BB Classic in Blue

Hi!
Can you give us precise date for release of BlackBerry Classic in Blue color?
Thank you!
BR,
Pavels.

Another +1 for this. I have yet to purchase the classic as I am specifically waiting for the blue.
The white was supposed to be out in March. Today's the last day of March and it's not available, yet another example of blackberry dissappointing us. Please don't do the same with the blue...

  • How to recover classic Aqua Blue wallpaper after Lion clean install?

When I did a clean install of Lion I lost my lovely classic Aqua Blue (originally Tiger?) wallpaper.
An upgrade on a different Mac kept my original wallpaper.
How do I download and install that simple Aqua Blue one?
    Thanks.

Try this:  (1) On your Mac mount the disk in the Time Capsule (probably called "Data").  (2) In the "Data" volume locate and mount the "sparsebundle" image that contains the "old" backups.  (3) Click-and-hold on the Time Machine icon in the Dock, then choose from the pop-up menu the option to "Browse Other Time Machine Disks".  That should give you access to the old files.

  • Windows XP sp3 + iTunes 8 + New iPod Classic 120GB = Blue Screen Of Death

    HELP
My PC has just upgraded itself with Windows XP Service Pack 3, I have downloaded iTunes 8, and just today bought a new iPod Classic 120GB so I could enjoy the new Genius facility (my old iPod was a 20GB model from 2005). However I keep getting the Blue Screen Of Death whenever I plug in the new iPod, even if I start-up the computer with the iPod connected.
I've read other threads about this topic, but I've only seen people reporting this issue with Vista, not XP.
    - I'm thinking of uninstalling and re-downloading iTunes 8. Will it retain all playlists, album artwork etc.?
    - I'm also thinking of trying to connect with the iPod manually set to disk mode. Will this help to begin with?
Anyone got a fix for this problem yet....Apple?

As a follow-up to my questions above, I've now tried uninstalling and then re-installing iTunes 8 direct from the Download link at Apple.com. I still get the BSOD. I also tried with the new iPod 120GB manually set to disk mode. Again, still I get the BSOD. I also unplugged a couple of other USB peripherals from my PC (writing tablet, card reader), checked for any more Windows XP Updates, but still get the BSOD.
    Anyone got any more ideas?

  • I5 17''MBP  gets blue screen during install windows 7 32 bit

    Hello all:
I heard that quite many people get classic windows' "blue screen" during using windows , whatever Windows XP, Vista or 7. But now i face the "blue screen" during install Windows 7, which means I even can not complete installation.
I bought my Macbook Pro i5 17'' one month ago, and I'm trying to install Windows 7 but I face the problem during the installation. After finishing first 4 steps the computer would restart and start to "finish installation", but at this time it gets "blue screen" and shows "error: 0x0000009c" and stuck there. I have to shut down the turn off button and interrupt the installation.
I don't know if there's any one else face this unlucky situation. I searched on the net and it says the problem could be from memory, graphic card (too new), or even overlocking the cpu, whatever it must be the problem of hardware. I thought it might be the problem of compatible.
If anyone knows how to deal with this problem??!! I do need to use some software under Windows system!

It is good to see that it is indeed a USB2.
The support software on the USB is used in the Pre-boot environment setup and provides drivers for Apple specific hardware, GPU, BT, Mouse, etc. You can verify that by looking at the USB contents. The DVD contains generic drivers when hardware is not recognized as defaults to use. Apple does enough 'secret sauce' to make them different. The following does not explicitly state the USB2 need when using the DVD Installer and mentions W8 (not W7).
From Boot Camp: Creating an ISO image from a Windows installation DVD - Apple Support
Insert a blank USB 2 flash drive that is a least 16GB in size into a USB port on the computer. Boot Camp Assistant uses this drive to store the Windows 8 install media and support drivers during installation of Windows.
Note: This flash drive needs to be formatted for the FAT32 file system and must use the Master Boot Record partitioning scheme. Use Disk Utility to check the format of the flash drive before proceeding, and partition or erase the flash drive if necessary.
I suspect the GPU is not getting the correct driver and the Installer fails. The Generic VGA should work. From the OS X side, can you see files in your BC volume? If yes, can you look for logs in the BC volume at the following locations.
    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.dev.log
    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.offline.log
    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.setup.log

