iPhone.
The Capacity in iTunes 10.5 shows 4,4 GB Fotos on my iPhone, but in my iPhone, there is no Folder in the Photo App and so I can not see the 4,4 GB of my Photos.
This Problem comes with iOS 5. I had this Problem never before.
First, I gave in iTunes a OK for a Home Sharing of Music, Videos, Photos and so on for the Folders and for the iPhone.
Second, I was in iTunes in Photos and deleted the Check in the Folder Photos.
Third, I made a Synchronisation with iTunes and the iPhone.
Fourth, the Capacity of the Photos was then only at 0,17 GB.
Fifth, I close iTunes and switched off the iPhone.
Sixth, I started iTunes and iPhone new and bring both together with the USB-Port.
Seventh, the Syncronisation started and the Capacity of the Photos in iTunes was at 0,17 GB, too.
Eigth, I set a new Check in the Folder Photos in iTunes for a Synchronisation.
Ninth, the Capacity showed 4,4 GB again.
Tenth, the Synchronisation started and showed on the Display "2 Photos of 16.000".
Eleventh, the Synchronisation Circle stopped after 10 Seconds, but the Notebook worked 2 Minutes longer.
And after this the Synchronisation stopped appruptely / crashed (?) and the Photos are "unvisible" on the iPhone.
Is this a known Bug?
Has Someone a Solution for a correct Synchronisation of the Photos, so that I can see successfully my Photos in my iPhone again?
