Bbm recent update box disappear

Hi,
From last 2 days my BBM recent update box is disappear. I am unable to check the recent updated photos or status of any one in my list. I am using blackberry 8520.
Kindly help me on this .I would be very thankful to you.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

BBM Recent Updates Disappeared!

Hi,
I have a Curve 9300 and the Recent Updates box disappeared...I have done a restart and removed the battery, but it hasn't come back. Is there any way to reactivate it?

When you clear all the Recent updates it removes it from your BBM Until someone makes a new update.
(it should come back if one of your contacts makes a update to there BBM such as changes the Display picture Etc.)

Why have the tweet and status update boxes disappeared from notification page a werk after updating to iOS 6v

When i updated to iOS 6 last week i had the tweet and facebook status update boxes on my notification page and have been using them daily but today they have both disappeared and i don't know how to get them back.

Your issue has already been addressed ad nauseum. Please search this forum and/or look in the "More Like This" box to your right.

I don't know what a "curve one" is. If you need help, please learn to use detaill in your posting so that YOUR information is helpful to those here wanting to help you.
It is always helpful to receive help, to include your exact BlackBerry device model # and carrier name, so that when you have a question, that information won't need to be asked up front. Also, stating your device Operating System version is normally another common question, found on your BlackBerry at Options > About, third line down, looks like "v4.x.x.xxx"
In the future, please learn to create your own thread when you have your own personal issue to discuss... even if your issue might be "similar" the originally posted. yours is not the same, and posting in a existing thread like this just clutters the original posters thread.

Can't see recent updates in BBM

I basically just talk to one person with BBM. She updates her status quite a bit. Lately I haven't been able to see "recent updates" in the main BBM window but I see her change it in the chat. Why can't I see recent updates? How can I fix it?

I think you can try two things : the soft reboot, and if it does not work, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can't lose data with these two reboots.
Soft reboot :
1) Hit the three following keys at the same time :
- Alt
- Right Shift
- Delete
2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.
Hard reboot :
1) your Blackberry device is on
2) remove the battery and wait for a minute
3) Put the battery back
4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Updating the OS will not remove any apps, so you need to check out what went wrong there.
Where did you get iPhoto from? Is that a recent Mac? If so you can re-download it from the App Store. It'll be on your Purchases list.

What account were you using to sync your Calendar? Make sure that account is added to the device, and make sure that Calendars is turned on for that account.
Then, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and make sure that under the Calendar section that 'Sync' is set to 'All Events'.
Then go to the Calendar app, go to Calendars, and make sure that you have that account enabled.
Then, close out all the running apps on your device, and restart it.
Open up your Calendar app. Are your entries back?

Here is the fix!

When a link opens a new email box window, there is no text box, ever since the recent update--my problem, or Firefox glitch?

I tried to be pretty complete with the one line question. When I hit reply to an email, all works fine. If I click on a live email link and that causes a new window with email to open, the address boxes are there (From, To) but there is no box present into which I could type an actual message. This began I am just about certain after the most recent update.

You can do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I spent over an hour on hold with Apple last night only to find out they are being bombarded with calls about this. Just bought the iPhone 6 a few days ago, lost my ringtones, rebought them because I didn't want the hassle of being on hold like I was. They disappeared after 24 hours! Re purchased them thinking it was a glitch, nope, gone again! Apple tech said they are having problems with the 8.1.1 update and you can call to get reimbursed. They are working on a new update and hope that will fix the problem but they can't guarantee it! What??? They don't know when the update will be available and if it will fix the problem. But they said the ringtones should hopefully reappear on the phones......Get it together Apple!!

No BBM contacts have display pictures. Wont Show up on Recent Updates

I currently have a curve 8520 with everything updated .. bbm and os are updated to new
My contacts will NOT show any dispaly pics and it will NOT show that anyone has changed their pictures in my recent updates. Before it was working. Now it is not.

It's just slow servers and syncing of those contact pictures.
There is nothing you can do ON the device to make it happen.
Just be patient.

I recently updated my OS and all of my contacts disappeared.

I recently updated my OS and all of my contacts disappeared. I plugged my phone back in to restore from the backup. When I did this, my phone starting syncing again and restored the new backup and set that as the backup...no contacts or text messages...please tell me there is a way to correct this.

Where you synced your music there is a tab that says Apps. When you click your device on the left in itunes and it tells you the serial and phone number, just aboved hit the apps tab and choose to sync them again.
