BB10 calendar, some wishes...

Hi,
I have some wishes for the BB10 calendar.
It would be nice, if you have the possibility to have an indicator, how often a recurring calendar entry has occurred. That would be nice for birthdays and other events!
And it would be nice, if the calendar has a year view!
Thanks, Frank

Hello there. I'm just wondering how do I sync my iCal to my Q10??

  • OS 7 TO BB10 CALENDAR RESTORE / SYNC ISSUE!

I have an issue transferring data from my BOLD 9790 to Blackberry Q10.  All data gets backed up and restored without any error.  Only issue I have is my CALENDAR ENTRIES!  I have about 3500+ entries that go far back to 2010, and some entries that I have set a series (recurring) for in which it has an end date for...now have no end date and is going forever in the BB10 calendar.  So I basically have entries that have started in May 2010 which is still continuing to May 2013.
    I have tried the following:
    1. Used Blackberry Link to backup my Bold 9790...and then used Blackberry Link to restore the data to my Q10
    2. Used SD card method of backing up data from the Bold 9790...and then putting the SD card into the Q10 to do a device switch.
    3. Used the old Blackberry Desktop manager backed up the data, then used Blackberry Link to read the backup file and restore
    4. Used Blackberry Protect from Bold 9790 to back up data, and then used Blackberry Protect from Q10 to restore
I have tried just about everything I can think of and its a little frustrating as I live by my BB Calendar.  I've had no issues in the past from restoring my 3500+ calendar entries from Torch 9800 to Bold 9790.  There seems to be some sort of error when the files get read in the new BB10 OS.
Does anyone know if there maybe any other solution to this?
Will Blackberry have a fix for this in the next update possibly?
I live by my Blackberry calendar and i'm sure most do as well.  For a simple backup such as this to a product that is within the company, and to have an issue like this is a little concerning.  I really like my new Q10 and I hope this calendar issue doesn't prevent me from returning it.

    Hey jay2k_11,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
    Thanks for the question.
Have you tried importing these calendar appointments from Microsoft Outlook? If not, I would suggest following the steps in this blog article: http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2013/03/blackberry-link-import-outlook/
I look forward to your reply.
    Cheers.

  • BB10 Calendar not updating

Hi, I go into Calendar, enter a subject and select 'Save'. Seems simple. BB10 Calendar doesn't register the entry. Does anyone know why?
I used to have my Google and Yahoo calendar items in the Q10.
Just today, my Remember items were missing from the phone but I sync it to BB Link and the items came back. Update: my Remember entries are missing too. And I can't save a new entry.
    Please help.

I rebooted the Q10 and Remember and Calendar works now. The test entries I made while the apps were blank were captured in Calendar.
Problem is resolved at this time.

  • BB10 Calendar problem SOLVED!!!

    BB10 Calendar problem SOLVED!!!
Step 1: DO NOT do a device switch using BB Link!
Step 2: On your old device, do a device switch using an "SD Card' - this helped me big time since it copied everything!
Step 3: On your BB10 device, insert the old SD card, and complete the device switch using the "SD Card" option.
Step 4: Voila! All your calendar, phone book and personal data is all transferred on to your new BB10.
    All the best!

I had a blackberry 9780 (now a Z10)  When I go to setup on the old BB the "device switch" icon is not there.
Is there anyway I can get that as an option on the phone so I can try what you suggest

  • Sync with MS-Outlook-Calendar, some entries accurate, some entries out by 2 hours

I've been using a Palm and Outlook since 2000.  While not perfect, they do syncronize nicely.
For a PDA, I need an accurate calendar with details/notes inside of them (contacts, email, mobile telephone are secondary for me)
I'll state again, having a small portable calendar is my #1 (I think my calendar has about 10,000 entries)
I purchased a Curve 9320 yesterday.  Installed BB Destop S/W (but I can't tell what version? - where do I look?) on my XP laptop
did a one way sync from MS-Outlook-2007 to BB (no way am I doing a 2 way Sync until I 100% trust BB)
looking at my calendar entries on my BB, some are correct, some are out by 2 hours (e.g. instead of 1 pm, they say 3 pm).  Huh???
My BB date/time, and my PC date/time are within a minute of each other
I need to have my BB calendar accurate.  Help please???

