BBC One Keeps needing pin
so far i am far from impressed since software release.
Box keeping locking up - Always need to hard reboot
Box keeps failing in it records - Records and saves but only shows blackscreen from teh recording
However, one issue is really peeing me off..... Every time i change channel and want to go back to BBC one it keeps asking for pin regardless of time of day
On my settings i have only got "rental" requires pin, nothing else is activated IE age restriction and such.
Anyone else seen this issue??? its seriously begin to annoy me 'n' missus
Finally dont know if its related, but since the software upgrade to BT vision my broadband is also going down the pan, in last 4 days i have had to reboot my Hub no less than 14 times, prior to that i might have done 1/2 reboots in previous 6 months.
Anyone else seeing these issues, or offer advice on the bbc one problem

I looked in console and its saying that it may be because of Sophos Anti-Virus, i deleted and uninstalled all traces of Sophos but looked in console and this is some of the lines coming up:

WRT610N keeps needing to be reset
Hi,
My WRT610N wireless router keeps needing to be reset to be able to connect to the internet. I updated the firmware about two weeks ago and things were going great again until a day or so ago, then it started cutting out multiple times a day. I checked and there doesnt seem to be any new firmware, so now I'm at a loss as to what I need to do to fix this.
I have 3-4 computers connecting to it at a time (1 xp pc, 1 vista pc, 1-2 laptops with vista i think). Even when its just the two pcs using it, it stll disconnects.
One thing to note that has happened multiple times: the two pc's both have everquest 2 running on them, and it seems when one is logged into the game, and the other starts to log in to them (it will almost be logged in, on a loading game resources screen) the wireless router will need to be reset. This has happened enough times to make me think theres something to it.
Also, there have been a couple times when after resetting and getting it working, there will be a message that pops up about having conflicting ips, then that message goes away.I think it a problem with firmware of your Router, you need to upgrade the firmware of your Router..
Go to website linksysbycisco.com/downloads.........insert model no of your router in search tab......select proper version of your router........download the firmware file......save that file on desktop
Firmware Upgrade/Reflash
Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware on the device : -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful" After the firmware upgrade, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned back to the same page OR it will say "Page cannot be displayed".
Now reset your router :
Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router... -

So if anyones got the above set to 'series record' you need to delete it from your scheduled series recordings and then re-set it on the TV guide in the week MOTD2 starts.

Good post! And good thinking too. But it's my experience, as you've pointed out above, series record only picks up on series links and not one off programmes. It may work, but I wouldn't rely upon it.

I can't update apps on my iphone 5. theirs an old apple ID. That I don't have the pass word. I've created a new apple ID. but the old one keeps popping up. I have it on the Itunes on the phone but the old one keeps comming up and asking for a pass word.
Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will have to delete the apps from the phone and re-purchase them using your Apple ID.

If you can't update via wifi, you can use a friend's computer, or an Apple store will do it for you.
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Because you need to buy iLife 08 or newer on DVD first. If you're using iDVD 05, you probably have a PowerPC Mac and can't use iLife 11.

Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your current Apple ID
Change the Apple ID to the old one and save changes.
Sign in on the device with the same password for your account.
After logging in and signing out of Facetime, Messages, iCloud and itunes and app store, go back to Apple ID.com and change it back to your normal Apple ID.
Go to your email account and reverify your account by clicking on the Verify now link
Now re-login to those services with your normal Apple ID and password. -

Did you change the ID you are using for iCoud? If so, did you delete the account, then sign back in with your new ID on your device?

Well, if that's the case, you must have a different finish on yours than I have on mine. Either that or you are extrordinarily careful when using it. Mine literally scratches when using a microfibre cloth. I would really like to know whether yours is somehow different. It would really piss me of if some people got a good quality exterior that doesn't scratch and some of us got the opposite. Did you try holding your player under a light to see if there is anything. You may just be looking at it in bad lighting. I find it hard to believe, unless your unit has a different type of plastic cover, that it hasn't received any type of scratches. Can you take a picture of it's It probably seems as though I don't believe you. That's not the case. Its just that I was so careful not to scratch it last night and it got scratched anyway. I have read of similar experiences by others who have the Vision:M as well.
I wish I could return mine and get a different color, it really upsets me that a $300 item that is meant to be hand held and used heavily scratches this easily!! If anyone from creative is reading this, I would like to know what you plan to do about it! I didn't pay all of that money to have this player look like Sh*t when I am only using it the way it was intended and am being very careful at that!

Why does the BBC One Highlights page not display the content of its panes?
There seems to be something up with their javascript that produces slightly different image url's than on other browsers.
Instead of something like this:
