My calendar on my iPad wont sync into my iPhone 5 calendar, please help

You did understand and yes you suppose to sign in with the same account, that you told me you checked and found the same. If you can't sign in, which is hard to imagine after your description and it gives you that message. That would really mean that no icloud account with your credentials have been created.
    1. Lets try to get to that site again. www.icloud.com. Should be a black page with sign in fields. Once you sign in you should see 7 icons, one of them being your calendars.
2 Open those and follow previous directions.
OOOOO Do it on the computer. NOT AN IPAD OR PHONE. Those can't get there.

  • Why will my icloud calendar not sync between my iphone and calendar on Outlook PC?

Why will my icloud calendar not sync between my iphone and calendar on Outlook PC?

I think I may be having the same issue In a round about kind of way.  Just got an iPhone4S ... everything worked great until today when I started tinkering with the settings in my new phone and noticed my cloud was getting full and I had two iPhone back ups on there at 4GB a piece.  So.... I deleted the old back up of the iPhone4 and after that is when I started noticing issues.  The cloud on my phone can no longer authenticate itself , unable to tell me when the last back up was, and will not perform a back up at all. Furthermore I am unable to download apps or updates on my iphone4S, they all sit in "waiting" status....
I also must say that I purchased an iPad 2 and still have my original ipad in the house and active.  Both back ups are in the cloud and both devices work fine independently and can download apps and back up fine as well. I'm pretty sure this may be the culprit concerning this issue and I too have no idea how to fix it. Please Help!!!

  • How do I sync my iPhone calendar entries back into my MacBook Pro Calendar?

I can't get appointments scheduled via Siri to update or sync bact to my MacBook Pro.  I have iCloud, and I have iTunes synced, but the appointments scheduled in iPhone's Calendar do not appear in the MacBook Calendar.

If you are syncing your calendar with iCloud on both your phone and your MBP, check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) to be sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default.  Then try adding a new event on your iPhone calendar and see if it syncs to your MBP now.

  • Calendar Not Syncing - Windows XP and Outlook

My calendar has been syncing fine since the last time it crashed a couple months ago. Now it doesn't sync at all; no events move in either direction. I've done everything suggested on the support pages:
    Hard Reset
    Reset Sync History
    Disable third-party Outlook add-ins (there were/are none)
    Reinstalled iTunes
I even restored the iPhone to the factory settings and am ONLY sync'ing the calendar. When I hit the sync button, iTunes claims it's syncing my calendar...and it says that for about two minutes. But nothing changes.
What else can I do? I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance

    I have the same problem.
Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 8 my Airport Express has disappeared from the screen and was not detected ever since. Also my Outlook 2003 calendar stopped syncing. The stupid self help steps on the apple support site did (of course) not help. Are there actually any Apple programmers or support staff reading all these complaints? I haven't seen a single helpful post for this problem - nothing, nada, nix! And there are quite some complaints about this problem out there!
With the previous versions of iTunes everything worked fine and I regularly synced my iPhone 3G and played music through Airtunes. Now I spend hours on the net looking for help.
Is it a problem of the itunesoutlookaddin.dll file??? I don't know. The only thing I know is that iTunes does not find the calendar anymore. In the iTunes synchronisation window it does not show my calendar anymore. You can choose the option "Outlook" but it doesn't show my specific calendar. I can only click the option "All Calendars" - but without any result. At the same time it shows my Outlook mail account correctly.
It's very frustrating, especially because my Nokia syncs without a single hickup - it just works...

  • I'm having problems with syncing my iphone 4s calendar with google calendar.  google calendar will sync with phone but phone calendar won't sync with google calendar.

I can't get my iphone 4s calendar to sync with google calendar.  I can sync the other way i.e from google to iphone.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

You need to transfer your iTunes library from your old computer to your new computer per the instructions included with this link.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
If you don't do this per the instructions included with the link, all iTunes content on your iPhone will be erased with the first sync. If you haven't transferred photos from your old computer to your new, any photos on your iPhone that were transferred from your previous computer will be erased when selecting to transfer any photos from your new computer.
Not sure how cancelling a sync with iTunes and importing photos/videos from the Camera Roll with iPhoto could have an effect on your GPS reception and location services.

  • ICloud calendar/contacts sync on PC via Outlook 2010 - clumsy or me?

