Battery screen keeps popping up
In my TX when I turn it on and try to work with it the battery screen popps up and I cannot get rid of it. the unit is fully charged and it states that. It causes the touch screen part to seem miss aligned, but if I can get the screen to go away, the touch screen sync works fine. Why does this battery screen keep popping up.

Hello and thank you for using the Palm Help Forums!
You may want to clean the touchscreen. It could be click the item on its own if there is some dust or dirt on it. Also, clean the outside of the touchscreen with a business card. If you notice this problem still occurs after cleaning the touchscrenn try a hard reset. This will erase all data on the device and restore settings to default. Be sure to back up your information by syncing it to a computer. For further information and instructions on hard resets, please visit kb.palm.com and look up article number 42094 in the Solution I.D. search field.
I hope this helps and let me know if you have any further issues.

Blue screen keeps popping up after "you need to restart" message
While I was rendering a movie in After Effects, the screen turned black with the message "you need to restart your computer". So I did. But after the restart nothing will load. So in the upper right corner the only thing there is the magnifying glass (so no time, airport etc). If I want to start something (like Chrome or whatever) it loads and a few seconds after that a blue screen pops up and than the app is closes again... If I do nothing a blue screen keeps popping up also (guess something wants to start and gets shut down again).
I tried the apple hardware test (extended) and it said everything was ok. I also disconnected everything from my iMac, no help. Then I tried reinstalling OS X, problem was still there. I also repaired disk and permissions.
So I really don't know what to do now, hope you can help.
I got a iMac 27" i7 8gb ATI Radeon HD 5750 and I was running the newest OS X (10.6)that was a [_*Kernel Panic*_|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/8965.html]
try booting into _*safe mode*_. if your Mac boots into safe mode, repair permissions while in it, then reboot normally.

Shutdown screen and Volume level screens keep popping up
My friends Macbook 13" 2.4 GHz Intel core 2 duo running Os 10.5.8 is having problems. The screen "Are you sure you want to shutdown your computer now ?", keeps popping up. If you click cancel, it will pop up again in a few minutes and remain until some action is taken. Also underneath it, the speaker volume level screen pops up. If you leave the shutdown screen on, the speaker volume screen will continue to pop in and out. I booted from a external drive by USB with Os 10.6.8 and the screens after computer starts, still pop up. ANYONE HAVE SOME INSIGHT ON WHATS CAUSING THIS? I don't think it's software related.
ANY INFO APPRECIATEDThanks for your Suggestions BDAqua, but it looks like possibly the top case and keyboard will have to be replaced. I cloned the internal drive to an external drive, and rebooted with the external. Then did a partitioning and clean Os install to the original internal drive. After removing the external and booting off the new software install on the internal, the problem is still there.

Why does Black screen keep popping up
black screen keeps pooping up for no reason
It's been happening to me as well lately on build 10041 just before I upgraded to build 10049. On build 10041, it would usually happen to me when I was browsing the internet. The screen would go black once or twice and then recover. The
bad thing about this is my mouse would start stuttering to the point of being almost unusable accompanied with a beeping sort of sound coming from my audio speakers. Restarting the computer was about the only way I could clear the problem. I've seen other
postings about this elsewhere and the best that can be done right now is to report it as a bug using your feedback app. I have not seen the problem in build 10049 yet. -
I recently converted from the PC world to Apple and got an IMAC 21". I keep getting the speaker volume screen popping up periodically and also types in ggh'l into whatever application I have open. I have the lastest software and have McAfee antivirus installed. This is a recent problem in the last few days so I'm not sure what is causing it. Any ideas/suggestions?
etresoft a long time contributer to Apple Support Communities wrote a very useful app he called etrecheck which helps in diagnosing many problems caused by third party installs etc.. Go to his website, read his information and from there download and run the program according to his instructions

Blue screen keeps popping up, format and reinstall did not fix problem
My wife has a Toshiba Satellite A55-S3063 Laptop with Windows XP Home. After we got married in 2008, I noticed SP2 was installed and there was an update ready. She said SP3 never installed and I couldn't get it to install. Even with Registry checks, removing anti-virus, and other suggestions from the MS site, I still couldn't get it to install. I told her we would do a format and reinstall "someday." A month ago, the blue screen of death started coming on regularly and the computer would restart quickly after flashing the blue screen. I did a System Restore from a previous point, but a few days later, it started happening again. I decided to take this opportunity to do a format and reinstall, so I backed everything up. Her computer came with a recovery disk that only gives you the option to do a format and reinstall, not a recovery like I've done on other computers. So the format was really our only option. I did this and installed all the Service Packs (including 3). I put a new battery in (that we hadn't used before) because the old one didn't last very long and I got a blue screen and restart the next time I turned on the computer. AFter that one time, it worked fine the rest of the day. The next day I plugged in the external hard drive (Simpletech 500gb) to move her info back over. A few minutes later, blue screen and system crash. On restart, same thing. Next restart, just a black screen. I decided no big loss if I reinstall again, so I reinstalled again. Now I just get the blue screen during setup. Right after I type in the computer name and click "Next" I can hear the hard drive spinning and then the blue screen and system restarts. The blue screen is not up long enough to read, so I can't give you an error message.
I can only assume this a hardware problem, but I don't know what or how to fix it. We have her sister's old computer which is the same computer, bought at the same time, but stopped working years ago. So with explicit instructions, I might be able to retrieve hardware from that. Except the hard disk; her sister kept that and is using it as a small external drive.this link should give you some info on how to get it open to everything
A55 disassembly
toshiba doesnt offer any manuals so this is about as good as you will find
hope that helps

I changed and can't set back
to english.Hello Jaman1953
The problem you have described is very irritating. I would be glad to look into this issue with you.
Do you have a HDMI cable to attach and remove to the device? If so please try that, then power the device off and remove and reinsert the Sim card. Does the error come back?
If the problem persists, please try a hard reset. Here's a link to the reset: http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=49625
Please let me know if this helps.

Mac Pro will not start up. Screen keeps popping up telling me to restart.
I was just using the computer and a box popped up telling me " you need to restart your computer. hold down the power button for several seconds or press the restart button". I restart and it still pops up. I unplugged everything and tried again several times and it still happens. I also tried another partition on another hard drive and that says the same thing.
Thank you for any help. You can't use the keyboard at all ??

My plastic lcd screen keeps popping off and I wonder if it is covered under 1 year warranty.
I have a Macbook Pro that is less than a year old. I noticed that the screen kept coming off in the corner and now when I open it, sometimes the bottom corners come all the way off. I tried to press the screen all around, but the adhesive seems to be failing. Is this covered under warranty?
Thank you,
TaraAsk the Genius Bar. But I would suspect that unless there is some evidence of "pry marks" on the case, it will be judged "maufacturing defect" and be covered.