  • "The Interview" The Movie, Reviewed and Revealed

Well, we were having a nice Christmas Eve and one of the younger members of the family enters the room with his Apple computer and says, hey, let's watch The Interview, I have rented it online for $6.00, so what are we going to say, in the spirit of Christmas giving, we immediately stopped our Christmas classic in Blu-ray on my great new Oppo 105 D ultra Blu-ray player, a true classic, George C. Scott, The Christmas Carrol, so everyone could watch the new and way overly publicized, The Interview, BAD DECISION, oh my, worse than BAD!
Have you ever wasted two hours of your life that you can never get back on a worthless movie, well that is what we did, and we did it at Christmas, loosing that wonderful Christmas spirit to see a movie that is badly written, with a terrible story, is beyond worthless, crude, and only people with limited thinking capacity could even be remotely entertained, YES, it is that bad.  This movie is for teenagers from 13-15, not one second older as it's just immensely worthless, uninteresting, badly written, unreal childish humor, not funny, and did I say worthless, no it gives new profound meaning to the word worthless!  I was told it will be shown at one or more of the small theathers here in Nashville, and when this movie was over, I thought to myself and shared with my good friend, can you imagine how angy people are going to be after spending $10-15 each to see this worthless piece of trash, heck I was angry someone in our family lost $6.00.  You have no idea just how terrible this movie is, you must trust me on this.  Please, I beg you, be pattient, if you just must see it, wait for it on HBO, they show all sorts of junk, and this junk will make it's way on down the line to HBO much sooner than later.  If all the Sony cyber mess had not happened, this movie would be on HBO by next week, it would not make it to a drive in.  I read one very informative article that said people are so misguided thinking they are doing something patriotic by going to a theater to see this movie, and in reality Kim Jong un get's the last laugh, as he has been behind hacks for many years, and this just strengthens his position with his own people telling them we are trully the enemy of North Korea, and he is their savior.  The whole thing is pitiful, pitiful that Sony will make one dime off this worthless badly written movie, and that North Korea has any effect on the American people, he is like a house fly and not worth all this media coverage, we are playing right into his hands, but forget about Kim, I'm more worried about the American people wasting their hard earned money and two hours of their life and car fuel on probably one of the worst movies from Sony in a good long time, OK I HAVE WARNED YOU, I HOPE YOU LISTEN!

  • ITunes cannot contact the radio tuning service. How do I correct this issue (Window 7)? This error started 10 days ago, and has not corrected itself.

I have been using iTunes for over 10 years, and I have NEVER had this problem occur (repeatedly, all day long, every day). I have seen this error occur on occassion, but not consistently as it has been for the last 10 days. This is really getting me frustrated and quite upset, as there does not seem to be any reason for this error to be occurring. My internet connection is active (or I would not be able to list this here). I have gone through ALL of the troubleshooting topics, and nothing has worked to correct this problem.
I have uninstalled iTunes completely (as well as ALL supporting software, etc.) and reinstalled the program at least 10 times over the past 10 days. NOTHING IS WORKING as far as getting iTunes to "contact (or connect to) the radio tuning service".
Does anyone know what is causing this problem? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me privately at [email protected]
    Thank you.

It has not been working for me on any platform, any OS, anwhere since about last Friday. It has been reported many many times on this forum so I can only assume it's a known issue that will be fixed in time.
Interestingly some genres work, for instance Classical and Blues work but most others don't. I thought it was Apple's attempt to force some taste upon us but then I noticed sports radio works too. So much for that idea.
Also, if you have the playlist saved somewhere that still works too. It's only the "radio tuning service" that's borked.
By the way it's not a good idea to post your email address here, Apple Support Communities is secure from spambots but why tempt fate.

