I have a first generation 10gb Ipod. The battery doesn't hold a charge well. If I send the Ipod in for the battery replacement service, will I get a new/used/refurbished Ipod exactly like my current one, or a more recent generation Ipod?

Check iZone Stores near you. They are the only Apple reseller I know. You may check on them for a battery replacement.

Apple's battery replacement service

I have an old 1st generation iPod with a drained battery. If I sent it to Apple to replace the battery, will they send me back my same iPod, or a different one of the same generation? My iPod is in nice condition & I wouldn't want a scratched up one in exchange.

Or you could save a lot of money and replace the battery yourself.

On the first and second gen iPods, the battery is physically huge (three times the size of any of the later hard drive iPods). You can get high-capacity battery that is better than the OEM battery and it will play continuously for 24 hours or more.

I learned Apple replaces the whole Ipad when you need a new battery(for a fee) but doesit replace it with the same specs? e.g. memory and 3G capabilities.

Battery replacement service request...

I did not realize I had not changed my email address to the current one I use now. I sent in a request to get the battery on my silver ipod mini replaced THEN changed my email address to my existing account. I can no longer access the old account but when I view the status on my repair (from the apple website) it says that it got my request. Is there anyway I can cancel the order and start over with the new email address or am I just stuck? Its been almost a month with no activity.

My iphone 4S battery is useless. It doesn't hold charge and falls from 50% to "off" instantly.
I want to pay apple the £55 + shipping to get the battery replaced
However doing this appears to be impossible.
Apple say I cannot speak to them.
O2 tell me to contact apple.
Apples own online system that runs a system check simply tries to sell me flipping docks.

Can my Ipad 3 have a battery replacement outside the country?

My Ipad 3 has a battery weared. It turns off when the battery drops to 80%. I plan go to Apple Store to have a battery replacement. But i purchased my Ipad in US and now I am in France. Is it possible to have this kind of replacement?

The fact that you bought it in the U.S. should not make any difference at all. I'm not so sure that they can replace your battery in an Apple Store, typically you have to send the device to Apple in order to have the battery replaced. You are supposed to contact them via the link here.

Battery replaced at Fashion Show Mall, Las Vegas

Hi, I have a MacBook Air and active protection plan.
My mac shows "Service Battery". I've searched for the support on this site and it suggested I should bring the mac to any apple store for battery replaced service and I did.
I took my mac to an Authorised local service provider in Bangkok to replace the battery. The technician said I had to leave macbook with him for 2 weeks because there's no spared battery in stock. He needed to order it from Singapore. This is not good solution for me at all because I need to use my mac at work everyday and I don't have any spared pc.
I've read that Apple provide global warranty, that 's really excellent choice for me because I just plan to go to Las Vegas in 2 weeks and I think I'll have it replaced at The Fashion Show Mall there. I wonder how long do I have to wait for the battery replaced? Does the shop already have the battery in the stock?

Without contacting them, no one can give you a definitive answer.

IPad Air battery replacement.

Realizing that this is an issue for the future. Do we anticipate that Apple will support the eventual replacement for a fee, when the battery of the iPad Air wears out. I have read about how difficult it will be to DIY. This info might have a bearing on whether to get one or not.

No reason to think that Apple will not offer battery replacement service for the iPad Air.

Battery Replacement with the Online Service

I was using the apple online service assistant to order a battery replacement for my 80 gig iPod Classic because it no longer holds its charge for as long as I would like it to. I got to this page and got stuck:

Despite there being a choice above saying that my problem is with the battery, there is no option that lets me say that I specifically want the battery replaced. What should I do?
Additionally, when looking at the repair prices page, I saw that there were two values for everything- the repair price and the battery. Just to make sure, I only need to pay the battery replacement price if I just want to replace the battery right?

I have a mid 2009 13'' MBP. I got the battery replaced in Apple store, It then stopped displaying the battery status LED. After some months of use my MBP died. I got it checked in Apple verfied Service centre and was told that logic board was to blame

After I came back to US I took my MBP to Apple store and was told that there is liquid damage in the system. My question is that if there was liquid damage why did my MBP stop displaying the battery status right after the battery was changed secondly why didnt the apple verified Service centre tell me that there was liquid damage afterall I paid them the money for diagnosing the problem.
Is there a process i can followup on this problem
