BB Link not for Mac OS X 10.6.8

Dear all,
I am a mac user and never had problems with older BB devices like BB Bold. Now, buying the 10 I need the BB Link software.
Problem: My Mac is 3 years old and after running a software update, I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8 but the BB Link software doesn't work for MAC before 10.7.
Anybody knows how to fix this? Don't want to buy a new mac just to get all my contacts from the former desktop software (in use for the BB Bold).

As you may find below, the printer is no longer supported on Mac OS X 10.6:

Although it is not officially supported you may try the 3rd party HPIJS print drivers.
Be sure to install any of the 3 required downloads prior following the printer setup instructions:

With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

Sync Lotus Notes for Mac to iCal?

Hey,
I'm a Mac User in a mostly PC-based office. Everyone here uses Lotus Notes for Email & Calendar. For a long time I've been able to get away with using Mac Mail and iCal but all email invitations I receive are usually off by a couple of hours due to some Lotus/iCal bug. Also, our assistant can't access my calendar as it's not on the Lotus Notes server.
I'm considering switching my calendar to Lotus Notes (which is installed on my Mac but dormant) but I'm wondering if there's a way I can get it to replicate or sync onto iCal so it will still appear on my iPhone?
Any suggestions? I found a programme called LipSync but it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Thanks, KiltedTim, but did you even read my post. I highly doubt IBM would offer the notes client FREE with Mavericks, then offer a FREE patch for that FREE software so that those who upgrade to Yosemite can use it, but then not provide it for those trying to do a clean install.
I'm not suggesting that someone provide a free copy of something that is charged for or do anything illegal. IBM has always, and claims to still provide the Notes client at no charge. I had the thought that I am just not accessing it in the right place. If there is a link to purchase it, or a means to sign up, etc, that is what I'm looking for.

Purchased a flight stick that is not for Mac but PC How do I use this

I purchased a Hotas X flight stick to go with a software app Mac version of xPlane 10. I am more of windows user and now starting to transition over to the Mac for the graphics. In the middle of trying to set up the flight stick I realized it was marked for PC and Playstation. So what choices do I have to use the MAC software and Windows flight stick?
checked for MAC compatible sticks but none that are the quality of this one.

Notes for mac

If I edit a note on my MacBook Pro running Lion will it update the note content on my iPad? The note is already on both devices. I tried this and it doesn't seem to update.

is it simply synced and only updates when you connect, or are you using iCloud? if you are using iCloud, make sure that notes sync is enabled on both the iPad and Mac. On the Mac go to  -> System Preferences -> iCloud - > Make sure Mail & Notes is checked. On the iPad, go to Settings -> iCloud -> make sure notes is checked.

Yes but if it did, I assume those of us that have upgraded to Lion would be missing features because of backwards compatability, which wouldn't be right.

Error (-45054) for WINDOWS not for a mac

For the past three days i have been trying to download app updates via the iTunes WINDOWS software program without success due to the error -45054. I have done many a search but can only find answers on how to fix the problem on mac computers. I am running windows 8 (yes i know it ***** you don't have to tell me)
There are a total of two users on the computer in question. However the error only occurs in the account of one of the two users. User #1 has no problems whatsoever and is a administrator. User #2, also listed as a administrator always gets the -45054 error.
Files are all set as shared with everyone with full control.
i have tried to remove iTunes and reinstall but still no help. Any suggestions are appreciated as long as they are for WINDOWS not for mac

1) How do I choose a non-standard fill color for filling in a cell? I know how to fill a cell with a standard palette color like red or blue, but how do I select a shade of green? I can pick it from the color wheel, but cant add it to the default palette colors.

You can use the external drive you want with your Mac. However, the "for Mac" external drives come prepared to connect them and start using them, and probably you will have to do some additional steps with your external drive.
First, you will have to format the external drive with "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)", the only filesystem compatible with OS X. If you have got files on the external drive, you have to copy them to your Mac before erasing the drive. Then, to use Time Machine, open System Preferences > Time Machine > Select Disk, and choose your external drive, so your Mac will start making backups to your external drive
