BB Z10 Blank Screen...

Few days ago,i did realise that i be able to upgrade my OS to 10.2.0.415 ...as usual as i did for previous update,after all process have been finished,it will require me to re-start the phone so that the updates will be apply...but,once i click restart now,it was like forever waiting when the BB icon appear and for it to reach 100% took quite a long time.after key in pin code and whatsoever,the battery was drained and immediately i charge my phone,after few seconds,the 1s thing i do was looking into Blackberry Hub,it appear blank@nothing,only black screen...I try to open few apps,unable to do so or took some time to open it...Then,when I swipe through my phone,suddenly it appear there's BlackBerry Hub icon and Evernote icon...I try to open that Blackberry Hub but unable to do so...I try to press Setting icon,but,it couldnt go through,what is happening?

Not sure but it might have something to do with the low battery level at the time of upgrading, that is why there is a message before upgrading to keep the charger on during upgrade.
Does it fully charge and the green light indicator come on ?
Remove the SIM and battery for a minute, replace the battery but not the SIM.
If still the same, when powered on hold down the power button for 10 seconds
Are you able to access any of the settings ?

Z10 - blank screen + led flashing red

On connecting my new Z10 with BBlink, was given a an option for available upgrades. On upgrading the screen went blank and LED flashes red - 3 short 2 long - blank and starts the sequence again. Am unable to restore, restart or anything. Help wanted please email.

Blank screen after update to 10.3.1

I have a Z10 which has a totally blank screen now.... not quite sure what is going on as the backlight works, but nothing is coming up on the screen.
I have connected it to Link and even tried downgrading the software... but still nothing... I got an autoloader of 10.3.1 and everything seems to upload fine Link just says that it is in setup mode and to finish that on the device...
I would love to... but the screen is totally blank. I took the cover off to check the screen connections..... that seems to be fine....
I am at a loss..... any thoughts?

An update on this one... I guess I have the same problem as the Z30's... I was EXTREMELY impressed by Blackberry and Rogers for a very brief moment when they gave me a code for a swap out at a store... so I went to the store and they couldn't figure out what to do so I had to call back Rogers... all in I am 6 hours into the phones with Rogers.
I guess they are just directing everyone to BB for this issue even though none of us can use our phones. I am told that because I am out of warranty (a one year warranty) that I am up a creek....
Interesting as this update was pushed to our phones and that caused the issue... not anything that I did at all.
For shame Blackberry... I am giving one more chance for something good to happen... this is my.... oh goodness.... 8th Blackberry? Loyal since the trackball =) Perhaps its time to end this relationship...

New Install - startx results in blank screen with mouse cursor

I installed Arch on my desktop last week with no issues, so I wanted to install it on an old THinkpad R31. Everything with the installation went smooth, but when I try to 'startx' all I get is a blank screen with a mouse cursor that I can move around. I've installed xorg-xinit, xorg-twm, xorg-xclock, and xterm.
I'm not getting any significant errors in the logs, or even the terminal I issue 'startx' in.
I'm not sure what the problem could be...

I do indeed.
I went ahead and installed LXDE anyways, just to see what would happen. Exact same thing, it looks like everything is about to load but only the mouse cursor shows up. My Xorg.0.log is the same, so I won't post it again.
I do get an error in the console about the openbox menu.xml file missing but I doubt that's related.

Apple Cinema 23" on a PC? can't get it to work just has a blank screen?

Sorry this may have been asked a million times but i have a 23" cinema HD display and i'm try to connect it to a laptop PC with the convertor to vga and no matter what i try it has a blank screen with the white power light. I have tried to change the res to the lowest it doesn't work what am i doing wrong please help!!

You can't use a simple VGA to DVI adapter, since VGA doesn't have the digital video signals needed by Apple displays. You need a VGA to DVI converter, such as

Tried installing Windows Vista, cancelled install and now it won't boot from the OEM Vista DVD, all i get is BOOTMGR is missing error... Ctrl Alt Del to restart and when i turn the computer on i get a blank screen and pressing C is not working to boot....

