BB 8700 stuck in one category

I recently replaced my Powerbook G4 with a Macbook Pro. I now have two problems and I don't know if they are related. The first is that when I try to sync, I would get messages that stuff has been deleted from my device, many, many. After a while I decided to just tell it to put them all back. Next time I sync, I get the same messages.
The second problem occurred when I recently tried to send test messages to the people in one of the categories or groups in my contacts. I sent the texts, but now I can't get out of that group. I have over 1,000 contacts on the BB but I can only reach 10. I know the others are there because some are speed dials that work, and if I call a number it recognizes the person and makes their other phone number available.
I uninstalled PocketMac and installed the updated version (I think). I removed the battery and the SIM card but when I rebooted the problem was still there. I don't know what to try next I hope someone can help.

On mine, the category button appears at first, but drops down to a very restricted list of categories. Once you select a category, the button disappears and does not return. Usually the number of apps for the selected category is very low, often less than a full page.
The only workaround I've found is to out of Genius, and quit App Store, by closing it, then double-clicking the home button, holding down the App Store icon until it wiggles, then deleting it from the open apps tray, pressing the home button again, relaunching the App Store, then switching back to Genius.
Not very convenient, but it sometimes works. Otherwise a hard reboot is necessary.
Don't know why Apple has not fixed this. It's been going on for about a month or so. The best thing I can say for it is that it has cut the amount I've spent on apps to practically nothing, since I'm no longer able to find anything of interest. Doesn't seem like it would be good for Apple's revenues, though.

If you go to the Now Playing screen, the Repeat control is the the arrowed racetrack icon on the left side right below the scrubber bar. Tap the icon to change. It is white when Repeat is off.

Display column values as a series/legend on a line chart where one column value can be more than one category

Hi Everyone
I don't know if this is possible or not, so I will describe it. I have a column in a table called Filing. There are currently three values in it ("Abuse", "Neglect", "Voluntary") and each record has this populated. I also have
the below slicer for the column also.
I would like to add a fourth value called "Abuse/Neglect" that would identify instances where both an Abuse and Neglect petition was filed, which is a subset of the Abuse and Neglect records in the Filing column.
My question is, is it possible to create a line chart that has the 4 Filing possibilities: "Abuse", "Neglect", "Voluntary", "Abuse/Neglect" as the Series/Legend in the line chart?
The problem is that there are records that are more than one category: Abuse or Neglect records can also be Abuse/Neglect.

According to your description, there is a column with the values ("Abuse", "Neglect", "Voluntary") in your table, now what you need to is that add another value "Abuse/Neglect" in this column, and then use it
as Series/Legend in the line chart, right?
In this case, you can add calculated column to your table based on your logic. A calculated column is a column that you add to an existing PowerPivot table. Instead of pasting or importing values in the column, you create a DAX formula that defines
the column values. The calculated column can be used in a PivotTable, PivotChart, or Power View report as you would any other data column. Please refer to the link below to see the details.

You can have more than one category - this page shows you how the tags are formed:

The Store will list only the first category and its sub-category at the top of the page. Like the first category, the others will in theory make your podcast available for searching by category. However searching just on the category in the iTunes Store is most unlikely to throw up your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts out there, and it would be quite impossible to display on one page the entire list for any category. What you see are 'featured' podcasts, chosen by Apple as being special; please see this Tech Note:

Note that there is no way you can influence the selection other than making your podcast really special.

CCM - How to make items in one category to be sorted as expected?

Hi,
I'm searching for a way to sort items in one category in CCM, so that when end users open Catalog via SRM, click into the category, they can see some items on top of the list automatically.
I had thought the items should be sorted by Item Valuation and also tried to upload items in CCM in the order I wanted. But when I created shopping cart as an end user to connect to catalog, the order of the items are totally different. And I even could not tell how the items are sorted, it seems it's not by item valuation, not by item description, not by price, not by anything... Is it that in the catalog search engine the items are not sorted at all?
Can somebody share with me how I can realize that? Many thanks!