    Hi Shaloooom:
Thanks for your reply, hwever, both the iPhone and the computer clocks are set to Sydney, Australia. Also, the error is only occuring for a small amount of diary entries, not all of them which adds to my confusion.
    Thanks

  • Mail for Exchange and Google Calendar - some sync ...

    Let's say I do this:
    1. modify an event in Google's calendar
    2. modify an event on my N79's calendar
    3. start the sync on the N79
Only the event I modified on the N79 (2.) will get synced to the Google Calendar. Then, only after I sync AGAIN the event modified on Google calendar (1.) will get reflected on the N79. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
The other issue is that, even tho I have set to sync every 4 hours it doesn't always work. I synced manually at 13:08 and I checked now (18:30) and no new syncs happened, even tho they should (it's all set correctly).

To describe the first problem in simpler terms (after some additional testing):
As long as there's a new event created on the phone, it won't sync anything from the server to the phone, but only from the phone to the server.
It will only sync from the server to the phone in a new session, if there are no new(or modified) events from the phone.

  • ICal Calendar Colors Changing On Their Own; iCloud Connection

    AGGRAVATING PROBLEM:
Many in this forum have written recently about a problem ongoing for people with multiple iCal calendars where iCal calendar colors change "automatically" when you haven't selected those colors, or even "change back" before your eyes to some color your DIDN'T select after you select a new one.  If you log into iCloud on the Web and try to change the color of certain calendars, they refuse to change.  Try as you might, the color you want for your calendar won't "stick" and it is forced to be the wrong color on all your devices.  In some cases, even the names of some of the calendars cannot be changed.  On other calendars in your list, the colors and names will change fine.
Related symptoms:  Calendars you have deleted "come back."   Or, calendars you did not create yourself show up in your calendars list, such as "Calendar" or "Home" or even "Untitled."  Note that the problem seems to be most prevalent with calendars with names "Home," "Work," OR either of these words in the NAME of the calendar.  For instance, "Bob's Work" might get snagged (it can't be deleted without coming back or its color is stuck and "comes back").
I spent a long time on the phone with a helpful Apple senior advanced specialist on this problem today.  We conducted a very large number of "experiments". Our family has two iPads, 2 iPhones, and 2 iMacs, so it was easy to rule things in or out.  I will present some information that may help.
SOME OF WHAT APPEARS TO BE GOING ON:
First, Apple has not resolved this.  But the problem appears to be related to iCloud, and NOT to individual devices.  After de-linking all of my individual devices from iCloud, I could change any of the colors or names at will on any given device, create new calendars and then change their colors to whatever I wish, delete calendars, change names...no problem.  However, after re-linking calendars to iCloud, all the problems mentioned above returned.  The chances that my iMacs, iPhones, and iPads are all causing the problem independently is very low. They also have slightly different OS versions on them, so it is not likely an a particular device OS, though that could be indirectly related.  Also, the colors "change back" within about the same time (usually a few seconds to up to 30 seconds) that it takes to do a "refresh" (i.e. an update) to the iCloud servers.  This when iCloud is turned on, and the absence of it when iCloud is turned off (for calendars), strongly suggests that it is the iCloud server and its interaction with your devices that the fundamental cause of the problem.
Apple has said that they are aware of this problem and their engineers are working on a fix.  Historically, this can mean just a few days, or it could be a few months, years, or "whenever."  They don't give estimates of when it will be fixed.  Exactly WHY this is happening is unclear, but my guess is that it is a modification to the iCloud server code that Apple implemented without testing it thoroughly enough to discover this problem.  Apple does not admit to that, of course and I don't know if I am correct.
A WORKAROUND SOLUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME:
Please note this is a workaround and not a full fix.  Apple needs to run a patch on their iCloud server code.  Until then, I did the following which seems to have worked for me for now.  Read the whole list before deciding whether to proceed.  I don't guarantee it will work in all situations.
Note...I found I was stuck for now with the color of ONE of my calendars.  If you are like me, you want to keep that one and work around it....
Backup first... Make sure that your iCloud copy of your calendar data has the calendar event information you want to save - even if the color is wrong.  Log in at www.icloud.com and do a refresh to sync to the Cloud.  Check over your calendars online to make sure the event data appears to be there for all of your calendars (even if their color or name is not what you want).
    Steps:
    1.     Go to every device that you have linked to iCloud separately. Go into Settings, iCloud, and then uncheck the "Calendars" option.  This delinks your calendars for that device to iCloud.  As you do this on each device, when prompted, select "Keep On My" ..iPAD...iPhone...iMac... etc.  This will preserve the calendar information on the device so it won't be deleted.  I think this is safer, but you can click on "Delete" if you want, too.  Note - if one of your devices is an iMac, with OSX Lion and before, you may be forced (I was) to delete the iCloud calendars from the iMac.  So again, make sure they are backed up to the Cloud first (or somewhere else).
    3.     With the iCloud Calendars Option on all your devices still turned off, go to the WEB and log into iCloud.com.  You need to figure our which calendar iCloud won't let you change the color for.  You probably already know.  On iCloud.com, click on "Calendars," then click open your calendar list and select "EDIT" at the bottom of the dialog box.  One at a time, click on the color dots next to each calendar name and try to change the color (you can put any back after the test if you want). You will probably see a certain one that just goes right back to what you don't want.  This is the one for which the color is stuck, but you may be able to change the name of it now that your devices are unlinked from iCloud.
    4.     Still in iCloud.com, change the names and colors of any of the other calendars you wish to change.  Delete any empty calendars that mysteriously appeared without your wanting them.  Take note of all the calendars, names, and colors that are on the final list of calendars.
    5.     On EVERY device, BEFORE turning iCloud back on on ANY of them: Change the colors and/or names of calendars, delete calendars, etc. so that the calendar names and colors on the device are exactly the same as what you left in iCloud.com in the last step.
    6.   One at a time on each device, go back to Settings and then "iCloud" and check again the box for "Calendars."  You will be asked whether you want to "MERGE" your data with iCloud.  I selected MERGE to ensure I didn't lose anything.  Link each device again into iCloud one at a time.
    7.  When each device is back, go back to iCloud on the Web, or go into iCAL on one of your devices.  Set to view ALL calendars.  Look for duplicates of some of your events.  I found quite several as an artifact of "merging", but in my case it only took me about 5 minutes to go through quickly and delete the duplicates.  It deleted the duplicates on all of the devices at once, so I only needed to delete dups on one device.  I did not find that I lost any events as long as I kept one valid copy.
Again, no guarantees...hope this works for others.  Good luck.