I recently added iCloud to sync calendar, contacts and tasks from Outlook 2010 on my PC to my iPhone 4s.
Generally it works well. If I add a contact on the iPhone, the PC Outlook syncs it fairly quickly via the cloud and works in reverse as well. Exactly what I was hoping for.
After a week or so, I noticed a few irregularities which I am confused about. Not in syncing the data but what it did to my PC Outlook 2010 calendar.
In installing the iCloud sync, I saw that iCloud copied my calendar items to another calendar named iCloud calendar and deleted all of the calendar items from the "default" Outlook calendar. But they are not really deleted from the "default" calendar. I guess I was not expecting this level of intrusion by iCloud. Not a huge issue but I am still getting some alerts from the iCloud calendar and the "normal" Outlook calendar which is apparently duplicating the alerts. This is issue 1. In Outlook 2010 you can check which calendar you want to see and not include some calendars if you prefer.  I have defaulted to ony checking the iCloud calendar and not the default Outlook calendar.
The other issue is since the iCloud calendar sort of replaced the "default" calendar in Outlook 2010, the Outlook menu structure defaults to the Outlook default calendar and contacts (which is now empty) and so I have to constantly change "which contact store or calendar store to look into" in Outlook to do many functions such as find people in contacts, email addressing (using the Outlook "recent people you have emailed cache") which is a bit of a pain and seems to be necessary far to often.
So, I am asking the community; do I need to make some other setting options (IPhone 4s or Outlook 2010 on the PC) to return to a more automatic selection of the iCloud contact and calendar store so that I don't have to constantly keep changing the "look into" option?
Maybe to confuse this even further, I have a new iPad 2 which I would like to keep the calendar and contacts synched via iCloud.
I hope I have articulated this well enough as the issue seems to be a bit complicated to describe.
    Thx DD

I had the EXACT same problem and heard about CodeTwo Sync for iCloud. I downloaded and installed the 30-day trial version. So far I love it! After 30 days it reverts to only syncing the Calendar for free. Its $10 to buy the license key to keep it syncing Calendar and Contacts and Tasks. I'm NOT syncing Tasks with it because I've been using Toodledo and it works well with Categories (Contexts in Toodledo) for doing the GTD system, although I'm looking into other ways I may be use iCloud for my Outlook Tasks WHILE MAINTAING CATEGORIES.
I'm probably going to buy the CodeTwo Sync for iCloud within the 30 day trial. It does exactly what you want it to do: syncs the iCloud account folder with your default Outlook modules/folders - AUTOMATICALLY - without having to do anything (clicking, etc.). THAT's what I'M talkin' about!

  • Contacts and Calendar not syncing from phone to outlook

I am having a problem with my iphone 4 that I never with my iphone 3G and not sure how long its been going on.
When I had my iphone 3 whenevewr I would create or change a contact or a calendar event it would sync with my outlook info. Now if I make a change or add a contact or calendar event from my phone it doesn't change it in my outlook. But if I do it from outlook it shows up on my phone. For example I added a birthday for July 4th and its not showing up in my outlook calendar. Its created this new category on my phone for birthdays.
Same thing with my contacts. If I add a contact on my phone it doesn't sync with outlook it puts it under my iphone contacts on my phone. HELP!!

*Sync Your iPhone With Your Outlook Calendar Using iTunes*
1.Open iTunes and check to make sure that you have the most recent version. Do this by clicking on "Help" and then clicking on "Check for Updates."
2.Use the cable that came with your iPhone to connect it directly to your computer. This will automatically launch iTunes. Select "iPhone" from the iTunes source list. Click on the "Info" tab in iTunes.
3.Click on the "Sync Outlook calendars" option. Click on "Apply" in the lower-right corner of your screen. Your computer will now sync with your iPhone based on your settings.

I recently got the latest Desktop Software. For some reason my Outlook calendar no longer syncs with my Blackberry. When I go under Organizer in the Desktop Software, MemoPad Address Book & Tasks are all checked off and working, however, Calendar isnt checked and in brackets beside it says Not Installed. No idea why this is or how I install it to make it work again.
    Any help very much appreciated!

  • Calendar not syncing on iOS 7, now calendars have disappeared.

