I want to restrict the user by company code.
Specific Company code user should view the company code shopping cart.
i.e a User of ABCD company code has to view only ABCD company code shopping carts.
Apart from this ADMIN users has to view all the shopping carts.

BBP_MON_SC is a transaction that is used by administrator and it belongs to SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR role. Administrator has the authorisations to access data across the organization unit. This transaction is suitable for the administrator.
If you would like to assign the same to users who have employee role, you will have to create custom specific role to suit your modification.
By default, this service (transaction) is assigned to the single role EBP Administrator (SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR) and can be called up in the administrator LaunchPad via Administration -> Monitor Shopping Cart. In Enterprise Buyer on an Exchange mode, this service is available via the composite role SAP_BBP_MULTI_ADMINISTRATOR.
Monitor shopping cart is used by an administrator. In such as case, system doesn't check for authorizations as the administrator is allowed to search for shopping carts with different combinations.

Make sure that BASIS Team has assigned correct roles and profiles to the administrator user. Ask BASIS to use SAP provided roles and then you can try out again. (Try this role - SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR / SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR )

Incase it does not help, then, Without assigning any other roles, try logging to the transaction - BBP_MON_SC via SAP GUI instead of webpage and then do once you get some authorization issue /error, using SU53 Transaction, you can get the required Authorization objects need to attached to the user profile.
Alternatively, For time being, Try assigning SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to the Administrator Buyer user role of that user.
Then try out using SAP GUI Logon.

Trying to delete shopping cart via GUI (not web) tran BBP_MON_SC

In the GUI I'm entering "/n" to get out of the Easy Access menu and then running tran BBP_MON_SC. I'm then entering a specific shopping cart number and clicking the Start button. On the results screen if I just click the "Delete Shopping Cart" button, nothing happens. I was told to try entering the number left to the shopping cart number ("1") in the field left of the "Delete Shopping Cart" button and then try clicking the "Delete Shopping Cart" button, but still nothing happens. I know the GUI screen layout is a little weird so I'm obviously doing something wrong. Please note I'm able to successfully delete this same shopping cart in the web tran Monitor Shopping Cart. Any help is appreciated.
We're running the EBP extended classic scenario with SRM 4.0 and SRM_SERVER 5.00.

In the Transaction BBP_MON_SC in GUI login/mode, clcik on field - Created By (User ID) in the General Data section, say TESTUSER and click on "START BUTTON" on top of page.
A new screen will appear displaying all the shopping carts that user has created. Based on the line number in the left-side of the screen, enter that line number in the top left corner of screen in Frame1 and press on "Delete Shopping Cart" button to delete that particular shopping cart...
I can easily delete the SC from GUI by this way.. Hope this definitely answer your query and help you as well..

Bbp_mon_sc attributes

Can someone tell me what attributes are required to run the bbp_mon_sc transaction to view carts of any requestor? I am reaching the selection screen of the transaction and placing a single person as created by. When I hit start I receive the following message:
"Attribute for user & contains errors. Inform system admin." (BBP_PU 245).
The problem is I don't know what attribute it is looking for.

Thank you for your reply. Couple of additional questions, when you say assign role SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR to your user you are referring to putting "SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR" as the value of the ROLE attribute in the org. structure, not assigning that role to your userid via SU01, correct?
I added "SAP_BBP_STAL_ADMINISTRATOR" to the role value attribute in the org. structure. This has allowed me to obtain a list of carts for the user but when I try to see the details of the cart I receive the following message:
"The internet transaction server could not start transaction BBPSC11 because the following error: Attribute for user contains errors. Inform system administrator.
Any ideas. I only assigned the role attribute for myself, noone else in the org. structure has a role attribute assigned, do I need to assign for everyone?

Monitor Shopping Cart report(BBP_MON_SC) not showing detail Limit carts

Hi All,
We have a problem with Monitor Shopping Cart report(BBP_MON_SC).
This is not showing up the details of Limit cart.
It gives a pop-up which says "No Shopping Carts for your Search Criteria".
We are in SRM 5.0 and ECC as backend.
Any help in this regards is highly appreciated.

When i go to BBP_MON_SC: and look for a SC - yes i can find it .
Once i am in...
If i click on any of the tabs: Display SC.Item overview, messsages etc.,
I get a error message...

BBP_MON_SC - BADI

Hi,
Would like to know if the BADI BBP_MON_SC can be used to control the list output as per criteria like Purchase Group(assigned to the SC item).
We need to give access to the buyers for this transaction and restrict the SC's they view to their own purchase groups. That is the list of SC's to be shown for any selection criteria they enter should contain only those which have items assigned to their respectivepurchase groups.
Is this possible?
Which method should be used and how?
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

you could use method BEFORE_LIST_SCREEN from BAdI BBP_MON_SC. Just delete all unwanted entries from tables CT_LIST_HEADER & CT_LIST_ITEM.