I'm getting the same thing and it's really bugging me! Keeps changing colour to one I do not want and I have tried everything to get it to stay the colour I have chosen!!

  • Birthday calendar bizarre repetitions and other issues

I have the STRANGEST things happening with birthdays on both my iPhone (5, 32GB, white, iOS 6) and iPad (32GB, iOS 6, white).
I'm posting it here in the iPhone forum, assuming more people may be able to help.
First of all, I sync a Google Apps calendar with my iPhone and iPad via CalDAV. I also sync my Google Contacts with my address book (including birthdays), which syncs via my MacBook on OS 10.6.8 using the sync icon in the system tray. (I hesitate to call it MobileMe, even though that's what the System Preferences calls it, because it really has nothing to do with MobileMe -- it does not sync via MobileMe [I do not have an account], it just syncs my Address Book with Google with my phone or iPad when hooked up. It is through a WIRED connection that it does the final sync to the device.)
So, my birthdays from my address/contact books and my Google contacts DO sync and they DO show up on both my iOS devices in the fancy Birthday calendar with the cute cake symbol, as well as in my Google calendar.
    NOW HERE'S THE CRAZY PARTS.
Sometime recently, my birthdays were getting repeated. But oddly, enough they are a different amount on the two iOS devices. I have 18 copies of all birthdays (on the same day) in my iPhone calendar and 68 (YES, SIXTY-EIGHT COPIES) in my iPad of every birthday.
My Google calendar shows NO SUCH ERRONEOUS copies.
The crazier thing is that the copies of the birthdays are NOT on the birthday calendar. In fact, IT'S AS IF THEY JUMP AROUND ON DIFFERENT CALENDARS. They show up all one color, but some random color. They will appear or disappear only SOMETIMES if I turn "off" some calendars or others (for example, once they would go away if I hid a "Personal" calendar, another if I hid a calendar I subscribe to via Google but sync via CalDAV from Weather Underground, and another calendar that is a Google calendar but also my "default calendar" in the iOS settings). And this is all within minutes.
When I go into an instance of the repeated calendar event, it will actually say it belongs to my default calendar, regardless of what was hiding or showing it before.
When I try to "edit" the birthday just to see what happens, it crashes the app.
    WHAT. THE. ______???
    Here's what already I've tried:
Searching the internet for someone with a similar problem. NADA.
Turning off the option to sync my Google birthday calendar via the Google sync page (I think it's actually unnecessary anyway, since iOS pulls from the contact book, anyway). That did nothing.
Hiding all calendars and then selecting them to show one at a time to figure out which calendar was causing the problem, but as I mentioned above, it is not consistent.
    Re-syncing my devices with iTunes.
Searching for and merging duplicate contacts in Google contacts.
Turning off the iOS birthday calendar.
Killing and re-starting the calendar app.
    Re-starting my iOS devices.
Re-syncing my contact book with my devices.
Someone. Please. Tell me you're having this problem and that you have the solution? I'm going crazy over here! I can't remember anything that may have triggered this to happen.

