BB desktop manager (DM) keeps asking me to update to 5.0 & i'm already at 5.0

I've already updated my phone to v5.0.0.699, yet the Desktop Manager just said that there is another update available for my phone (The OS, not one of the apps.)
everytime i connect to bb dm v5.0.1 i receive this message:
Updated versions of the applications listed below are available for your device.
and it lists

now.. i KNOW i have all of these app updates because when i bought the phone, it was on these veresions.
BUT... i was sooooo annoyed w/this recurring message i went ahead and clicked 'update now' went through the 30min upgrade of my entire bb and the very next time i connected to bb dm... i received the same exact message.
super annoying.
anyone know WHY this is happening? is there a way to stop DM from stating i have to update. i've tried turning off check for updates automatically, and it still pops up this message.
of course i can just continue to hit 'cancel' and perform my syncs, but it would be nice to know if there is a fix/way around this.

My first BlackBerry Storm 2 recently died. Starting rebooting partially, then flashing a white screen with a small "RESET" window, then rebooting again, over and over. Had upgraded to 5.0 a few weeks before. Verizon gave me a new Storm 2, but I keep getting the same "do you want to upgrade" message before every sync, even though the phone already has 5.0. Yes, I don't think we're alone. Look forward to a solution.

Running snow leopard 10.6.8,safari 5.1.10-yahoo mail keeps asking me to update my browser but there's no link. Does it think I'm running Mavericks or what;s going on. Have carried out updates

Problem is with Yahoo mail which keeps asking me to update my Safari browser but everything is up to date as far as I can tell. Have reset Safari & empties cache.
But no change- every time I go to open Yahoo mail it goes to a page with update boxes for Firefox & Safari asking me to upgrade but on hitting Safari upgrade box it just takes me to an Apple page that explains the benefits of the new Safari ( Mavericks maybe ) with no option to upgrade. Can anyone suggest an answer to this annoyance.

Your post is pretty lengthy and I have to admit I didn't read it all. Please try restarting in Safe Mode, if that doesn't work please do both a SMC and PRAM reset. These may take 2-3 attempts.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

NCF keeps asking to be updated

I have a few machines where the NCF keeps asking to be updated. They
get the little popup at least once a day. Only solution is to check the
box that basically says don't ask me anymore.
I have check the dates on all the modules and they are all up to snuff.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. All machines
are W2K pro SP4 with the same patches installed but different hardware.

To purchase from iTunes you are required to fill in an address section under the billing info. You don't have to put in a credit card, just a name and address, so that iTunes can send you receipts later.
I had to do this when I first started buying things from iTunes, you just go to Account>Billing Address> Edit

My operating system is Mac OSX, version 10.6.8. I use Safari, version 5.1.8. I realize the latest version of Flash is 11.6.602, but when I typed my question to you, I could only remember 11.6.6. It was 11.6.602.180 that I had tried to download. and thought I did download and install, until the pop-up said I need the latest version of Flash. Unless I try again, I can't get the screen shot of the pop-up. I will try after the holiday to send you that.

If you don't have a balance the option for none should show up. If it does not or it gives you the message that there was billing issue with a previous purchase you will have to satisify the balance with either a credit or debit card attached to a bank account. Before going further try to confirm what version of Firefox you do have.
What do you see looking at ''about firefox'' from the help menu ? I ask because your ''System Details'' are showing Firefox 3.6.17 not the current version Firefox 4.0.1.
If you turn off the option to display the menu toolbar do you see the firefox button in the top left and do you get an option to use [why are tabs on top?|tabs on top], both are features of Firefox 4.

The Creative Cloud app keeps telling me that I have an update for Photoshop CC to 14.2, but I've already installed the update (several times). I confirmed that it's been installed in 'About Photoshop.' Also when I launch Photoshop CC, I keep getting asked to complete my registration even though I've already registered it on this computer. I have the same issue. In fact it's been going on for weeks. Originally, both Photoshop CC and Bridge were indicating an available update every day. However, today I got fed up with it and removed all Adobe stuff; Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, Creative Cloud, and Adobe Application Manager. I then reinstalled Creative Cloud along with Photoshop and Bridge. Now Bridge seems to be fixed but Photoshop still tells me there is an update available even though it's already on the latest version.
Hey Adobe, how about fixing this issue? It should be trivial to fix which is why it amazes me that it's still happening. If you're not going to support your customer I don't see why your customers should support you.

My os is windows 8.1. I use firefox. I play facebooks farmville 2. It keeps asking me to install the new 3d flash player which is already installed. I've followed your steps and nothing has worked. I cannot play farmville 2 on firefox because of the necessity of installing the flash player which is already installed.

Are you using AdBlock Pro or another ad-blocking or anti-tracking technology? If so, you should try disabling it.
