BB language software?

My 8330 came with Chinese-simp, Chinese-trad, and Korean character/font support pre-installed. Does BB have similar software for other languages?

Hello Magneto,
You can contact your wireless service provider to see what other languages are supported.
If you have the BlackBerry Desktop Manager installed, you can download the device software from your carriers website or by clicking http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
which has all the applications and languages available for your device.
Thank you and have a great day!

    Hi Friends,
we are deploying the SP1 via SCCM 2012 , and the success rate is around 50 %, its a Light touch installation where user will initiate the installation via Software Center ( Web based )
i was able to gather few errors , and this are the errors which failed during SP1 Installation 0x800f0828,
some errors which sccm reports display are
    11171
    10008
    10021-
    17031 -
    1602 - User Cancelled installation
113 - No more internal file identifiers available
10070 - File handle reference is no longer available
    10050 - A socket operation encountered a dead network
11170  - The task sequence manager could not successfully complete execution of the task sequence
i could not find the reason for some of the errors, also i am looking for a fix/woraround if any
Also i have noticed that in few computers the task seq failed at a place where after the sp1 installation a reboot happens and then PGP BYPASS utility is uninstalled, it did not start the PGP bypass uninstall after reboot
is there a way to cut short the Task seq and keep it simple ?
    right now its like this
    1. checking for prerequisite : checks for OS Name and OS version
    2. installs PGP Bootgaurd Bypass
    3. System Restart
    4. Installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1
    5. Final Restart
    6. uninstall PGP Bootgaurd Bypass

    Hi, Jesse.
This Google search will show you several options.
When looking for software, you should search Google or sites like MacUpdate or Version Tracker.
    Good luck!

  • Buying native language software

My family have recently bought 3 iMacs (+ MBAir and ipods etc) and really enjoy using them. Our intention is to run a business from home and this hardware fits the bill for our creative aspirations. However, there is a HUGE problem for us. We live in Spain and however hard we try, we cannot buy new software in English without contacting Apple and making a special arrangement. This takes days and is on the whole pretty irritating. I would like to upgrade to Quicktime Pro but again, it is only available in Spanish through the Spanish store.
I really think Apple should consider this problem because there must be thousands of expats across the world who would prefer to buy software in their native tongue but are limited by location. Interestingly, the original software that came with my Mac is English so it must be possible.

    Hi(Bonjour)!
There are usually many languages bundled with Apple software. I do not know if FCE include spanish.
The specific language you choose when you buy the software set the language for packaging and paper documentation.
The users have 2 ways to set language for application.
First, use the international pref panel and drag the desired language on top of the list (as suggested earlier in this topic). Your mac will use this language. All application (like QT player in your question) will use this language.
The second way is to select the application icon and use the get infos command (COMMAND-i). From this point uncheck the undesired languages. The next time you'll start this app, this settings will bypass the system language.
Example: I use my mac in French, but I use Final Cut express in english (for forum purpose) using this tips.

  • N72 Language Software

    Hi,
I'm on vacation in Bangladesh and I'm going to buy a N72 here. Since I am a permanent German resident i need a German language pack installed on the phone. So my question is can i download the language pack somewhere or do I have to go to the caretaker center? And does the language update if i download the latest firmware from the german website?
    Please reply
    Thank you

There are no user-installable "language packs".
The Nokia Software Updater (NSU) looks at the product code, and uses that to determine what is the latest firmware version avilable for the phone based on what it was manufactured with. So, NSU will also put the same languages on the phone, which were there when the phone was manufactured.
A Nokia repair center might be able to help you, but it is probably safest to buy the phone in country where German is spoken, and then from a reputable reseller, and you're most likely to get the language you want.

  • Rosetta Stone Language software

I have Rosetta Stone French and cannot figure out how to install it. All the audio options are there, but I only have option for .exe files. How do I install this on my Macbook?

if all you have is .exe files then you cannot. .exe files are for windows machines and not macs, so if you have bootcamp installed and xp on your macbook, then you can download it on the xp, but not on OSX. sorry. hope this helps.

  • Default Software Language is German - Should be in English !!!

I have recently purchased a writers software which is advertised in the Apple iMac App Store
in English and is supposed to be in English, however the default language is German.
It is Nisus Writer Pro.  The entire software has been translated into German.  All commands
and so on are in the German language.  One can type documents in English, however I want to have the
    English edition as advertised.
If an apple customer goes into the App Store and reads the information about Nisus Writer Pro
it is all in English.  The customer is not warned that it has been translated into German and a German version
will be downloaded.  Normally one should be able to purchase an English language software product as advertised in the Apple
App Store or have a choice with regard to the default language.  I am writing my documents in English and
wish to have the software in English as is advertised.
The software costs aroung 70 Euro.
    What now?

PS To run an app in English while your OS is running in German, you can use

  • Language Learning Software Help

not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but i thought i would pose it anyway. i'm trying to find irish learning language software and there are a couple of products out there, but most haven't gotten the best ratings and reviews. so i was wondering if anyone might know of some good software out on the market
    thanks

Is this an SAP provided search help or one you created?  This doesn't sound like correct functionality.  The number of hits shouldn't change if you perform the same search.  Also if the keys/descriptions are language keyed, they shouldn't cross over and provide entries from other languages keys than your logon language.  If the search help functions differently from the SAPGUI/classic dynpro usage than Web Dynpro ABAP, I would suggest opening a support ticket.