I figured it out! (Or at least, it's been fixed for a day on both my iPad and iPhone.)
By the way, I discovered more oddities, but I'm not going to even bother with describing them.)
I am assuming everyone here has been syncing their birthday calendar off of Google/Gmail (whether CalDAV or Exchange, it doesn't matter).
The key to this is to know three things:
    A) Tgara was on to something: syncing the Google birthday calendar in your Google sync settings -- even though it does not show up in your calendar list on the iphone/ipad -- is the culprit.
    B) BUT, simply un-syncing will not make them go away unless you completely un-sync all your Google calendars. Once the repetitions get into your phone/iPad via they are kind of "stuck" there, and you've got to go back to the beginning to un-stick them for good.
    C) Thus, it may require some trial and error because I had to repeat this a couple times. I may no have the right order of operations, but this is my best recreation/guess.
How I fixed it (I had to repeat a couple times for some reason):
    1) I'm debating whether you have to do this step (I think I did it on my iPhone, but not my iPad, and yet both worked), but it doesn't take long, so you could just to be safe: on your iOS device, Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars -- delete your Google calendar account.
    2) On your iOS device, go to the proper Google sync page to choose what calendars are available for syncing.
    For Exchange, go to: https://m.google.com/sync/settings/iconfig/device
For CalDAV and Gmail/normal sync, go to: https://www.google.com/calendar/b/0/iphoneselect
For Google Apps CalDAV (although it worked for me on the normal page above), go to: https://www.google.com/calendar/hosted/yourhosteddomain.com/iphoneselect
If you're not sure which method you use, do both of them.
    3) Sign in and choose the device in question (if prompted) and then uncheck ALL the calendars. Save/apply.
    4) Go to calendar app. You should have an On my iPhone or On my iPad calendar and the iOS birthday calendar. Ensure that no repetitions are seen when you check mark each calendar idividually and also collectively to be visible. If there are, repeat the steps above.
    5) Once the repetitions are gone, go to your iOS settings and add the calendar account back in if you removed it in step one.
    6) Go back to the calendar app. Again, you will have two calendars -- one default Google calendar and one ios birthday calendar. Turn on each one at a time and also together to make sure the repetitions are gone. If they are not, repeat the above again.
    7) Once they are gone, go back to the Google sync page(s) and add all the calendars you want back, BUT DO NOT SELECT YOUR BIRTHDAY CALENDAR. Save/apply.
    8) Go to the calendar app. Open up the calendar list. Wait for it to refresh. Now you should be able to turn on all your calendars you wish to see, wait for it to propagate, and confirm there are no copies. If there are copies, repeat all the steps!
YOU DO NOT need to erase your contacts. Not sure about iGust's work-around, but that's unnecessary. And christina44, I actually think this is a different problem. All my copies were on the correct date.

