BB 9300. BB protect not working.

Everytime I click on the protect Icon it takes me to the download screen. When Try downloading, it says "download failed." I checked the details and it says 907 error Code.

it works in smartforms the procedure is select text elements and give /:protect and paragraph name like p1: text wht ever u want P1:text similary how many ever u want end it with /:endprotect
it looks something like this

Curve 3g 9300 track pad not working.

Hi my daughters Curve 9300 trackpad stopped working. Is this a common problem and if so does the phone need to be replaced or just the trackpad??

Thanks for the Update ! I am sorry but if your Trackpad is not working even after Device Update I think you need to replace or repair that.But before that I would like you to simple test ,Try starting your Device on safe Mode and see if your trackpad works,If it works your Apps are responsible for that ,But if it did work even on safe mode then as I said you may had to replace your Trackpad.

Document password protection not working in Finder or Spotlight

I have set a password protection for my personal journal. I need to enter the password when opening it in Pages 09 HOWEVER if i search for my journal through spotlight or the finder, it opens the journal without entering the password. This means anyone has access to my journal by searching for it.Why is this happening?? Am I not doing something correctly? Thanks in advance.

I tested under 10.4.11 and 10.5.7.
On my machines, Spotlight is unable to search in password protected Pages documents.
I had a doubt linked to the feature "Include Preview in document" which is disabled on my machines but even when I enable it, Spolight fails to look in the documents.
Maybe your password is registered in Keychain as one allowing automatic opening.

Password protection not working

When I look at my site in iweb, "Make my published site private" is checked. However, my family members were able to access it and never prompted to enter a password. Anyone know why this might be happening and how to fix?

I only have one site, and "make this site private" has always been checked (at the site level). I tried republishing I tried replacing the site with a brand new password-protected site, and deleting my cache and search history before visiting it. Still no password protection required.
The only instruction I'm not following to a tee is that I'm sending out my own email with the URL pasted in, not the auto-generated email. This is because I don't use Mail as my email client, I use Entourage.
Any additional suggestions would be most appreciated!

Curve 9300: Middle sensor not working

Quite a while ago the middle button on my curve 9300 started behaving tempermental, I would have to press it hard to get a response from it. Now it's stopped working completely! Is this a common flaw with blackberrys because i've heard it's happened to other people also. Advice greatly appreciated!

Yes this is a common problem. I have just had the exact same fault on my own 9300, the best solution is a replacement trackpad. I got one off eBay for £3.95 and fitted it myself, problem solved.

9300 internet is not working at all.

My internet and bbm and apps that use internet were working perfectly fine and I've had the phone for nearly 2 years, but a couple of days ago they just stopped working. I can text and ring like normal but my internet isn't working. I've switched on my wifi and even when I connected it to my house wifi it still didn't work. I've tried going into the host routing table screen but there are loads to choose from! One is in bold which I'm guessing I'm supposed to be connected to and I've tried registering it and rebooting and it says registration message sent but it still doesn't work! I really don't understand and would really appreciate some help asap!! Thanks!

Given that result, you need to ring up your mobile service provider for formal support. Only they can look "behind the scenes" at their systems to determine why your BB can no longer properly communicate with their network.

To get it to restore you use an application that is installed from the CD that comes with the iPod... can you find this and run it with the iPod connected. If it is able to see the iPod just go for a full restore that should get your iPod back to the beginning and you will have to add the music again. If the software tells you no iPod is connected and you know it is maybe you will have to contact Apple or an Apple Store, as for being helpful I have approached them several times with ailing mac problems both inside and out of warranty and have found them very helpful and keen to resolve issue. I imagine at xmas they face a fairly large influx of calls from a variety of people with differing technical abilities making it harder to resolve issues and taking it longer to get through.. just keep trying, I I also have large format HP printers which are under a support contract with HP and now there is support that is a joke... any time of the year

Not able to sign into Blackberry Protect. Backup and Restore function not working. Message is: "Your device isn't associated with a Blackberry ID." My Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry World is working fine so I am sure its not an ID issue on the phone. I can sign into Link, Blackberry.com and Protect. I see my device in Protect but cannot send messages or view it on a map. Times out with cannot reach device message. BB Protect on Device has a swirling circle beside the on/of switch. Cannot turn off.
I have deleted Link and re-installed.
I have reset phone to default(factory) and signed in.
OS level is 10.2.1.3062
BB Link is 1.2.3.56

I managed to figure this out myself. I had to delete the device from the Blackberry Protect website. protect.blackberry.com. I wiped my device again and signed in with my Blackberry ID. I dont know if the step of wiping was necessary as I did not try my backup with the current configuration on the device following the delete. Restore is in progress for me!

I have an HP ProBook 4520s. I have been using HP Protect tool's Password manager to store and manage my passords for all Login websites in Firefox 3.6. As a result, I just swiped my fingerprint to log on to any website.
After I installed the version 4 of Firefox, my all my login details do not work anymore. I have tried to reset them but I repeatedly get this error: "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (dpql) isn't associated with any program."

I guess this means that IE is more user friendly for HP Password Manager finger swipe recall of passwords, a favorite of mine. I still don't see a post from Firefox as to why they haven't produced fix. So I'll switch to IE until things change. I don't see value in downgrading to a Firefox version that's no longer going to be supported.

HP Protect Smart not working with windows 7

i bought hp dv4 special edition with windows vista installed
hp protect smart was working fine on windows vista
i replaced vista by windows 7 RC
but HP protect smart not working now ( disabled because the drive is not supported!!!!!!!!)
i contact hp support and they send an update for hp protect smart but this did not fix the problem
so i tried to install the software in compatibility mode as windows vista as microsoft suggested but the problem still exsist
has anyone face this problem and fix it?
