    Hi,
Yes, that's what I used, 2.04 GW... I also tried the 2.02 and they have the result. I also try it with SLES 10 and same result.
But I tried to reinstall it with LDAP configuration and it was successfully installed but the problem is the client cannot log in under windows XP cannot log in the account that I made. Is there any configuration that I should change? Waiting for reply thanks!....

I did find some old patch readme files that mention a problem with GW
Messenger extending schema on Linux, that the installation would stop
if there was a problem extending the schema. The patch was supposed to
fix it. This was an older GW Messenger patch (2.02). Are you using
    2.04 GW Messenger software?

  • BB Messenger registration failed

I just got a BB curve 9300 and email and internet are set up and working. Having difficulty setting up BBM though.
When I go into My Profile, it says Registration failed and if I click Retry it says
"BBM failed to register with the BlackBerry messenger service. Registration is necessary to use the features of this application. Please ensure your device time is correctly set, open the My profile screen and check the BBM registration status"...
Anyone have any light to shed on the matter? Living in South Africa- time zone set to Harare (GMT + 2)
Is there anything I can do?
    Thanks!!

    Hello achitas9300,
Did you change devices and had used your BlackBerry Messenger on a different device? If so, did you remove back up your BBM list using an email account? Is that email account associated to this device?
    Thanks!

I can not add anybody into my adressbook. And this makes me trouble when i try to find the person who i met new.Can you pls help me?
    Brgds

    Hello !
    Try the following:
Simply delete all the  Messenger apps (Yahoo, MSN or Live) which you might have upgraded recently / delete apps which were recently installed before the error which actually started occuring .
After that unplug the battery while the phone is still "on" and restart the phone.
In fact I had deleted a whole bunch of apps to facilitate my OS upgrade as I did not have enough memory on my Device.
This not only helped solve my above mentioned problem but also made my phone restart in less than 3 minutes (the earlier reboot was done in not less than 15  minutes !!).
Therefore my conclusion as from the above incidents is to keep your apps in the bare minimum so that your phone performs to the best.
    Hope this resolves your Problem!
If your problem has been resolved then would request you to Click on "Like" and accept as "Solution" so that other Advisors doesnt invest their time on this Message anymore.

  • Can't start Novell Messenger agent in SLES10

While rebooting my GroupWise server the messenger agent failed to start. I tried to start the agent using: rcnovell -nmma start and rcnovell-nmaa start. They both fail and refer me to the logs where I find this message.

    Hi,
Take a look at this TID: http://support.novell.com/docs/Tids/.../10096249.html
It is an old one, but may still be relevant.
Let us know how it goes.

  • MSN messenger suddenly doesn't work on my Mac book. Frustrated!

Hi, I never had a problem using MSN messenger for the Mac which I downloaded from the Apple website. But since today I get the following message and am slightly annoyed as I don't know how to solve it and urgently want to use MSN messenger.
"Sign in to Microsoft Messenger has failed because the service is not responding. The service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet."
I already tried to download the latest version from the Apple site but this error keeps coming up.

Try using an alternative client, such as Adium, to see if it will work.

It can't find an Endeca specific class when running via the clover command line utility. Thus, the classpath being set in that shell script is not incorporating the .jar files where the endeca-specific classes are packaged. I would start by adding an line to see what your classpath is set to. There are actually already some lines of shell script in clover that you can uncomment to see what .jars are getting loaded:
    #echo $CLOVER_LIB/*
    for i in $CLOVER_LIB/*.jar $CLOVER_LIB/*.zip; do
         LOCAL_CLASSPATH="$LOCAL_CLASSPATH:$i"
    done;
    #for i in `ls $CLOVER_LIB/*.jar`; do
    #echo $i
    #done;
You could also echo LOCAL_CLASSPATH to see what is getting set there. At the end of the day, you will need the endeca-specific jars to load which can be found here: /Endeca/Discovery/2.3.0/Integrator/plugins/com.endeca.latitude_1.0.0/*

  • MAJOR ISSUES WITH N95!

CAN ANYBODY SHED SOME LIGHT ON THE HUNDREDS OF ISSUES WITH THIS PHONE?
I PURCHASED A NOKIA N95 3 WEEKS AGO FROM CARPHONE WAREHOUSE.
IM NOW ON MY 4TH HANDSET IN 3 WEEKS!
MY FIRST HANDSETS BATTERY ONLY LASTED 5 HOURS (WITHOUT USING IT)
MY SECOND HANDSET HAD TERRIBLE AUDIO PROBLEMS. (SOUNDED LIKE A BLOWN SPEAKER)
MY 3RD HANDSET KEPT RESTARTING AND WHEN ON, HAD WHITE BOXES OF NOTHING ALONG THE TOP OF THE DISPLAY. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THIS WAS TO RESTART THE PHONE.
MY 4TH HANDSET CONSTANTLY SAYS 'SIM REGESTRATION FAILED', ERROR CONNECTION, INSERT SIM, TIMED OUT PLUS MORE! IT ALSO OCCASIONALY RESTARTS ITSELF!
IM SURE THIS IS NOT JUST BAD LUCK ON MYPART BUT IM FUMING TO SAY THE LEAST. ONTOP OF THIS CARPHONE WAREHOUSE ARE NOW SAYING ILL HAVE TO PAY £600 TO COME OUT OF THE CONTRACT BECAUSE IM OVER MY 14 DAYS, BUT THE 14 DAYS WERE WAISTED WITH FAULTY HANDSETS OR WAITING FOR CARPHONE WAREHOUSE TO REPLACE MY OLD ONE. DISCUSTING!
NOKIA N95 WAS A GREAT IDEA AND HAD ALL THE FEATURES I NEEDED. SHAME THEY DONT ACTUALLY WORK PROPERLY!
CAN ANYBODY RECOMEND A DECENT (SMARTPHONE) HANDSET WITH THE N95 FEATURES THAT ACTUALLY WORKS?
ANYONE ELSE HAVING AS MANY PROBLEMS AS ME?