  • Adobe Reader xi: transparent toolbars and scrolling issues

Recently upgraded from v9 to v 11 on pc. Adobe Reader starts and opens PDFs. However, where the toolbars would normlly appear at the top of the screen they do not; instead there is space for the toolbars but the desktop is visible instead of the toolbars. The rest of Adobe Reader is visible on screen, e.g. the text of the pdf document being viewed, it is just the toolbars that don't appear; instead you can see through to the desktop where the toolbars would normally be. The toolbars are, in other words, completely transparent but the rest of Adobe Reader is visible. Other symptoms:
    - On scrolling within a PDF the text of the PDF becomes blurry and repeats itself down the screen
    - After a moment I also get an acrord32.exe error.
    - Tried to upgrade to Adobe Flash 11.7.700.169 and install failed: 'Unable to load application configuration'.
    - During all this System Restore crashed loosing previous restore points; this may be a coincidence.
    BACKGROUND
    - Adobe Reader v9.5.1 worked fine pre upgrade
    - In 'add/rempove programs' v9.5.1 is still installed; if I try to uninstall I get: 'This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it...."
    - Running on xp sp 3

  • Log in loop (MacBook early 2008 ver. with OS X 10.5.5)

Hi, I really need some help on this, it's really urgent.
I don't think updating to OS X 10.5.5 was anytime recent, so I don't think that's the cause of my problem.
I was using my M.B. as usual, and I just found a input plug-in called "CantonIM" on the web (I'm chinese, living in HK). It was designed for OS X 10.4(but it states that it should work on any newer OS), so I just tried to install it in my MacBook.
It's instructions were to log out and log in again after I added the file to the "input methods" file in "Library", So that's what I did.
And after logging out, I freaked out to find that after I logged in, it automatically logs out again within a few seconds(kind of like the other couple cases which I saw here). It loads everything just fine, menu bar and dock, I can even start up softwares if my hand is quick enough. But it still goes to the classic blank blue screen, then jumps back to the log in page without saying anything.
I'm not sure if the input plug-in thing has anything to do with this problem, but that just happens to take place exactly before this problem occurred.
Anyone know what I can do?
I really need to get into my account quick, because all my homework is in there.
    Please help!
    Thanks !!

    HI,
    Try a different Airport Channel
Open AirPort Utility, located in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder on a computer using Mac OS X.
Select the device you’re setting up, and then click Manual Setup. Enter the base station password if necessary
Click AirPort in the toolbar, and then click Wireless.
Choose a new channel from the Channel pop-up menu.
    Click: Update
    Quit Airport Utility

  • Point-to-point wireless?

I have a 4 machine wired network (3 macs, 1 dell) that I'm quite happy with, so I'ved ignored the wireless world so far, except for synching my Bluetooth phone.
I'd like to add a 4th Mac (an old G3 classic Bondi Blue iMac) that's a couple rooms away from my prime network.
My latest alum/glass Intel iMac apparently has wireless built in. Can I stick an 802.11G USB stick in my old Mac in the other room and essentially establish a one-to-one connection. Or, do I still need to buy a wireless router like Airport or equivalent? All I want is net access and (rare) file transfer from the other room by connecting to my networked Intel mac. Nothing else... not even printing.

Wow... thanks! That's really the answer I wanted to hear!
I still need to pick up a USB adapter for the remote machine. I'll report back later.
I'm a bit concerned about the distance factor. The remote machine is probably 30 feet away if I could see through walls, but there ARE walls, and since I'm in a high rise apartment, one or two of them may be concrete.
Guess I won't know until I try though.
    Thanks for the super-prompt reply.

  • How can I find the ipod music selctions?

Setting up my ipod was not a problem - but I have no earthly clue how to get to the itunes store. I am over 50 but not a dunce - however, this just shouldn't be so complicated. I tried doing an artist search, but the tiny album covers are simply unreadable. There is waaaay too much "stuff" on these sites. All I want is to click one button and find the store! I want to spend my money here but it is too complicated. I know I am not the only one of my generation to be so frustrated. I will have to look for other music download options if this isn't made easier.