Deleting Boot Camp partitions the conventional way will not work . You must use the Boot Camp Assistant to remove a Boot Camp partition. Here is a link to the guide.

The way to restart is to hold down the option/alt key during startup* and then selecting the Mac OS. If you have a valid Boot Camp install of Windows it would show up during this type of start up.
* hold down immediately after pressing the power button and until the OS choice screen appears.
To summarize.
1 Use the above method to boot into Mac OS.
2 Download the instructions and read them.
3 Use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition.
4 Pick your friends more carefully.

When I click on picture in Photo Gallery...just blank screen...no picture

Hi. I have been doing well with iPhoto until I tried to migrate to Aperture. When I migrated to Aperture, I deleted the iPhoto library in Aperture as I read in the tutorial.
Clearly, I did something wrong. Well, I uninstalled Aperture and will be using that at another time, but for now here is my dilemma.
Since I migrated photos to Aperture, consolidated them with iPhoto and then deleted...
now I open my iPhoto and double click on a photo to edit or view...and nothing appears. Just blank screen. The small pics are at the top but it doesn't open to a larger picture. Where are my photos! Help!

The previews you refer to are the thumbnails in the iPhoto Library - iPhoto creates them when you import a photo.
Aperture has the ability to trash Referenced Files. If you imported the files to Aperture as Referenced and then trashed them from Aperture, are you sure you didn't also tell it to trash the Referenced Files. This would produce exactly the scenario that you describe.

Acrobat XI Pro - I see a blank screen in PDF portfolio

I am not sure what I'm supposed to see but after creating a pdf portfolio and choosing 5 files, all I see is a blank screen. I try to add files again (thinking I did somehting wong) an it says they are already there. Help if you can. I'm new to this program but not to computers. This is what I see after adding files. I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.

You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

Did you configure the web server as the last part of foundation services? You could always get a patch for IE support but the blank screen always appears if the services wasn't started up correctly or if the web server wasn't configured lastly after any configuration change.

My Iphone 5s blank screen and can hear voice command when i press the home button

My Iphone 5s was coming up with voice command and driving me nuts. After trying to reset the phone now I just have a blank screen. when i goes to restart the apple icon will show then the voice command lady will talk in the back ground but still no screen.
Any help please

Try one of these 4Rs toubleshooting steps:
Restart:
1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

Dear Jean:
It sounds like you are trying to get your external monitor to act as the primary viewing screen. For example it would have your Doc, Icons, Etc. In order to make the external monitor the primary screen you have to:
Open System Preferences.
Choose the Displays Icon
There will be several tabs to choose from pick Arrangement
Drag the toolbar to desired display

If there is no loading bar, it's usually a problem with a third party kext file in OS X itself.
You can press the power button down to force a hardware shutdown, then reboot holding the shift key down on a wired or built in keyboard, this will disable them and you go around and update your third party software.
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
Also take this time to backup your users files off the machine if possible.

Tablet Only Showing Blank Screen

My tablet is not showing anything on the screen. Only the backlight is on, so the screen gets power. Pressing Windows button is vibrates the tablet. Holding the power button for 10 seconds shuts it off. A short press (like waking it up) lights the blank screen, sometimes the Front Camera blue LED light blinks like it probably should. No Audio.
I am scared. I saved money for two years, then two months ago I bought this tablet now It's just a brick. Bought outside the country. I knew it was a mistake for buying Toshiba as one year ago my Toshiba laptop motherboard died. Should have bought Dell Venue Pro.

Same happens to me.
The first time, I let the battery drain and when it was totally discharged, I plugged the tablet and it worked just fine.
And now it happened again! bad thing that now it is fully charge and I have to wait again to use it again... I hope.
Someone had a simmilar issue?
