BBE Sonic Sweet Plug-In in Logic Pro 9?

I just recently bought the BBE Sonic Sweet Plug-In, and I installed the AU 64-bit version onto my Mac, but I can't seem to figure out how to add it to my list of AU Plug-ins in Logic Pro 9. Any chance that someone could help me out here?

Does the installed BBE plug-in show up in your Library>Audio>Components folder?
Have you checked to see that it's listed and successfully validated here: Logic menu (just left of the Apple menu)>Preferences>Audio Units Manager?
So you're using Logic 9.0.0?
I'd contact NomadFactory tech support about you're issue.  You'll probably need to either download the latest version of the BBE and/or update you're version of Logic.

Hi all. I just purchased BBE Sonic Sweet which is a vst plugin. I have pointed Audition to its folder and have enabled the three plug-ins BUT I don't see them under the effects menu. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  • I have Antares Autotune 7 with 64 bit compatibility already loaded onto my iLok USB key. How do I import the plug-in onto Logic Pro X?

I bought the update today because I was told that Logic Pro X needed 64 bit version of Antares Autotune 7. Now that I have bought and downloaded the license onto my iLok USB key, how do upload the plug-in onto Logic Pro X?

Have you installed the actual Audiounit (AU) plugin via it's installer, onto your Mac?
The iLok does not have the actual plugin on it... Just some code that the plugin checks... as part of its anti piracy system.

    hi there all.
last march (07), i went to an event in london called the Sounds Expo....
I was given a CD called the WAVES PLUG INS demo.
I put it in my mac and from that day on, i have been unable to use any third party plug ins such as fxpansion GURU, native instruments Absynth 4, PSP Vintage Warmer etc etc...
This is due to the PACE protection scheme that was probably updated by the Waves installer. Oops.
I have reinstalled logic several times, but nothing has changed. The usual AU plug ins in Logic work just fine. Its anything that is third party that doesnt work, like extra soft synths of effects etc...
Logic has NOTHING to do with this issue. This is a copy-protection issue. I RECOMMEND you do the following: Run Onyx, and delete ALL caches, especially the kernel caches. This will reset the PACE cache, wherefore the plug-in list for the copy protection software will be reset, so you can see your plugins again. I've been through this.
I phoned The editor of SOund on Sound magazine and he suggeste4d that I reinstall OSX itself...
No disrespect to whomever you talked to over there, but the guy does not know what he is talking about.
I'm a little worried if i do this, i will lose all my files????
Yes you will. DO NOT REINSTALL OSX.
Any advice on how to get these plugins working anyone???
    See my answer above.

  • Compatible Plug-ins for Logic Pro X?

    Hello Apple Community,
I am new to Logic Pro X, I am coming from Pro Tools. The only reason why I have purchased Logic Pro is for composing music. I love Pro Tools only for recording audio, mixing, and mastering. I was wondering if anyone knew if the following Plug-in companies are compatible with Logic Pro X. Waves, iZotope, Native Instruments Komplete 9, Universal Audio (UAD).
If these are not compatible, if you could let me know what plug-in companies are it would be very much appreciated.
         Thanks!

They all make OS X compatible plugins. Logic uses the AU (Audio Unit) format, so VST plugins won't work. For UAD I believe you need extra hardware.

  • No Plug-ins found Logic Pro 7 & Pro Tools 7.4

Hi everyone, I'm having some minor difficulty. The other day I did a fresh install of Tiger on my HDD and reinstalled my software (PT, FCP, LP) yet whenever I open Logic or Pro Tools they tell me I have absolutely NO plug-ins. No EQ, No Compressor, nada. I have recently loaded a second gig of RAM but so far I have not come across any RAM related problems such as hang times or crashes. So far the only problems I've encountered on my Mac at all is these plug-ins. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm Running Tiger 10.4.11. I use an M-audio 410 interface. I've had the software installed before no trouble, so there's no compatibility issues involved that I know of. As it says in the headline I'm running Logic Pro 7 and Pro Tools 7.4 m-powered. When I say EQ is not showing up, I mean there is absolutely no stock EQ.
Lets say in Logic I go to my first audio track and click on "Inserts" it has a grey pop-up block that reads "No Plug-Ins" and it's the same for Pro Tools. I don't have any plug-ins that do not come stock with my programs and for some reason if I'm in Logic, I can not even access Garage band instruments. The only that seems to have stuck in the installation process is presets and templates. But if I click on a preset, for say vocals, it will "insert" the appropriate plug-ins into the "Inserts" section, but then will put a line through it saying the plug-ins are not available.
All my drivers are up to date, and so are my Mac OS X updates.
You Need the Logic 7.2.3 update to be compatible with OS Tiger 10.4.11. Unfortunately, the 7.2 update was a paid update which Apple no longer sells.
The Pro Tools Might be trickier. you need to have the plugins folder placed in the correct place, and unfortunately I d not know for M-Powered if it's the same as for the othrer two versions, LE and HD.
In LE and Hd the plugins folder should be in:
    /MacintoshHD / Library/ Application Support / Digidesign / Plug-Ins
    Or they won't show up.
    Cheers

  • How do you access T-Racks EQ plug-in in Logic Pro 9?

