BB Bridge won't see BB10 email on Playbook anymore?

Since I've upgraded to BB10 from BB7, I can no more see my email, contact, calendar, txt message from my PB using BB Bridge. Is it normal? May be is time to dump the PB. Its useless if cannot use the same way as with BB7

Bridge for BB10 phones to Playbook was going to be added with BB10 but probably never will be now they dropped PB development.

what have you done to troubleshoot this?
Try closing FCP (Do you have FCP 6.0.2 and you are connecting through USB?) and/or reboot. I unserstand some of this consumer cameras are quite sensitive to the order of steps and connections to follow prior transfer.

Bridge won't open automatically

Just upgraded to CS5 and switched to Mac at the same time, so the learning curve is driving me nuts. My current problem is that I can't get Bridge to launch automatically, even when I set the preference. But more importantly, when I press "done" in ACR, it doesn't bring me back to Bridge.

Choosing Bridge to launch automatically in the prefs also by default selects
it as 'hide application after launch' so you won't see Bridge until you
select the application manual in the dock or with the Bridge Icon in PS.
You can change this behavior in the System preferences - accounts and in
your user account check log in, there is a list with application that will
start automatically when your restart your Mac or log in as a user. The
checkbox in front off the application let you choose between hide or show
after launching.
There are 2 ways to use the ACR plug in, either in PS or in Bridge itself.
With right mouse click on a thumb in the Bridge content window choose open
from the pop up menu to open ACR in PS. Obvious when having clicked on
'done' the ACR window in PS closes but you are still in PS.
Same as above but now choose 'open in Camera Raw' opens the file in ACR
using Bridge.
The difference between those 2 is that in PS the Open Image button is active
and responds to the enter key as short cut. In Bridge the Done button is the
active button.
Best part of this is that you can use them both simultaneously! So having
one job like save a lot files in filmstrip mode ACR using PS there will be a
menu with a waiting list preventing you to get on with an other job.
Back to Bridge and use Bridge ACR you can go on with a new job while ACR in
PS keeps saving the files from the other session in the background
In the Bridge prefs general tab you can also choose the option to open ACR
in Bridge with double click.

Two things, first see if it shows up in "Apple > About This Mac > More Info.. > Disc Burning" . If you still see it there the system still recognizes it but it isn't responding. Next do a

Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and ALL peripherals.
Wait 15 seconds.
Attach the computers power cable.
Wait another 5 seconds and press the power button to turn on the computer.
The 5 second timing is important to a successful reset.
Hopefully this will reset the power to the drive.

Sorry. I hit something and ended up on beginning page. No idea if you got the previous one of these. Put into search why won't thunderbird accept my password. Up came a messed up version of my comcast email password. My gmail password was not addressed. Since I used the singular for password, that could be why. Since a friend of mine somehow changed some thing, I could both send and get in to see my email using both passwords - comcast and gmail. Before that I could not get in nor send with neither the comcast nor the gmail passwords. First, I wonder what he changed. Second, did he mess it up further and make it much harder to fix? What is strange is when he changed what ever he changed, for a short time afterword, I could both send and get in to see the email using both , then it went to see email only with both passwords and not send with either one I really am sorry I had him work on it, but some how I did not find this system to ask questions. I made several attempts; however, only found articles. Actually, I found this by accident and am not sure I could it again. Would you please tell me how to get to this system? I tend to be verbose. I hope not too much so. Thank you for your volunteer time and effort. I truly hope this does not a lot of hassle to fix or tell me how if that is the way it is done. If I have to do it, please make it simple.

I am having the same problem. I have an ipod touch that worked fine up until the 4.0 firmware. The only thing I have noticed with mine that it was glitchy when it came to sending mail (which I use yahoo). Then most recently it stopped sending altogether. My isp is verizon & I have an airport extreme. I noticed today I can bounce off of a neighbors linksys wifi. Now I have no clue who their isp is. It's either verizon or comcast. Regardless I was able to send mail using their internet. Mine on the other hand is a no go.
I too am *extremely frustrated*. I have deleted my mail accts several times in hopes of it fixing the problem. I also updated to the latest firmware of 4.1 in hopes of it resolving the issue. I even tried using other smtp servers with no luck.
I hope someone out here has a solution to this problem. It is very frustrating.

Actually, it may be more to it. I just wasted good 7 hours on the issue: I transferred a big external drive from old WinXp system to my new W7 system, and faced the ownership mayhem ever since.
No matter what I did to the Volume Owner, Files Owner and attributes, recursive Directory Ownership jobs enduring tens of minutes at a time, nothing helped really.
Because you might have one more issue:
Use "Folder Options", either from Tools menu in Explorer, if menu shows, or via Control Panel.
Click on View tab, and find the box for "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)". Ignore that recommendation, uncheck.
Go now to the root directory of your troubled drive and you will see a hidden file "System Volume Information". This can be the "bad guy." Ensure that you have access to that file using the Properties / Security tab in a customary fashion! In my case that file was "padlocked", a small lock icon was placed over the folder icon to indicate that.
Only once I changed that, I was able to access the LR catalogs as a regular user. And only than LR was finally able to access existing previews and to display the grid image icons!
Ugrh.... Windows, the "personal computer system" is a mess, a labyrinth of convoluted intertwined dependencies, maybe created in competing departments and piled up atop of each other in an unseemly fashion. Compared to Unix and its derivatives it is a nightmare, which is a part of our lives for decades already.
I think that all the Apple users are now double-happy to have made the transition, when they see such "problems."