To go to the store, just click on the iTunes Store green icon in the source list of your iTunes player. You need internet connection for it to work. After you click that, there will be something displayed in a few seconds. For music, click on Music on the upper left side of the iTunes store. For your age group, I am guessing something like classical, jazz, blues, vocal is the prefered genres of choice. To get to those genres and others, after you click on Music, scroll down the page and to the left part of the store, there are genres that you can click to brouse musics. Once you click on that, go to the far right and there is something like Top Downloads. Those songs are the most downloaded songs of the last 24 hours, which could mean that most people prefer those songs. Now if you have something that you know you want to and know some information of the song, you can search for it by putting the entry on the upper right part of the iTunes program where it says Search. Hope this helps.

  • Newbie - sounds not all loaded?

Hello all. Recent convert from a pc and sonar.
So far liking my mac and I just downloaded logic 9. Cool stuff. So I can use a good bit of the sounds but a large number of the organs I cannot use. The download hung on me so I had to restart the mac and then it resumed so I assumed it downloaded it all but now I'm skeptical.
Any thoughts on this as I do some classic rock / blues and I really like the organ behind it all. ;-)

  • Blue screen when re-opening iTunes 9.0.3 w/ iPod Classic already plugged in

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or something similar.
I have already reported this as a potential bug to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
This is regarding iTunes 9.0.3.15 for Windows
Potential bug: Windows blue screen (SYSTEMSERVICEEXCEPTION) when re-opening iTunes with iPod Classic 120GB already plugged into USB port.
I have been able to replicate this problem twice now. Here are the exact steps:
    1. Plug iPod Classic 120GB (bought new in November 2008) into a USB port and iTunes opens and syncs (I have it set to manually manage my iPod).
    2. Use iTunes for a bit, then click the eject icon next to my iPod in iTunes (when it's not syncing) but leave iPod plugged into the USB port (to charge).
    3. Close iTunes and use Internet Explorer for a few minutes and close Internet Explorer (with no other apps running).
    4. Open iTunes. iTunes connects to iPod (iPod screen shows "Connected").
    5. Scroll through the iTunes Music Library in List view, click any music file and a Windows Blue Screen appears (SYSTEMSERVICEEXCEPTION), does a memory dump and then forces the computer to restart.
So far, the blue screen only occurs under these specific circumstances. I do not know if this problem existed before iTunes 9.0.3.15 as I have never tried the above steps in earlier versions. I just happened to be able to retrace my steps to notice the blue screen problem in 9.0.3.15
This is the first time I have ever encountered a Windows Vista blue screen error in the year and half I have used Vista.
I am running Windows Vista SP1 64-bit on an HP Pavilion dv7-1014ca notebook.

I've gotten the exact same error message and problem... When I connect my iPod Nano 3Gen, iTunes comes up -- syncing begins -- and then immediately triggers a blue screen with the SystemServiceException error and a crash dump is generated. I have been unable to find a resolution in 3-4 weeks of searching, including HP Technical Support, trolling the Windows 7 Support sites, and now, here. The Advice given by HP was to uninstall all USB drivers and let reboot reinstall them. That didn't work. Then they asked me to reboot my PC, hit F10 until the BIOS came up, and then find and disable the "enable legacy USB" capability -- except that no such setting is available in my BIOS. Obviously it's a driver issue, and just as obviously it's a Windows 7 / iTunes issue -- but no one is offering a solution, yet.

What do I need to buy in order for my IPod Classic 160 GB to connect with my blue tooth Ultimate Ears Boom speaker?

Upgrading RAM and your HD will give you some performance gains, but depending on what you are doing, it may not be enough. Your best friend will always be processor speed. This has a direct relation to how many cores and the speed of the RAM.
However, if you are unable to spring for a new computer, then the options of running more RAM and a biggger, faster HD should ruduce some bottle necks.
Here is a site where you can check out what your computer can handle http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade They have some charts comparing speed gains with various components.
