Battery symbol on my TP

Hello! I'm having a problem with my touch. There is a battery symbol with a lightning bolt and it doesn't want to charge. Also I found out where the battery is and it "pops" out but doesn't come out completely from the TP How do i slide it completely out without fear of breaking it? Thanks!

Your issue has been asked many times on this forum. Many times the answer is a defective USB cord.
Try using another micro-USB cable with the supplied charger.
The battery in the touchpad was not designed to be user-replaceable. Opening the case voids any warranty you may have.

Try this first:
Leave the device to charge 2-3 hours, and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the the battery from the device a few seconds and reinsert it. If it boots--leave it to charge to 100% (check Options > Status for the percentage).
If it doesn't boot--try using a wall outlet charger if you are not. If you are connected via USB to the PC, make certain that you have Desktop Manager (or the USB device drivers) installed, which you can download below.
Make certain your USB cable is connected to one of the PC's main rear USB ports. Not a USB hub, nor a monitor USB port, nor a USB port on the front of the PC.

8800, battery symbol with red line through it. Won't boot. Please help!!!

I recently bought a 8800 and when I inserted a battery, all I got was a battery symbol with a red line through it on a dim screen. I changed batteries, tried to charge it via USB and from a wall outlet to no avail. I tried cleaning the contacts and tried uploading t a new OS, but it wont recognize the phone being connected when it actually is.    I am at the end of my rope with this phone and can't figure out what else to do. Is it just gone? Please help me

Ipod touch 2nd generation goes from apple logo to low battery symbol when trying to turn it on. Won't show up in itunes either. Is it a dead battery? Help please.

Hi, I have a 2nd Geration iPod touch. The ipod will NOT go past the apple logo when turning on. After about three minutes of waiting the screen will go blank. So, I push the sleep/wake button and the low battery symbol appears, indicating that the ipod is being charged. After about three minutes the ipod goes to sleep. Wake up and the red battery shows up again but this time the apple logo appears after about three minutes and stays on for 5 minutes before going to sleep again. When you wake it up it is on the red battery again. and the process repeats. The battery symbol never increases from the low mark.(no matter how long I charge it.) It also gets a little bit hot after a while. The ipod will NOT show up in iTunes either. Please help thank you.

no buddy, when my i pod touch 4 is off i press its power button then it display a black screen in which there is an empty battery with red marking in side an,,

It's orientation lock. Double tap the home button, swipe left to right, far left is the orientation lock. Tap on/off. Tap home button when finished.

Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).
Using the phone while charging doesn't create a problem.. I do it all the time

Changing battery symbol to percent and playing with Jambox

Two questions:
1. Can I change the battery icon on top of my iPod touch 4g from battery symbol to one with percent like I have on my iPad 2?
2. Does playing music with Jambox will drain my iPod battery more quickly the iPod earphones?

T410 (2522) - No battery symbol within the task bar

Hello together,
around 4 weeks ago i have bought a new T410 laptop. Everything works fine, but i have so problems with the battery symbol (big one) within the task bar. Within the lenove power manager the option to display the symbol is selected. Sometimes it is visible, sometimes not.
Power Manager and Management driver are updated to the latest version (3.62 & 1.62). OS is a Windows 7 64 bit professional.
Any ideas?

Ipod touch got wet and froze on the battery symbol. I forced a shut down and wasnt responsive. tried turning it on and it wouldnt. Later on white screen appeared followed by the apple logo

i spilled a pop on my ipod and it froze up. the screen was loced on the battery symbol sign and i forced a shut down. It tunred off and wont turn on. Later a white screen popped up and after the apple logo popped up and dissapeared. I have tried to connect it to my computer and it said that the iphone(itunes read it as such) was in recovery mode. How do I get this thing to work again?

Leave the iPod off and place it in a container with dry rice to absorb moisture. Let it thoroughly dry.

If you mean this sign, dont worry, you just have to leave it connected or charging for at least 2 hours.(80%)
After 30 minutes there will be some green area on the symbol, replacing the red area.
But preferably leave it charging for 4 hours till full charge.

drsoif, this is the Portrait Orientaion Lock, which means you locked your phone in a way for it not to have landscaping mode. To correct this you will need to: double tap your home button and swipe to the right, first icon will be the icon with the ''arrow'' going in a circle, tap on it once and the lock will disappear:)
