BBM on Q10

I have a q10 and I can send BBM messages to any BBM contact on any BB  With the recent addition of apples to the BBM world I can receive bbm's from apple phones tghey cannot receive mine..Has anyone experienced tghis and istheir a quick solution Is thgis a phone issue or a BBM issue

I haven't seen users with this issue... I am in communication back and forth with IOS users on BBM with no issue.
How many iOS users are you seeing this issue with?

    Thank you for pointing this out. Might I rephrase that to, go to updates. press and hold on a update. Tap on "hide all updates" and this would clear the existing updates of that person, and blocks all further updates from that user.

  • No email or BBM on Q10 help!

    hi around 2 days ago i noticed that the small blackberry logo on my Q10 (in the top right hand corner) doesn't show anymore, even so, i still was able to send and receive emails and use bbm but today those have stopped working
    Whatsapp and browser works fine but not email and bbm.
    what has happened?

    At the top right of the home screen, what is the signal indicator... 3G, 4G, LTE, EDGE, or what?
    Look at your Settings > Network Connections > Mobile Network > Is your top two settings ON
    (Mobile Network - ON)
    (Data Services - ON)
    Are you able to make a phone call?

  • Cant acess bbm on Q10

    Something weird happened today. BBM closed and whenever I open BBM , I cant access to it . it is written BBM SETUP
    1- Opening BBM
    2-Associating BBM with your Blackberry Account
    3-you are singed in with the following Blackbeery Id : (my email)
    then 3 options
    a) Restore Device Switch
    b) Restore Using Email
    c)Continue
    I choose restore using email but i get temporary server error
    i have 10.2 OS

  • BBM not working over mobile network

    BBM on Q10 not working over mobile network.
    Working only via wifi.
    Carrier: KSA STC
    OS: Official 10.2.1.2102
    Please help.
    Its very disappointing that bbm is not working on bb.

    Can you try sending a BBM friend a PIN message, not in BBM, but in your Compose Message > PIN.
    You will need that contact's BBM PIN number...
    Do you see the message sent, and does it hae a D beside or R afterwards?

  • BBM is not working on my new q10

    Hello,
    i just bought new Q10 yesterday and since then i couldnt log into BBM, today i wiped data and factory reset the device and still i have the same error. it says
    Temporary Server Error. A temporary server error has occurred. Please try again
    Ealier i used bold 9900 and i logged in to my blackberry ID at the begining and now this is not working

    i have same problem but how to solve this is there any one who guide us ....

    it says the associated email address i give is incorrect or temporary error of server??

  • Q10 BBM

    First of all I want to know if the BBM is part of the OS update or not, because I can't find the app in app world!
    Secondly, I have few problems with the BBM:
    1) I can't see some symbols characters.
    2) It doesn't vibrate when I receive a PING!!!
    3) The display pictures most of the time are very small, I have to rezise the picture or just save someone else's dp.
    4) I don't have the video or voice call features.
    Finally, I have to wait like 8-9 seconds when I switch the keyboard to another language.
    Please help!

    as far as I know, for the Z10 and the Q10, BlackBerry Messenger is part of the OS.
    1) what symbols are you talking about?
    4) are you using 3G or Wifi? Does Etisalat allows you to use BBM Voice and BBM video?

  • Q10 does not copy entire BBM chat text

    My previous three BB's all copied the entire BBM Chat text when you selected menu option COPY CHAT.  My new Blackberry Q10 does not copy the entire text of the BBM chat (meaning all the chat history back to the beginning of that chat conversation).   It is only copying about 8 messages worth (even though I have many days of chat in the full chat history).
    Why is this?  Any clues?   I restarted my phone in case it changed something, but no luck, It still only copies a small portion of the chat conversation.   - and given there are hundreds of individual messages, I dont want to copy each message one by one.

  • BBM not working in Q10

    Dears 
    Since tow days ago I cant not send any brodcast to any contact in my BBM just I recieve theare brodcast 
    I visit costomer care center in saudi arabia and they informe its general issue in the server 
    So please I need your suppot to fix this issue

  • Q10 - BBM Video Dilemna

    I recently upgraded from the Torch to Q10.  Previous advertising of the Q10 and on BlackBerry's website, I should be able to do a BBM Video Chat on my mobile network, right?  But why can't I?  I can only do a BBM Video Chat when I'm in a wi-fi area.  Please help.

    I called AT&T and advised them of the problem but AT&T referred me or transferred me to BlackBerry.  I spoke with a BlackBerry service rep (male), who told me that BBM Video Chat only works on wi-fi. I told him but BlackBerry's website on Q10 BBM Video Screen Share shows and tells that it can work on mobile network, which I should be able to turn On or Off. He said no it's not a feature. Holy Moly. What's the truth?

  • BBM is unable to connect to the server for Q10

    I have a Q10. My BBM is not working. Everything else is in working order. I have done a hard reset. I have even 
    'reloaded" software back to its original factory settings. I have called my service provider and they are clueless and I rather not pay $50 service fee to Blackberry support.

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
    KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Delete and Resend Service Books (pre-BB10 devices only)
    KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
    If you have no CMIME entry, then skip the deletion
    KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Reboot
    Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
    BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

    Hi, I want to transfer files from my encrypted media card (encrypted by using my device password) via BBM to another BB Q10. Will the receiving party require a decryption password to read a file? Can a file from my encrypted media card be displayed on the receiving party's BBQ10 after transfer at all?

    Yes, it will be displayed if you send it from that device. NO de-encryption needed for pictures via BBM.