  • Calendar bug - half-year view glitch - Z10 10.2.1

BB10 calendar app's half-year view display has a bug that seems pretty disturbing because it is so basic:
    1) Open calendar to month view (this is my default)
    2) Swipe the content pane down to reveal the half-year view
    3) Tap the current month - this dismisses the half-year view and takes you to the month view
    4) Swipe the content pane down again to reveal the half-year view, then swipe right to view the prior half-year, then swipe left to get back to the current half-year.
The dates shown for the current month in the half-year view will be shifted.
I noticed this bug in April 2014.  The 1st of the month fell on a Tuesday.  But after doing the above described swipe sequence, the dates shown for just April, in the half-year view, are shifted forward, so that it incorrectly shows April 1 as falling on a Wednesday.  As I'm reporting this on April 30, it's unlikely to get reviewed by someone at BlackBerry in April, and I didn't try re-setting my device date to different months to see if the bug manifests for months other than April.  So, if a BlackBerry reviewer is going over this bug report later this year and cannot get the bug to manifest, they should re-set their device date to some date in April 2014.  However, as they investigate the bug, they should probably try to get it to manifest in other months, and maybe also in a leap year.
Note that if you do two right swipes in the half-year view, to go back to the prior year, then do two left swipes to again get back to the current year, the dates for the current month then line up correctly.
A bug like this really makes me lose trust in my calendar (a calendar is not a new research problem in software development, so if this is broken, what else is broken?)
    Device/OS details:
    STL100-3
    Software release:  10.2.1.2156
    OS Version: 10.2.1.2228

Confirmed that the same bad behavior is there now that the calendar has rolled forward to May.
Like I said this raises the question of what else is broken in the basic functionality of an essential app.
BlackBerry folks reading this - hope to you see you reproduce the bug, and acknowledge ingestion of a bug report into your internal bug tracking system, for priority fix on next OS release.
Others reading this, if you reproduce the bug (should be easy) - please add comments as you see fit, to get BlackBerry's attention on this one.

  • Calendar syncing problems.

So I linked my UCF (Knights Email) account to my iPhone. It's microsoft exchange based. I get all the emails just fine, and when I open up Calender on my iPhone, I can create events under the "UCF" Calender just fine. I've created numerous events under the "UCF" calender, however, they do not show up on my Calender applicaiton on my MacBook Pro. I've added the Knights Email account to my "Accounts" under system prefernces on my MBP and it takes it fine, however, in Calender on my MBP, it prompts a message saying "Calender needs a valid email address to connect to the Exchange account 'Exchange'" However the email address works just fine on my iPhone. Any suggestions? Im not trying to hook my email up on my MBP to the Knights Email, all I want is to sync the calender events that I've added on my iPhone under the UCF calender to my MBP Calender.

I had a similar prob and found that my device had 3 calendars on it, one associated with my standard email address that's been set up on the BB, the other is associated with my BB email address, and the last one was some "device" default calendar.  I had been syncing with Outlook 2007 and didn't realize I had all these insane calendars, some of which had redundant info.
I was able to merge all of the calendars into one by going into the Calendar, then pressing the Menu button > Options > type "MOVE" (without quotes).  A pop-up will appear, asking you if you'd like to merge all calendar data into the base calendar.  It should show you the email address associated with the base calendar when it asks this.
If the base calendar isn't right, you will have to go through your service books (Options > Advanced Options > Service Book) and see how many emails are associated to the calendar (CICAL), deleting the ones you wish to remove once you've verified that the email you do want to use has already been set up on the BB.

  • Duplicate BBM Group Calaendar Entries in BB10 Claendar

In the BB10 calendar app I now have 3 duplicate calendars listed for each of my BBM Groups.  If I add an entry to the BBM group calendar in BBM it shows up 3 times in the BB10 calendar.  There doesn't seem to be any way to delete the extra calendars from the calendar settings.  All I can do is uncheck some of the duplicates in the manage calendars settings but this doesn't seem to do much.  Anyone know how to delete the extra calendars?

Exactly the same issue with both my Z10 and Q10 - multiple calendars for the same group - each with a different color. Also when I switch from the Q10 to the Z10 the calendar does not show the appointments from the Q10

  • Is it possible to sync multiple mobileme accounts onto the iphone, syncing ical calendars for these multiple mobile me accounts ?

I am trying to sync two mobileme accounts into my iphone and each account have different calendars ( all being with ical NOT CALDAV).
Now, my question is can I sync these different calendars, belonging to different mobileme accounts, into the iphone? please assist me on this matter.
Basically i want to have a work calendar  to share with my colleagues and a personal calendar to share just with my friends and family.

You are correct.  This used to work in the past although admittedly I haven't tried it for some time as it was of no direct use for my purposes.
If the goal is to see another MobileMe account's calendar(s) on your iOS device then an alternative would be to share the calendar(s) in question to yourself.
    Example:
Assume you currently have MobileMe user account A on your iPhone.
Login to MM user account B with me.com which has the calendar you wish to have access to on your iPhone
    Click on Calendars
Click on the Share button for the calendar you wish to see added to your iPhone.
Type in the MobileMe email address for MM user account A and set it for read & write access
Login to MM user account A on me.com
Go to calendars and accept the invitation to join the calendar you sent from MM account B
Go your iPhone (you may need to turn it on and off to make the calendars refresh ) and check your calendars, you should now have the other calendars added to your MobileMe account A's calendar
Note: You can repeat step # 3 for each of the calendars you wish to see on your iPhone.