  • NSLocaleLanguageCode How to get the iPhone language code

    Hi everyone,
I am working on a multi-language software for the iPhone, and I realized that using [[NSLocale currentLocale] objectForKey:NSLocaleLanguageCode] doesn't give you back the actual language used on your iPhone, but give you the region format.
It is quite a strange way to ask for a LanguageCode and to not get it.
For some people it is not a big deal because both field would be same country, but for example if you set your region format into Japanese and your language is set to English, my software turn into Japanese.
    Any clue ?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

I had the same problem, solved it with
    NSString *language = [[NSLocale preferredLanguages] objectAtIndex:0];
    if([language isEqualToString:@"de"]) ...

  • Product language rules

I guess I was a bit careless when purchasing my CS6 Standard license from a local reseller in Moscow, Russia... There indeed WERE two options available: English and Russian. and I accidentally chose Russian though my INTENTION  was to choose English... Moron, I am indeed.
Time passes and I get order confirmation from Adobe which congratulates me on my "Volume License" (I sincerely have no idea what this is intended to mean). I proceed to downloads and see that I can download only the RUSSIAN version of the pack.
To make things worse, I took a bank loan to purchase this pack. So this is not at all merely a matter of canceling the purchase and getting money back (and I doubt if Adobe has a money back policy) and buying the right package.
Now I very much would like to understand two things:
    1) Is there any TECHNICAL way for me to get the language I need? I mean without canceling/prepaying the bank loan, etc. which is neither TECHNICAL, nor FEASIBLE. Just by changing some setting in the menu? Or maybe by getting a replacement installation pack on a humble request?
    2) Is there any LOGICAL reason behind these language restrictions in the first place? Why on earth should Adobe restrict me from switching between whatever languages I find it convenient to use their products in? How can this possibly hurt them, or put me to any unfair advantage? No, seriously.
Please, anyone's constructive help will be highly appreciated.

Having done some more research, I've found this page:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/order-product-platform-language-swap.htm l
This indeed looked quite reassuring, as it says:
    Platform or language swap policies
All product configurations, except for OEM bundles, are eligible for a platform or language swap.
As apparently there was not a word about "OEM bundles" in what I purchased from Adobe, I proceeded to the live chat option hoping to get my issue sorted. However, all I got was:
    <open quote>
Shivangi: I checked and see that the cross language swap cannot be done for the Volume licensing serial numbers
Shivangi: I am sorry to inform you again that cross language swap cannot be done in this case you have to contact to point of purchase
Shivangi: I cross checked it in this case you have to return the wrong language product and you have to purchase the correct language software.
    <end quote>
I have a complete transcript of this chat on file. Apparently, what kind Shivangi told me is contrary to Adobe's stated policy.
Please, can anyone tell me if this language swap policy should or should not apply to Volume Licenses and, more specifically, to my case?

  • Install Japanese language for MAC users

I have found several websites that tell how to install Japanese language software with PC.
But I have never found one for MAC.
Please somebody help me...  I am a MAC user and need to make my BB 8330 able to show Japanese...
    Thanks.

Unfortunately at this time all software updates have to be done using a PC. Unless you have Parallels or other type of software that you can use to load Windows OS on your Mac. Then you can do the upgrade

  • Japanese Language tool causing problems

I'm posting on behalf of my brother. He uses a 14" iBook identical to mine, the last of the PPC kind. His OS is in English, but frequently types in Japanese. About a month ago I did a fresh install of the OS. In the last two weeks he has had severe problems running the Japanese language input, causing all applications to randomly quit, even applications that he might not be typing Japanese directly into. It has also caused the Finder to restart several times, and sometimes it goes into a state of continuously restarting (the Finder, that is).
We seem to have narrowed it down to the Japanese / language menu software causing these problems. He fixed all file permissions, did a full check with disk utility, no errors reported. I had him clean out some Preferences. Problems persisted.
He eventually created a new user, but programs still quit when using Japanese. I have found a folder called "com.apple.JapaneseAnalysis" in the Preferences: does anybody know what's in here? Should it be deleted, as it may be a bogus preferences file?
Or should he simply reinstall the Japanese language software?
Any ideas welcome. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm aware that sporadic Finder restarts are very serious, and I'm hoping that it's not a hardware problem.

Created new user profile, everything started working fine. Something in the personal library folder was funny. Will try and find out what it was at some point in the future. Any suggestions on pro diagnostic tools?

  • What is the best way to see what toshiba software can/should be installed?

I'm thinking about formating my A100-454's hard disc, starting from zero and installing Windows Vista Ultimate.
I would like to know what (last version, and preferently, in portuguese language) software/drivers should i install. Is there any webpage that gives that information?, without being "dumped" by a search that gives "any software any drivers any version" downloads (yes, i'm forgetting the filters...:) )?
I ask because, as you all know, the laptop cames with many software/utilities installed, and, at least i, don't really know "what does what " and i would like to see a page that objectivelly, would say "for A100-454 ... install these software and drivers, this software does this, this software does that..."
    Regards, from Portugal
