Baylon T has been uninstalled but the search engine won't get off the heading. It's a remnant I can't dispose of and most certainly don/t want. Have tried all ways I know and some told to do - nothing works.

I installed Babylon Translator to read a German letter. Didn't like it so I uninstalled it same half hour (and found out it was a 2 day trial, not free.) But the babylon search engine got into my firefox heading and nothing seems to work to get it out. I even uninstalled FF, but on reinstall, there it was again.What can I do to rid my computer of this unattractive nuisance?

For iOS the ipad version shows the folio that has been published, but the iPhone app is not.

I am responsible for handling the apps and not at all involved with or know how the folio creation process works.

when you opened the shared library with the newer version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11) you were given a warning that your library would be converted and could not be used by older versions - you clicked ok to go ahead - there is no updo available - either upgrade to iphoto '11 of the MBP or load your backup of the iPhoto '09 library on it - older versiopns of i{Photo can not read newer libraries

Ipod has been disabled but the home button is broken is there another way of rebooting?

My kids iPod Touch has been disabled, have tried to do a recovery as the code as been forgotten, but the home button is broken is there other options?

I know of no such way. RecBoot will place an iPod in recvery mode without using the butttons but I know of no similar program for DFU mode.

The updates from version 29 on have moved the tab bar as well as changed the position & function of the address bar. The "solution" to the question in quotes above is not a solution, the question was just closed. The question owner was able to return 95% of the function the way he had it & has settled for that. I don't find it acceptable & have opted to revert to version 28. I'm worried I might have to switch browsers after using Firefox since the first beta version. Is there no way to keep the options from version 28 (mainly the position of the tab & address bars) in updated versions? I tried the Classic Theme Restorer, but it didn't help. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit & Firefox 28 right now with no problems, but I assume as Firefox advances some functions on the older version will fail. Help please?

I can't remember exactly what the issue was with the address bar, just that it's orientation with other objects changed. I'm an old guy ;-) & don't do change well anymore! The tabs bar was my biggest issue, if it's not directly above the window I get really messed up when browsing. I'm starting to believe I should just switch back to IE & be done with it. Firefox has been great, but realistically all I use my computer for now that I've retired is e-mail, news & a little research. Actually. I just convinced myself to use IE. Thanks for your time. How do I delete a toolbar that was added by a plugin? Plug-in's been uninstalled, but the toolbar is still there and any new tabs open on their search engine (even though I have Tab Mix set to open tabs on a duplicate page). Help?

Running Firefox on Windows XP3. I installed a plugin from Savevid.com, which they now require. (I've used that site for at least a year with no problem ever.) Everything was fine but it added a toolbar to my browser, and it seems to have reset Firefox somehow so that any new tab opens on "Searchqu", some low-rent search engine. I uninstalled the plug-in altogether, but the toolbar is still there, and I can't make the reset on the search engine go away. I use Tab Mix Plus (also never had this problem before with it), but no matter what I do, the tabs will not open to anything other than searchqu. (Tab Mix has the option to open to a duplicate tab - what it was using BEFORE all this - but changing that no longer has any effect.)
Anyone know how to deal with a problem like this?

In multicam editing Im cutting a part and the audio is staying. The video part has been cut, but the original audio continues to play. I made several similar edits earlier and had no problems. Please help!! Thanks

Absolutely nothing to do with top or bottom or whatever order they're set in the angle editor, though it's practical to set the audio at the bottom as you're not going to be cut, but it can be anywhere. In can bet in the middle if the stack. What is import is what is the active angle when you edit the clip into the timeline. You can change it afterwards, but it's easiest to do when you first make the edit into the timeline. In the angle viewer you set the active angle. That's what gets edited into the timeline as the first cut.
This is the angle viewer.
Cam 2 is the active angle. When it's edited into the timeline that's the video and audio that appears. In your case you would set bounce as the active angle. You can change the video in the timeline after you set the angle viewer to cut or switch video only. Then bounce remains as the audio.

i know i know! many people have posted about this. i have been working with this error for quite a time now and i was happily waiting for apple to solve this. there is still no change and it is getting VERY annoying that apple is not doing something about it!

Occasionally I will delete a podcast from the podcast menu, once I have listened to it, but then I would like to return it to its place so I can still listen to it again on my ipod. Is this possible? I have tried dragging the file into the itunes library, but it won't show up in its right place among the other podcasts.

Ok let me ask you IF the IT department of your workplace does NOT want OS X installed on "THEIR" (The Companies) computers because of what they think is some type of security issue why are you trying to go against their wishes and install OS X on a computer that is NOT owned by you.
That could cost you your job.
If you continue down this path you will screw up the Windows install and have to take the system back to the IT department to get it fixed. What do you think they will say at that point?
Do as you like but you would be better off just buying your own Mac computer if you are set on using OS X as your personal operating system.

We have developed a custom AME approval hierarchy for iRecruitment.
The hierarchy includes delivering FYI notifications as well.
The FYI notification gets generated we can see the FYI notification when we login to oracle apps.
But it is not getting delivered by email.
When we checked wf_notification_out table, it says it is sent.
Can anyone please help us on this.

So help me understand here... Some system sends an email with an attachment to a SharePoint email-enabled library, saving the attachment. This occurs each morning. You then want the SharePoint library to send you an email after each time this happens?
Why not just set up an alert on the library instead of workflow? Or have the source system send out the alert as well?

IDVD shows shaky "Ticker " Titles once the Movie has been burned but the Titles were not shaky when making the video in iMovie . Any thoughts please .

I make a lot of video's in iMovie but in the latest I have included some "Ticker " Titles that run smoothly when in iMovie but when I burn to disc with iDVD the Ticker Titles run but are shaky .This is the first time I have come across this after owning my iMac for 5 years so I am not sure if this is something new since updating which I do always when new updates come out . When I use a stationary Title there are no problems but the moving title does add a bit of class to the video.
I always rave about my iMac and loathe to tell the guy's I have a small issue .

Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If not try using it and test the disk in both DVD players.