Moving multiple queries from one category to another in QM

Hi All,
Is there is any way of moving multiple queries from one category to another in the query manager?
Or is the only way of doing it by saving each one individually into a different category.
Any ideas ?

Hi Rakesh,
The query manager has limited function compare with normal file management applications. Under current design, you have to do this one by one. You just need to make sure move the smaller amount of queries to large category. Category name can be changed easily.

Workflow Error: Stucked at one Function (URGENT)

Hi ,
I am facing issue with my custom Workflow (Customized the OM:Order Header OEOH). I added two functions to automate the reservation and release process.
But somehow it is stucking at one custom fuction for some of the Order, not for all. When I do retry from System Administrator for that node, it restrarted and completed. Anybody has any clue about this? It's PROD issue. Any help will be higly appreciated.

Now we need one category for "plant" and other category for "month", Data is qty.

could you explain bit more about your requirement? How would you like the graph to be renderded with two categories. Can't you club Plant and Month into one single category (1000-201101) and display it?

To back to the normal scale you have to disable the parallax.
Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Reduce Motion (turn off)
You won't be able to put the wallpepr out of frame as ios 6 (earlier), but it stop to putting the annoying zoom.

Flash drive is physically stuck in one of my USB ports (HP 2000)

There is a flash drive that has been physically stuck in one of the USB ports of my HP 2000 for a few days now.
(1) I've tried using physical force to pull it out (e.g. pulling while moving the flash drive in a circular motion, pulling straight, pulling to the sides) but that has not worked.
(2) I even took out all the screws on the bottom of the laptop and slightly cracked open the part of the computer than contains the two USB ports so I could try to fix the problem from inside the laptop. That also did not work since I couldn't reach the internal chamber that holds the USB ports.
(3) I also tried using tools to dislodge the flash drive. That did not work either.
And help or tips to offer?

After I went through the Apple Support Community, I tried the easiest and simplest suggestion first: restart my MacBook. Well I did it and the USB port seems to be working again and it reads my pendrive. Hope it will stay that way and never go wrong again. I really don't like going to Apple store because none is nearby.

You will just have to carefully pull harder. Push the other side back in so it is aligned, then pull it straight out.

Could you please let me know if you are using the latest version of Adobe Reader i.e. 11.0.10
What OS version are you using?
Have you opened the file on the web or within Reader itself?
You might close the file, launch Reader and go to Edit> Preferences> Security(Enhanced) and uncheck 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' option.

You've posted in a PowerPC old vintage system discussion area.
Do you have an Intel based Mac or a G4/G5 model prior to 2006?
If the computer is running OS X 10.7.5 or later, you may try to Force Quit the computer
by holding the power button down for about a minute. Then try to start the computer
in Recovery mode and if that is present, you can use OS X Utilities, and choose Disk
utility to see if repairing the hard disk drive helps.
Or from the original OS X install DVD, if you have a PPC Mac w/ OS X 10.5.8;
or if Intel Mac w/ optical drive & retail or original install-restore on DVD... Insert
the DVD and hold the C key down on startup to use tools on the Install DVD.
Or before going this far, on attempt to restart, try SafeBoot where you hold the Shift
key down after the start tone, and keep holding it until you see the login screen,
for your user password. Continue holding the Shift key down until you see Desktop
or Finder, then let the key go. This does may allow you to run Disk Utility from
the system in the computer, to see if repair disk permissions can help it.
You may have to use Recovery to attempt a reinstall of the OS X, if you have a
computer that is an Intel-based Mac. You posted in an older Mac area for items
built before 2006, that is before Macs had intel processors: they ran PowerPC.
Should the issue be the probability of whatever you were attempting to get, did not
make it, due to failure of the internet, or other issue, that may have timed out.
With poor or spotty internet, software or system updates or upgrade is problematic.
And if you were also using Wi-Fi, not an Ethernet connection, that usually is worse.
Since iOS is not a Mac OS X system, that is meaningless or not helpful in determining
anything about a Mac, or troubleshooting one. So actual related information is missing.
To supply info about your Computer, its OS X version, and other configuration specs
would help anyone else seeing your vague question.
