BB Curve 8250 Problem deleting MMS/SMS

Hi,
I have a one day old BB Curve 8250 and I have deleted most of the messages received and sent in the SMS/MMS section.  However I have one sent SMS and one received MMS that will not delete at all (I have read both) and it is driving me mad.  It is a UK phone on O2.
Can anyone help please

On my iphone, when I get into Messages, I see a list of message thread names and at the top right is an icon with a square and pencil coming out of it.  If I tap it, I can begin composing a new message with having to deal with any others.
If on your screen you see one or more message "bubbles", then press the "Messages" button at the upper left to go back to the home page for messages.  There you can tap the compose icon.

  • When I do a backup of iPhone/iPad, are my MMS/SMS saved incrementall?

    This is to say:
I usually do a backup.  If, after a while, I get loaded down with SMS/MMS messages on my iPhone I want to delete them conversations.
I don't want to lose all of my older messages from the past.
When iTunes does a backup of the device, does it do a backup of the CURRENT state of the messages on the device and overwrite what was backed up earlier?  In that case, everything that was old would be deleted.
Or does iTunes do incremental backups?  Stuff from 2012 and 2013 backed up.  If I back up stuff now, even if I deleted some conversations in MMS/SMS, that won't affect what's already backed up, right?  Just means there's nothing to add to the backup that already exists?

A backup via either iCloud or iTunes will capture what is currently on your phone and is only designed to restore the entire backup to your phone or another iOS device in the event of a problem. The restore would include only the things in the last backup and would restore not just messages but everything included in the backup. If you want to keep a complete history of your messages you should explore a 3rd party method such as http://www.wideanglesoftware.com

  • I just bought an iPhone 5. My iPhone 4 has all my music on it, mail, mms, sms, notes, videos, photos and apps. How do I transfer the music etc to my new iPhone using icloud?

I just bought an iPhone 5. My iPhone 4 has all my music on it, mail, mms, sms, notes, videos, photos and apps. How do I transfer the music etc to my new iPhone? - icloud? - homesharing?

    I just bought an iPhone5
To ensure my old iPhon4 was backed up i...
         1. Deleted the iPhone4 backup from iTunes prefs(devices)
         2. I then sycnched the iPhone4 to get a new backup of the old Phone.
I then installed my new iPhone5 from the fresh backup of the old iPhone4
This way i got my new iPhone5 exactly as my old iPhone4
Screens all looked the same, EVERYTHING the same.
Some minor adjustments were needed afterwards.
    Hope this helps.

  • Curve 8250 - PC and Device Software Do Not See Memory Card

Curve 8250 (Unlocked), v5.0.0.1036 (Platform 5.2.0.104), no provider - no SIM card installed. 16 GB MicroSD card installed and formatted and shows total space at 14.9 GB. Phone sees the card and puts camera shots on it. Have Media Card Support On, Mass Storage Mode Support On and Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected Yes. When MicroSD is removed from phone and put is card reader, the format and files look fine. When connected by USB to computer, the BlackBerry Device Software shows the phone memory, but no MicroSD and Windows 7 Disk Management shows Disk 1 Removable 14.91 GB Online with assigned (D), but with format of RAW (always asks to format card)? Have tried everything I can find online with no success. Hopefully, this is not because no SIM card installed.  Please let me know why I can’t see the MicroSD correctly when connected via USB to phone. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the Error 99 code is not a specific error code and can indicate a number of issues, such as battery power issues, shutter issues, etc.  The more I looked into the 350D and memory card compatibility the more I think that may not be the issue.  In all honesty, I'd contact Canon support as you may have to send your camera in for repairs.
Before doing that, though, I'd try this. Restart your camera, wait a few moments then set the camera's power to Off and remove the batteries.  Open the memory card slot cover to make sure the memory card is securely set in the card slot, then reinsert the batteries and turn the power to On. Hopefully that will do the trick, and if not I'd update the firmware for the camera as a last resort and see if that rectifies the problem.  If not, contact customer support.

  • Sporadic loss of MMS/SMS

8350i w/OS 5.0; carrier: Sprint/Nextel.  problem persists from day 1 (2 years ago) thru all OS upgrades.  For no ascertainable reason, MMS/SMS sporadically stops working (email/phone/internet not affected).  The only way I know is when I try to text out and get the red "x" or friends call me and ask why I haven't returned their texts.  Fixed by turning off then on (hard reset not necessary) - then texts come pouring through.  I've called tech assistance.  Followed their instructions.  They did some resets over the air.  Made me change a few settings.  Nothing has worked.  Still have this annoying problem.

    I have the same problem!