You won't find your emails on your iPad until you have set up your email account(s) on the iPad.
Use Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account...

Airport utility won't see AEBS and I cannot setup

I have a new AEBS dual band (MC340LL/A), and I have been trying to set it up. My current system is an Intel iMac (Leopard) and macbook pro(Snow Leopard) that has been using the Internet via an old Snow? airport (M8209LL/A).
I have Airport Utility 5.51 installed, but I cannot get it to recognize the base station. The amber light flashes, but no recognition so I cannot set it up.
I tried unplugging my old Airport and disabling the network, I tried connecting the new AEBS directly to the laptop via LAN, I tried a hard reset (I hope) many times, but it won't see the base station. Of course it sees no base station, and since I have the same Airport utility on both Macs, I cannot see either base station when I try to hook up both of them.
The old base station is still working even though I cannot see it (hence this message), and I am not worried about it, beacuse I plan on retiring it, if I could ever get the new one set up.
Please help. What am I doing wrong?

"Bridge" is technically the more correct way to configure the AEBS as you only want one device....in this case the Linksys....handling DHCP and NAT service. You have two devices both doing this now. May or may not cause some issues down the line.
If you connect the old Snow to your AEBS using an ethernet cable from a LAN port on the AEBS to the WAN port on the Snow, and configure the wireless network with exactly the same name, security and password as the AEBS, that will in effect extend the wireless signal, but only at b/g levels. The Snow must be configured as a bridge to do this.
There may be some issues with security settings here. I don't remember much of anything about the Snow. I doubt that it has WPA2 Security capability, and that's probably what the new AEBS is using. May take some experimentation to see if you can match settings between the two devices.

Unfortunately, no. There is a workaround however.
You can go to the Mail Settings, and enter an incorrect password for the account (or no password). This way, everytime it tries to check for mail, it will prompt for password.
However, this won't stop people from opening the Mail App and reading the e-mails that are already saved to the device

Hi - is the Firewire drive a Western Digital MyBook? That's what I have and have exactly the same problem. I've got a late 2009 iMac and the only way it'll connect and be seen is via USB. The drive will happily connect to my previous gen iMac, it just seems it won't talk to the 27 inch via Firewire.
I did some searching on this 18 months ago and found others with the same problem so I've settled for USB. It does mean that via USB I can use it as a bootable clone if I have any problems with the 27" (I don't think the WD MyBook can boot via Firewire even if it could see the drive - could be wrong on this bit though ).

ThinkPad Bluetooth Sees Other BT Objects, but Won't See My BT Mouse

My ThinkPad T420S Bluetooth is happily paired with my BT Printer and with a ThinkPad Bluetooth Mouse. It will also "see" my BlueTooth phone when I make the phone's BT discoverable. When I tried to pair it with a new Lenovo BT Mouse or with a new Targus Bluetooth Comfort Laser Mouse by using Bluetooth's "Add Device" Box, however, neither mouse would appear in the "Add Device" box.
I have a ThinkPad 420S, Windows 7, 64 bit, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator (driver version 6.1.7601.17889) and ThinkPad Bluetooth 3.0 (driver version 6.5.1.4500). The Device Manager says that my Bluetooth is working properly.
When my ThinkPad failed to "see" a new Lenovo ThinkPad Laser Mouse, I assumed that the new mouse must be faulty and returned it. But now that it won't see a new Targus BT Comfort Laser Mouse, either, I'm puzzled. In both cases, the mice had new batteries.

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them

I am running windows 7 64bit and have the CS5 Master suite. Due to low disk space I installed the suite on an external drive which the computer saw as (I) Later I installed a Card reader and it changed all my drive letters, so now the hard drive is seen as (L). For awhile a was able to use Photoshop or any of the programs until I figured out how to change the path in properties to go to the (L) Drive instead of looking for a non existant (I).
Now I can open the products, but the Extension manager won't see them at all and when I try to install a new purchase or download I get this: http://prntscr.com/spmmq and this is the version I am using http://prntscr.com/spn0a, I do have CS6 as well, but it crashes 2-3 times a day from random things and I have a lot of stuff my photoshop has to load, so it takes almost 1.5 hours to get back up after a crash.. grrr!!!
I tried downloading CS5 Extension manager to reinstall it, but when I did that it was forcing the installation the the non existant drive (I) I couldn't change the path and when I went to unistall the Extension Manager, there was no option for it to be removed??
So the question is... is there a way to have my extension manager find the products on the (L) drive???

we are running on crm7.1, i have configured agent inbox and the email functionality is working fine, we used ERMS in our scenario to route the emails to specific agents.
Issue is that: the emails are visible and availble to the agents but we are not able to see the attachments along with, In agent inbox , the attachment is not visible for opening or downloading.
Following has been done:
Email profile has been configured IN IC WEB CLIENT -> BASIC SETTINGS -> COMMUNICATION - > EMAIL PROFILE - > Display of HTML mails is enabled.
Email profile has been added in business role via functional profiles.
SM30 -> table SXPARAMS - > maintained MULTILVALUE/ALTERNATIVE with HTML ACCORDING TO THE NOTE.
Note 1787141 has been implemented in the system.
still, we are not able to view the attachments which were sent to [email protected] , while the agent logs on, he is able to see the email but not the attachment.
please let us know if we need to maintain any further settings to achieve this SIMPLE attachment functionality

SAP_BASIS is release 702 , level 0012, highest support SAPKB70212
BBPCRM is Release 701 with level 0009, highest support SAPKU70109.