  • Error messages after new MobileMe Calendar upgrade. Solved?

Quick rundown of what I've been through and how I have solved my problem.
I have a MacBook running 10.5.6 and I also have Bento 3. Recently Bento (Filemaker) told me that I would have to complete a few steps before upgrading to the new MobileMe calendar. So I followed the steps exactly. (URL: http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7846/~/setting-up-bento-for-th e-new-mobileme-calendar)
After completing the steps. I proceeded to upgrade to the new calendar. Upgraded in less than a minute and then after opening up iCal on my mac & importing my calendars, thats when things started to go wrong. I kept getting error messages on almost every even I have ever created. I could barely even quit iCal due to all the error messages. Also, many of my events werent there after importing and the progress wheel kept spinning. Complete DISASTER! (*Luckily, I made plenty of backups before doing any of this so I was safe*) But Still I had NO iCal!
I searched and searched and could not find a complete solution. So what I did was the following and so far I believe it could be the solution to all of you guys's problems.
I followed these instructions on this website (URL: http://answers.makeitwork.com/how-to-reset-ical-on-your-mac-or-how-to-clean-up-y our-ical/) **I followed these exactly**
    They are below:
+Export any Calendars you wish to retain after you reset by clicking on the Calendar you wish to retain and go to File > Export… > Export…+
+Repeat the above process for every Calendar you wish to keep. (Make sure you remember where you saved them)+
    +Quit out of iCal+
+Go to Finder and click on your Home icon to display the Library folder.+
    +Open that folder+
+Open the Calendars folder in the subsequent window+
+Delete all the contents within that folder+
+NOTE: If you open iCal at this point, it will initially appear that you cleared everything. Within minutes, however, everything will come back.+
+Go to your Utilities folder and open the Terminal application+
+Enter the following command: rm -rf ~/Library/{Caches,Caches/Metadata,Preferences,Application\ Support}/iCal+
    +Exit out of Terminal+
    +Open iCal and…Voila! Brand new iCal!+
But that did not completely work. So before doing this again, I went to my iPhone and quit syncing calendars on my mobile me account. And chose to ERASE every calendar on my iPhone.
After doing that and repeating the process above, I opened up iCal and boom, it worked. Then after I had the calendars setup the way I wanted on my MacBook, I proceeded to go to Preferences>MobileMe>Sync> and then chose to sync
I then went to Me.com and checked to see if the calendar was operable and it was 100%. I could do everything like before. Then I went back to my iPhone and just turned Calendar syncing back on in my mobileme preferences.
This has solved all my problems 100%. Hope this helps someone. Just remember that as long as you created a backup of your Calendar you should be safe.

Well... seems I didn't have any answer on this. I fiddled a bit more but I have to say that I really came to wits' end at this stage. A couple of observations though:
    * I don't really understand this notion of a keyboard issue. My keyboard and its layout work properly but I will not be able to login regardless of login through GDM, KDM or Slim. Yet it's worth noting that in the case of GDM and SLIM the X server starts; I see the graphical interface, I click, etc. but when I type the trouble starts.
    * I tried to check my xsessions-errors file. The file is really big under a frame buffer, and it wasn't clear to me, but I found strange that the log was reporting all sorts of attempts to start KDE. I don't exactly know what's going on.
If anybody has any clue, let me know... It's becoming very frustrating.
    Thanks!

Im having a problem with the palm desktop. When in “Contacts” and I list (LastName,First name) and then I move to the Calendar and drag and drop a name to a Time spot Only the LAST name of the Person appears. How can I fix this so that I can see there full name ?

Any Idea how to fix the problem that I am getting when using the (Company,Last Name) and the contacts being out of order in the calander ? I have some last names starting with A then it goes to D then a B then a stack more A and none of then have a Company field filled out in them in them...
Thanks for looking into that for me but it seems really stange to offer the option but not put in the first name in the calander when you drage the name over. I hope this is fixed in the future. Can anyony sugest another desktop platform I can use if I cant fix my problem with the   (Company,Last Name) problem?
