Battery problem after enabling battery percentage with ibackupbot

My battery on my iPod touch 5g drains faster after I added the battery percentage with ibackupbot. Does anyone who did this have the same problem?
Before my battery drain to 93% of constant usage ( wifi on,checking email, browsing safari, etc ) in about 1 hour and 25 minutes; now it goes to 93% in 45 to 50 minutes.
Also when I charge my iPod it gets only to 95% and stops charging, and when I unplugged it, it reads 99%.
Please help if you guys know how to fix this..

Restore to the iPod to factory settings/new iPod.

I also forgot to mention that when it did have power, it wouldn't let me shut it off to try and conserve the battery life. Right when it powered down it would power right back up.

  • Problems after transfering Cost centers with LSMW

    Hi,
I have a problem after transfering Cost Centers with LSMW.
The first Batch input run created all cost centers in one CC Group erroneously - cause they should be placed in different CC groups.
I changed LSMW settings and made another batch input run - now the Cost centers were created in proper groups. I think that I deleted all CC's created in previous batch input run, but now I am not too sure, because there is a problem...
Cost centers exist both in their proper groups and in the one group mentioned by me before. So there is such situation that Cost center appears in Standar hierarchy twice at the same time.
When I delete cost centers - they are removed from their proper groups but the CC entry remains in that one group - all CC are there inactive.
How can I get rid of them. I tried deleting them - but it's impossible - the system doesn't see them.
When I run the batch input again - the same cost centers appear in proper groups and at the same time they become active in the one group. The standard hierarchy group is not UNIQE.
Please advice me how to delete these entries from standard hierachy.
    Best wishes,
    Karol

    Hi,
Always recommended before loading into live system: upload in test system and check. check again just to make sure all is correct before real load.
In your case you probably would have been best to do a group change after incorrect upload.
Do Ambiguity check in stadnard hierarchy to explore all incorrect entries. Depending on your version yo ucan change in that function (ECC6) ore need to run a report. Before running the report check that CC master records have correct entry. The report is RKCORRH1
Again, try in QA first and run in Test Run
    Good luck

  • Battery Problems After Mavericks installation

So i have a MacBook Pro 8.1.  Before i installed mavericks (under mountain lion) i was getting about 4.5 hrs on a full charge (90% brightness).  After installing Mavericks i've had several problems.
Immediately, I received a "service battery" error.  I never had that problem before.
Battery life seems to be jumping all over the place.  One minute it will say that i have 30% left (and literally within a span of a min of two) it will drop to 17%. (with no noticeable app draining the battery - as confirmed by activity monitor).
The time remaining indicator takes about 5 min to indicate how much time left this is in contrast to booting in safe mode (where the indicator showed right away).
Battery life seems about the same (i.e. on a full charge i see it at about 4 hrs - but then it quickly drops 3.5 and than back up and then back down)
I did the following to see if i could "fix" the problem.
a complete battery cycle (calibration). - this seemed to get rid of the "service battery" indicator at least
    a PRAM reset (x2)
    an SMC reset (x2)
Disk / Permission verify and repair (no problems)
I booted off a 2nd internal HD which had a copy of Mountain Lion.  The above problems were nonexistent which leads me to believe that this problem is specific to Mavericks.
p.s. and No Spotlight (or any particular process) isn't consuming a large amount of energy.
All that being said, anyone have any suggestions?  At this point i can't trust how much time i really have on my battery.
For what it's worth i have installed a 3rd party SSD.  I noticed on a few different discussions that being a common thread with others having the same problem.

I have exactly the same problem with an MacBook Pro 8.2 for first time some days after a clean Mavericks installation.
I dont have a 2nd internal HD installed.
We need an answer from Apple.

  • 3GS - Serious battery problems after 4.1! Help!

Same problem after upgrading my 3gs 32gb to version 4 up to 4.1 Tried everything i could find in forums. The solution that worked for my case was rather simple. I've turned off 3g (edge is ok for email), wi-fi, notifications, deleted and recreated my exchange account, deleted more than 100 applications i had previously installed, but left only very basic apps i need to work. One of the most important things i did was to get skype completely removed and have replaced it by Nimbuzz, a similar voip app that allows us to place calls through skype without draining battery like crazy; it behaves perfectly well while in background. My battery is now lasting 24 hours with moderate email usage. Another thing i believe is really important is to turn off the receive images feature in email settings and also to restrict showing up to 50 messages received within the last three days. By the way, push is on for the exchange account. A final comment: i'm really an Apple fan, but i feel really disapointed for trusting a company that behaves as if users have no importance at all. I've got an impression that Apple don't really care about our battery draining issues. No wonder why so many people are looking forward to jailbreak their phones now.

I to am having the same problem. It even seems like it takes longer to charge due to the raid drain. I even went an got a cell phone case that has a built in extra battery to make it last threw the day, but it drains so fast that it wont even charge the Iphone. my 3g was fine on 4.0 tell this upgrade, I might downgrade but having a taste of how fast my Iphone used to be is keeping from downgrading.... Apple really needs to step up there game or there going to end up losing allot of customers!!

  • N82 battery problem after update to firmware 30.0....

Where as v20 i can play ngage non stop for about nearly 3 hours. Do remember ngage games with sound n display brightness is at the lowest. Both on each n82.
    What I have found...