cant recall now...usually your warranty is either a card or part of the back of the manual...but to prove a warranty you need a purchase receipt with date of purchase clearly shown...usually you would return a copy of the receipt with the phone for your warranty claim....
i dont think and imei number will supply a fixed date of manufacture..and even if it did i doubt it would be enough to prove you have a valid warranty claim...
if it was a private sale can you get the original purchase details from the person you bought it from? that way you might at least be able to paperchase a supplier receipt and get a firm date of supply from Nokia or the original suppliers....
the problem with private sales is you are always going to suffer with warranty pit falls....
Nokia Customer services might be able to track through with the serial number from the side of the box or from the phone....again whether that will enough to validate a warranty claim im really not sure....
you might have to contact Nokia and explain the situation and just see what they are willing to do...
    *addition*
happened to have my old 9300 manual in my desk here at work..the warranty is listed near the back of the manual...
the only thing i can find that might harm a warranty as explained in the manual read something like this:
Limited warranty is not enforcable if the product has been opened, modified, accesory date code, imei tampered with etc etc by anyone other than a NOkia service engineer...any warranty in such a case will be at Nokia discretion...
again i think its going to come down to "proof or purchase" date
hope this helpsMessage Edited by kirisute on 06-Jun-200703:19 PM

  • The application "whatever" cannot be launched.  -10810  Getting this error.

On Friday, I ran into a issue where I can't launch new programs from the dock.
When I try to launch something, it gives me an error message. The application "Firefox" cannot be launched. -10810.
I end up having to reboot the whole computer. Then I can start programs again.
But after half an hour, the issue is back and I am getting the error again.
I am typically running Mail, Safari 3.1, Parallels, newest Firefox and Adium (newest version).
I can't really relate it to any specific single program that is causing the problems.
What does that error message mean?
    Anyone have any ideas?
I already installed the new firmware update today, hoping that would magically fix it. But it didn't help.
I have all the latest apple updates for the computer installed, and Leopard.
    Help, anyone?

I went into console, and there were hundreds of these messages:
    3/31/08 4:19:00 PM Mail[631] lexer results overflow
Then, below all that, I get this:

  • SU 10.4.4 Installation Problems

OK....first I am a newby to the mac....1 year with a PB G4, Isight Cam, I am on DSL using a linksys router (with Vonage VoIP) I have been faithfully updating all SUs and until I downloaded this latest update I have not had a single problem, however 10.4.4 seems to be driving a lot of people crazy with its antics...I downloaded 10.4.4 along with other updates for Itunes and etc....after the download I receive msg that said the 10.4.4 update failed...yet when I do an info on MAC it says I am running 10.4.4. I am currently having problems with Safari (I cannot close a window using the close button) Yahoo Messenger (app fails to load due to shared library error) on web sites flash and shockwave fail to load. So far that is all I have found. I have gone to permissions and repaired them (lot of repairs) but still have same problem....I am in S Korea working and have limited resources for help here......any info or help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.3)

Ah, so it said the update failed. I'd tend to believe that message over the about box saying the update has succeeded. I would download the combined update and see if that improves things. The combined update is found here:

  • ASA unwanted certificate

    Hi there,
    Thanks for reading!
We've got a Series 800 SOHO with Ezvpn running.  It get connected to our internal network through our ASA 5520 just fine.  We have clients on the SOHO side which can ping and RDC to servers inside our network.
The SOHO clients are using MS Lync 2013 (instant messenger) which fails.  Packet captures reveal that the external Lync clients are receiving an SSL cert from the firewall when they should be receiving from the internal Lync server.  Running a capture against internal clients shows that working inside clients receive our GoDaddy cert and the program works.
    Any thoughts on this?
    Thanks!
    Bob

    Hi Moh,
    Thanks for writing.
The behavior is unexpected.  The capture shows client-side sip-tls / Client Hello packets getting all the way to their appropriate internal server destination.  The returning Server Hello / Certificate packets (from the appropriate IP address to the appropriate IP address) names a specific CAP-RTP-001 certificate that is part of the 5520 configuration.
The client application throws a certificate error, apparently having received a certificate other than that from the intended server.
The senior guys around here would drag their feet about an entire copy / paste of our FW config.  Are there relevant sections you'd like to see which I can snippet into this thread?
    Thanks again for weighing in!
    Bob