I just installed the T-Racks EQ plug-in I got for free for attending a music seminar and I can't figure out how to access the insert from within Logic Pro 9. I have several other third-party plug-ins/inserts installed and have had no problem finding/accessing them within Logic.
I feel stupid for asking, but does anyone know how to access the T-Tacks EQ insert from within Logic Pro? Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions Eriksimon. I checked in the Library>Audio>Plug Ins>Components folder and there were no t-racks.component files in there. You are correct that there is a stand-alone shell for T-RackS and I downloaded that after I tried installed the EQ component three times without any success. I then noticed that the EQ component was ver 1.3 and the T-RackS shell was version 3.0, so figured it might be that I was trying to install a version of the EQ that was too old. Once I installed the T-Racks 3.0 shell, the Classic EQ showed up in the T-RackS stand-alone shell, and it is also now showing up in Logic Pro. When I click on one of the Insert buttons in the channel strip, the T-RackS Classic EQ shows up under "Audio Units/IK Multimedia", which is where I originally expected it to show up.
    Thanks again for your assistance.

  • Missing plug-ins on Logic Pro X

I dont know if the OS update screwed up all my plug-ins on Logic, but now i scroll to pick an instrument on a track and turns out i have none. I open up my old sessions and find that they are missing as well, can someone help? *** is going on.

What does the AudioUnit Manager In Logic Pro X's preferences tell you about your plugins? Are they found and validated there?
    if not,
Are they all 64bit versions? ( as LPX doesn't support the older 32bit versions....)
    Which plugins are missing?
Are you looking in the right places.. Instrument button for SI plugins and Insert button for FX plugins...
Failing all that, post up a screenshot of your AU manager and also one of the Instrument or FX dropdown menu to indicate where the plugins are missing from and whats there instead

  • How to PERMANENTLY get rid of 3rd party Plug-ins in Logic pro 9.

Hi, im trying to get rid of some 3rd party plug-ins on logic, but it only looks like i can disable them. (sweeping them under the rug isn't helpful) This is a problem because i have one version of a plug-in that doesn't work and im gonna get another of the same version (with expansions) to replace it so im concerned that the 2 versions will conflict with one another and i wont get the expansions i payed for. Anyone have a solution to permanently get rid of plug-ins? -Tim

The component files of the third party plugins are in:
    Local Drive\Library\Audio\Plug-Ins\Components
You can make a backup of a given component (say in a desktop folder) and replace the component with other version etc.
You can use [Pacifist|http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/mac/12743] as well to install/extract a component from a given installation pack etc.
Edit: Sorry Immo I duplicated your reply solutions hitting posting a few sec. later...

  • Can you import software instruments and plug-ins  from Logic Pro to GB

    Hello,
I purchased Logic 7 Pro and I find it to be way too much for me. Is there a way to take the software instruments from Logic to GB? I am not even sure Logic comes with more software instruments than GB. Do they both rely on the Jam Packs for additional instruments.
Is there anything else GB can borrow from Logic. I know I can move the sound effects aif files and use them. Just wondering about other plug-ins and the like.
    Thanks!!
      Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Here's how you get past the static interruption.
Make your software track and ignore the static interruption. Its not being recorded into the midi information.
Then export the track out and reimport it to a new track. Do this twice. Your export/import WILL have static in it but since it was random your two tracks will not have the static in identical places.
Edit out the static in track one by replacing it with a static-less portion from track two. You'll now have a complete loop with no static interruption.
xs4sis. The cool thing about the demos is you don't have to program anything just use the presets. Who CAN program those **** synths anyway?
There are some demos that have a hundred presets to them. I love that!

  • Missing plug-ins in Logic Pro X after updating OS X Yosemite to 10.10.2

I just updated Yosemite from 10.10.1 to 10.10.2 on my MacBook Pro and opened Logic X after the reboot to find that all of my plug-ins are missing. This includes not only the third party plug-ins that I have installed on my machine but specifically with this session file, the Apple/Logic plug-ins are missing as they are the only ones I was using.
I've deleted the cache file in the library/audiounits folder on my machine thinking there was some glitch there but that did not help.
Does Logic X somehow open in 64bit in Yosemite and the Apple plug-ins are opening at 32bit thus rendering them incompatible? I've read that that Logic X does not support 32bit plug-ins but if that were true why are the Apple plug-ins missing, they are 64bit correct?
btw, where has the Audio Units Manger been moved to in Logic X?

I just uninstalled/reinstalled Logic X. Apple plug-ins are still missing.
Has anyone heard of anything like this? I can't find any mention of this specific issue online here or elsewhere...

  • Is there a plug-in for Logic Pro that records all live output to disk?

Hi, I noticed Digidesign have a plug in called Flashback which literally records up to 15 minutes of the master audio output for all those 'happy accidents' or when you miss recording a genius solo because it was just a run-through. Is there anything like this for Logic? thanks, Chris

right click on transport bar, select "Customize Transport Bar ...", select "Capture Recording" checkbox.
If you're in cycle mode and playing on an input enabled track, this button will capture the last time through the cycle and place it on the timeline as if you'd been recording with the little red light on. Works for audio and midi.

  • Installing plug ins on Logic pro.

I would like to know if there is a specific folder to install AU plug ins of brands other than Apple.I had no issues when I installed Native Instruments that installed itself on the default location.A few other plugins do not seem to show up in Logic.SO I was wondering if there was a specific folder I need to install these plug ins? If so please specify which folder.

    Hi
Audio Unit plugins should be installed in (either)
    (Startup disc) Library:Audio:Plug-Ins:Components
    or they can be in
    <User> Library:Audio:Plug-Ins:Components
Note that you have to start Logic in 32bit mode for the Audio Unit Manager to successfully validate new plugs.

  • New Kontact 5 player and plug-in for Logic Pro 9.

Any hints on how to get Logic to recognize it and install as AU plug-in ?

A redo of the upgrade installation, double checked the AU file format; no help... got mad and shut it down. It was there when I restarted and brought up Logic 9 fresh. The opening splash was longer and I could it it recognize and load the plug-in.