  • Battery problem after latest OS update

I got my z10 a month ago. It was working fine with all those android apps. As soon as I updated my os to 10.2.1.2941, I started encountering several problems.
1.battery decaliberation, false battery reading(i re-caliberated it time and again but it happens to appear again).
2.battery drain- my dispaly is eating up some 20% of battery, if my phone is in stand-by mode, my stand-by mode eats up 15% of battery(it's been 12-13 days since I updated the OS so no question of OS still installing certain things in background, moreover, I've even deleted all my mail accounts as in some cases they were the reason for battery drain).
3.well, still I can't open more than 8 apps( This feature was a prominent one in this very update,I can't see it though).
    4.Battery heats up.
5.I can now see lags while multitasking, earlier it was not there.
I updated OTA and it was an official update.
In case I need to autoload the OS again, please provide me the llink with the steps. Using BlackBerry for the first time and I'm a noob.
    Thank you!

  • Iphone4 battery problem after ios6 upgrade

drastic reduction of battery life after upgrade to ios6 . Help

This seems to be a major problem for all IPhone 4 users, apple will definitely repair this in the next update. For know you can:
Adjust brightness: Dimming the screen is another way to extend battery life. Go to Settings > Brightness & Wallpaper and drag the slider to the left to lower the default screen brightness. In addition, turning on Auto-Brightness allows the screen to adjust its brightness based on current lighting conditions. Go to Settings > Brightness & Wallpaper and set Auto-Brightness to On.
Turn off push mail: If you have a push mail account such as Yahoo! or Microsoft Exchange, turn off push when you don't need it. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and set Push to Off. Messages sent to your push e-mail accounts will now be received on your phone based on the global Fetch setting rather than as they arrive.
Fetch new data less frequently: Applications such as Mail can be set to fetch data wirelessly at specific intervals. The more frequently e-mail or other data is fetched, the quicker your battery may drain. To fetch new data manually, from the Home screen choose Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Manually. To increase the fetch interval, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data and tap Hourly. Note that this is a global setting and applies to all applications that do not support push services.
Turn off push notifications: Some applications from the App Store use the Apple Push Notification service to alert you of new data. Applications that extensively rely on push notifications (such as instant messaging applications) may impact battery life. To disable push notifications, go to Settings > Notifications and disable notifications for select applications. Note that this does not prevent new data from being received when the application is opened. Also, the Notifications setting will not be visible if you do not have any applications installed that support push notifications.
Minimize use of location services: Applications that actively use location services such as Maps may reduce battery life. To disable location services, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services or use location services only when needed.
I hope my answer was usefull, if so do not forget to click (this helped me) or (this solved my question), thank you!

  • Battery problem after upgrade

After upgrade i have high battery usage. It drain the battery in 1 day!

I had the same problem first, but all is OK now ,... I was thinking that it migh be some apps - and it might be fb (fb feed), as I disabled my fb account for a moment and re-enabled it later again (in accounts) ... and now, N9 uses even less energy, compared on before upgrading ... just try it

  • Non-battery problem after firmware upgr

OK this is really weird. The first time I boot up the Zen in the morning, after the little swirly screen, the word "zen" comes up in big letters. Just since the upgrade (not before), half the "Z" is missing!!
However, once I have had it on a while, if i turn it off and then on again, it's back and ok. What gives? Is this a sign of future problems with the zen? I guess I will go back to old firmware and see if it does it.
OH, and the battery issue, it showed I had 3 bars left after all night being off, but it's on the usb right now and it's definitely charging (light pulsing).

i know about this problem cuz im having this.
it's not because of new firmware
i have this problem since last firmware.
it occurs when you turn off player while playing music.
and then after 4 hrs(or duing deep sleep), you get this when you turn on.
try turn off player after you stop the music.
pull out the battery and put in, and turn on.
then you will not get this problem.
'so it occurs when you turn off while playing. and turn on during deep sleep'
i wish im right. but there are other possible answer beside this one.

  • MSI GT680 turbo/battery problem after new motherboard

so basically my dc power jack burnt out some components on the previous motherboard (dunno why the dc power jack is connected with the motherboard as you have to open everything up to get to it, kinda stupid imo) so i got a new one and put it in but the laptop wasn't turning on...long story short i gave it to a professional who said that those little strip connectors that connect so many components were damaged and he had to replace them and the laptop worked fine...today i took it off charge for the first time and after a few mins on battery it shut off suddenly even though battery was 100% and there is no indication by the system that is indeed damaged (i contacted the repair guy and he said its probably a faulty battery) and other then that when i turn turbo on, it comes on for about 5 seconds before automatically turning itself off...i've no idea what the problem could be; any suggestions?
could it be that i need to update my bios? (currently E16F2IMS Ver:1.0M)
    thanks in advance
p.s on the msi gt680 support page the new bios and ec only have the non win8 version; can't i flash them to my windows 8?

Quote from: darkhawk on 02-October-13, 20:04:01
It does kind of sound like the battery is bad, or else some of the electronics around the battery are.
As far as the BIOS, the 'Win8' and 'Non-Win8' bio's are only in regards to what OS ORIGINALLY came installed on the system. The GT68X series weren't being sold with Windows 8 pre-installed I believe. I would just install the Non-Win8 BIOS's as it shouldn't make any difference for your system.
well the turbo button issue was cos of the new nvidia drivers, just rolled em back and its ok...and ohhh thanks for that ill try flashing them and see if it makes a difference

  • Battery problem after upgrading to os x 10.6.7

    hello there,
i'm new to this forum. i've bought my MBP at feb 2011. everything was working fine before i upgraded my os to 10.6.7. i used to get very good battery performance. depending on my use, the battery indicator showed sometimes upto 10 hours (or even more) of battery life remaining. but after the update, no matter how it is used (or even the computer just wakes up from sleep while 99% of the battery charge is remaining), it hardly shows more than 6 hours (with the same brightness and power saving settings). does the new version of os needs more power? in that case, i want to roll back to 10.6.6.
but i also dont know how to roll back to 10.6.6. any help?
btw, the battery health is 99% and it has completed 42 cycles.
    pls suggest.
    thanks in advance