Restrict BBP_MON_SC

Hi SRM-gurus,
I found thread BBP_MON_SC:
"Does anyone have any experience with the restrictions on Monitor Shopping Cart?
When using BBP_MON_SC we would like to restrict the access to only those within same purchasing organization.
We have added the purch. org object id to the role, however when searching we still see results from other purchasing orgs."
This is exactly what we'd like to do in your SRM 5.0 system. The solution sounds quite simple with Badi BBP_WF_LIST and filter BUS2121.
But how to filter on the POrg? This is not a simple filter, right? How should the coding look like?

In SRM 5.0 you should also use BADI BBP_MON_SC for restrictions on the monitor.
Fill the following fields in the BADI:
cs_header-proc_org = 'O 50005226'. <-- OBJID of POrg
cs_header-auth_transfer = ' '.
cs_header-auth_get_status = ' '.
cs_header-auth_alerts = ' '.
cs_header-auth_sc_display = 'X'. <-- user can display SC
cs_header-auth_sc_change = ' '.

BBP_MON_SC transaction

When trying to utilize this transaction in our production system I am recieving a interpreter failed message. I have published the BBP_MON_SC service in SE80 and my user has the SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR role assigned. The transaction works fine in our development system. Any ideas on what could possibly be wrong? We are on SRM_SERVER 5.0 patch level 7.

Hi,
The "interpreter fail" message can mean you have a dump in the transaction.
To check:
-Connect in SAP GUI with the same user
-key in '/n' to exit the sap easy access menu
-key 'BBP_MON_SC' to launch the transaction.
Then you may have the answer to your issue.

BBP_MON_SC read only privileges

We have a situation where we want selected users to have access to BBP_MON_SC in read only mode i.e. They should not be able to Delete SC or Delete Line items or change any item.

You can retsrict using specific roles and based on those ROLES you can write the logic in the BADi.
In the BADI,first read the User name(User who has logged in) SY-UNAME,then get the details for that user using the FM "BBP_READ_ATTRIBUTES". Assign him the Required role in the Org structure Attribute "ROLE" and get this role using the above FM.Then based on this role,you can accordingly set the Auth parameters in the BADI for a group of users.

BBP_MON_SC - Disable ability to Delete

We would be interested in making the BBP_MON_SC tool available to several users, however, we do not what to give them the ability to delete the shopping carts. Can someone tell me if you have disabled this functionality, and how you accomplished this.

BBP_MON_SC : does not show the details of the Shopping cart

We are in SRM4.0 and Stack 11.
when we use the transaction:BBP_MON_SC to check the Shopping cart and get into the details, the system does not show the "details of the shopping cart".
The sequence of the steps :
1) click on the "monitor shopping cart"(BBP_MON_SC) in our web browser
and search the SC by date.
2) The list of the SC created on the specific date come up.
3) when we select a SC to get into the details the system shows
a "BLANK SCREEN".

First check whether you have implementedany custom BADI at the SC item level.If the BADi is wrongly implemented then you may not be able to see the item details.

Log on to web application

Hello!
I am very new to SRM and I try to log in to the user interface for almost a week now, but no success till now
I get the message that SSO login is not possible and therefore sending the password is not secure, and if I still want to login a pop will appear asking for user id and password. I click login, I get the pop up, I type the user id and password from the SRM system and I get the following error message:

What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system E22 in transaction ST22.

If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server bedusp5501l3_E22_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.

Please check whether the User ID you are using to Log into BBP_PD (and seems to be assigned in the org structure also)is consistent and has no errors in tcode USERS_GEN. You should check the user, it's not set up properly in USERS_GEN Transaction, Else repair the user.
To maintain the user attributes you must have the Administrator role.. Your user should have role SAP_BBP-STAL_ADMINISTRATOR and be integrated in the org structure. your user must be integrated in SRM organizational structure. To see which attributes are missing, you can click on the user in PPOMA_BBP to see details, and go to last tab "Check". This will list all required attributes depending on used scenarios (so you may not require all of them). You can also use transaction BBP_ATTR_CHECK to check user's attributes for a particular scenario.

This is an extremely urgent issue.
We are getting the following message in SRM while adding a new approver to the Shopping cart once the - 'No detailed information exists for this person'
We have implemented the following OSS Notes in the SRM 5.5 system, Release 700 after rasing a call with SAP.

 Cannot add additional approver
 We are now on SRM 5.5 and a document attached shows the
 patch levels
 from SPAM.
 In shop transaction, it is possible to change the
 default approvers,
 but not possible to Add.
 When we add, the system shows the list of available
 approvers, allows
 selection, but "transfer" button does not actually
 transfer.
 When the cart is saved, the added approval shows as "no
 approval
 available".
 We are using the standard workflows for 2 step approval.
 A document is attached to show what happens and the
 results of checks
 we have performed.
 BUS2121 also shows as ok when checked.
Any pointers what could be possible reasons.