  • HT3529 i have a problem with mms in my iPhone 5s when m trying to send MMS

i have a problem with mms in my iPhone 5s when m trying to send MMS then a message appears on the screen 'cannot send messageMMS Messaging needs to be enabled to send this message' but in settings there is no setting available to inable MMS in message settings

Had the same problem. Have you checked your Cellular Data Network MMS fields? You should write there your MMS settings (APN, username, password, mmsc, mms proxy and mms max message size). You can get the data from your carrier. After that you could need to restart iPhone.  Worked for me.

How can I delete Skype SMS messages from my I-Pad?

This is a user-to-user forum. Everyone here is a volunteer. Sometimes it takes longer than two minutes to get answer. Additionally, it's a support forum for Apple products, not Skype. You might get lucky and get an answer, you might not. While you're waiting, why don't you try Skype support?

  • If I delete an SMS message en route, is there a chance the recipient still receives it?

I have iOS 5, and my question pertains to standard SMS, not iMessage.
I live in an area with a poor cell signal.  I often get message send failures in SMS.  Other times, it goes through but takes a long time.  The only upside to this is that it gives me a chance to retract a message before I get a send confirmation.  Is it safe to assume a message deleted while the progress bar is still up won't be sent?  Is it safe to assume that the recipient only sees a message after the progress bar has completed?
I may have a case of texter's remorse, and it would be reassuring to know for sure.

Hello out there .... disappointed no one has replied, but I've learned something new related to my question: message send failures don't necessarily mean the message doesn't get sent.
A few days after I posted this, a friend of mine informed me that she received a truncated message from me four times.  This was a long message where I had Send Failure alerts four times.  Assuming it didn't go through, I hit the red exclamation point and retried each time.  So, it appears that when sending text messages in an area with a very weak cellular signal, messages may go through in partial chunks, even when a send failure is alerted.
Anyone else experience this to corroborate?
And I still would like to know: does deleting an SMS before the progress bar has completed revoke the message from being sent?  This is true of email, so I've assumed it's also true for text messages.  But now I'm not so sure.

  • Problem in sending SMS?????????

    hi all,
i have problem in sending sms using wma.its arises exception about "port format", whats the problem is???? anybody help me??

    firstway
Please be clear on this. I have not accused you or anyone else of being dishonest. I have merely stated a point of fact, that sending a mail to an unknown recipient is not good policy.
Forums are anyhow meant for open discussion, not as a gateway to private communication.
No offence, but my daily schedule is just busy enough to make me not want to engage in Yahoo! or any other chat.
    All the best, Darryl

  • Problem with sending sms - nokia x3

    Hello,
I've got a problem with sending sms in my nokia x3 - actually with recently used number. I sent messages, but the list is the same. There is only one number although I used many more. I removed this number from the list, but is still here. I also tried to turn off the phone and pull out the battery, restart factory setting but there's no change.
    Could somebody help me, please?
p.s. Sorry, but my english isn't well. I hope the post is understood

Check if there is any relation with the LOG... When you clear the log.. (selecting ALL).. is it removing details from the RECENTLY USED too...
To confirm this select Clear Log.. and check if that one no. you are talking about still remains or not.. If its no more there means you must have cleared the log just before using the last no. that is appearing..

  • Problem deleting unused InfoObject

    Dear All,
We have encountered a problem deleting an unused InfoObject getting the following messages :-
Data element /BIC/OIPTBTAUDIT still used in table/view STRU_453SRKYRVVCCB1I7ZI5ZXNXRO
Data element /BIC/OIPTBTAUDIT still used in table/view STRU_453TM6SZNZKT8RYRKNBZ0H3G4
Data element /BIC/OIPTBTAUDIT still used in table/view STRU_453TMH1OY4IU2TWBCQGCF3DTG
Data element /BIC/OIPTBTAUDIT still used in table/view STRU_453TNP7PZ3CK6FQ8WLWY8E01G
Now these structures look like transfer structures but we have removed the object from all such structures and have ran where used in RSD1 and this object is not used anywhere !
Please help as this object needs removing and recreating with the same technical name.
    You help is much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Craig
P.S. These structures are marked as Generated structures.

Go to the info object in RSA1 in change mode and click edit - where used.
You  will get a list of other objects where this object is used.
Delete the data in the cube. Delete the object from the cube and dimension of the cube. If you have more than one cube and ODS that uses this object, pl do the same for cube and ODS.
Remove the object from the comm structure and other data marts.
Delete the data in the info object.
Delete the from the info object.
Now, again go to the info object and see the where used list.
    The list should be list.
Now, you are all set to delete the object.
Finally create another one with the same name .