    Hi all,
Just recently I noticed my Calendar on my iPhone 4 with iOS 7 was not syncing correctly.
My Mac and iCloud.com are correctly in sync.
After following the troubleshooting steps (iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Calendar) I got to the stage where I deleted the calendars on my iPhone as part of the process of turning off my iCloud calendars, and turning them back on. I had backed them up, and they still work on my Mac and iCloud.com.
Now I have no calendars on my iPhone, and can't seem to add any new ones, or get the sync to work. Ive tried all the steps in the troubleshooting.
Has anyone experienced and solved anything similar?
    Thanks!
    Jon

If you haven't already tried, save your photo stream photos to your camera roll on your phone, then delete you iCloud account and sign back in.  To do this, saving your photo stream photos by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, scroll down and tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from your phone, not from iCloud), choose Delete from My iPhone and provide your password when prompted (your data will still be in iCloud).  Wait a minute or so, then sign back in (your data will download back to your phone).  Then test your calendar syncing again.

  • How can you restore photos that haven't been synced into a desktop or connected with iCloud

I was updating my iPod to the latest version, but something went wrong. It was restoring it right after, but it wasn't able to recover my photos and videos. I didn't use iCloud at that time or sync the photos and videos.

  • Sync iphone5 with PC Outlook calendar

How can my PC Outlook Calendar and iPhone5 Calendar be sync?  Previously, my Outlook calendar appointments were showing on my iphone5 too.  But stopped about 2 months.

I'm assuming this is a standalone calendar, not synced to a central exchange server, right?
There are two ways: cloud, and non-cloud.  If your computer is new enough to support the "cloud control panel", follow the instruction here:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3404844?start=0&tstart=0
If you do this, your calendar will automatically be synchronized through the cloud.
Otherwise, connect your iPhone to the computer, select it and bring up the "info" tab.  Click "Sync calendars" and select "Outlook".  In this case, your device will be updated when you sync the phone to this computer.  Note, you *can* sync calendars to a different computer than you sync music and videos to.

  • Sync from ical to Google calendar

Oddly I found this info nowhere on the net. There's lots of advice to sync Google to iCal, but getting the iCal calendars already on your mac synced to Google ? Things become hugely complicated and mostly require 3rd party apps. When in fact it's relatively simple.
    1) Sync Google to iCal. Google based calendars will appear underneath your desktop based calendars in the left hand bar of iCal. Google calendars are synced fine, but your desktop calendars are not, and that is the problem (for the moment).
    2) Select (highlight) one of your desktop calendars. File - Export and save the file somewhere on your Mac.
    3) In Google Calendar (on the internet, not in iCal), create a new calendar and give it the name of the desktop calendar you just exported.
    4) In Google Calendar, choose Import and select the file you created on your Mac. Assign it to the new calendar you created in Google.
Bingo, the calendar now appears in Google under the same name as your desktop. It also reappears a few moments later in iCal (when iCal resyncs with Google) under the Google section in the left hand bar of iCal. BUT all the entries for that calendar now appear double in iCal, once for the desktop version and once for the Google version. So :
    5) Deselect the desktop version (or remove it - you can always reimport the exported file if necessary)
    6) Proceed the same way for the rest of your desktop based calendars.
You now have all your calendars both on Google and iCal (including all past events) and they will remain synced from now on. No third party app required. The only limitation I've seen so far is that you can't create calendar groups (to archive the calendars you no longer need, for example) in Google.
    Hope this helps.

I thought the answer would be CalDav. Publishing your calendars to your server or mobileme. But when I did this nothing showed up in Gcal.

  • My ipad has stopped syncing my calendar. Both iPhone and ipad.  After going to the setting - mail, contacts, calendar my Ipad has no where under the calendar category for default calendar.  How can I get my calendar to sync between iPhone and ipad???

Up until recently my calendar were syncing (between my iPhone 4 & ipad mini). They are no longer synching.  I have searched and everything matches to all the resolutions, the problem is on my ipad under Calendars in the settings there is no option for "default calendar". Every other option matches to what is on my phone, just the default calendar option is missing.  The default email is the same for both.  Help!!!!
    Thank you
    Penelope190

An interesting additional symtom is that items loaded in the PC (which immedialely duplicate to the iCloud calendar on eht PC - no worries, there) do not transpose the devices (as above) but, loading an item into the phone, it goes to the PC (which is fine, too).  But not to the iPad.  Interestingly, there fewer calendar display options on the iPad than on the phone.
I talked to Apple a few months ago (after ISO 5) - mainly about the 6000 plus addresses that suddenly appeared in my Contacts - and his advice was do all contact and calendar actions on the PC.  "icloud is still faulty"
So there we are!   I must have items and reminders in my PC - it is my main work station - and need them on my devices to avoid conflicts when away from my office.
