BBPSC04 'open for confirmation' search results incorrect?

Hi Experts,
We are on an SRM 5.0 implementation, classic scenario.
When we go to the check status (BBPSC04) and select as a status 'Open for confirmation', we receive an incomplete list we think. For example. We have a shopping cart with two items. For one item, a purchase requisition is created and for the second item, a purchase order is created. We do not see this item in our list if we select 'open for confirmation'. If we select status 'all', than we can see this SC, although we cannot click on the icon to create a confirmation. (In R/3 we can create a confirmation for this item and also in SRM if we access using BBPCF03) Any idea what could cause this behaviour?
What is the exact definition of the status 'Open for confirmation'?

Adobe Reader for mobile search result is INCORRECT. It is inconsistent with the search results from other PDF reader apps.
I have a spreadsheet file converted into a PDF. Doing a search on the document using a Adobe Reader on a PC shows 14 search results. Opening the same document on the Google Drive app also shows 14 search results. But when opening the same file to the Adobe Reader for Android, it only shows two results. (See screenshots (left/first is from Adobe Reader for Android)).
My device is an Xperia Z2 with Android 4.4.4.

It seems that Adobe Reader for mobile has issues only to this file. I have not thoroughly tested it with other PDF files though, but just this 1 out of the 5 files I have tried had issues. Attached herewith is the file I used the search with. Sent a copy to your email [email protected] too.
Note that the file was made from a spreadsheet in a PC and then saved as PDF from the same spreadsheet application.

Open SharePoint 2013 Search Results (EML files) In The Client Application

Hi, I have a problem about using sharepoint 2013 search for EML files:
When i click on the search result link *.eml, the browser open for the email file, i can only view the content of the EML file, but actually i want to see the full info of it like using an email client application outlook express including From:,To:,Date:,Subject:,ect.
How can i click on the search result link to open an email client application to view the result?

Can I customize the standard columns for the search results (list view) specifically?

When searching for emails I would like to adjust the columns in the search results list view, e.g. add the sender's address. This I would like to save as standard columns specifically for the search results list view, since in other contexts I do not need it. However, I can only set standard columns for existing folders, not for the context of "search results".

Other column headers can be selected in the same way using the far right 'Select columns to display' icon.
Any column headers you select will not be remembered if you close and later peform another search.
If you click on 'Save as Search folder'
This will create a folder in your Folder Pane and you can select column(s) you wish to display.
Any Column headers you choose to display are selected for that saved search folder.
The column headers only change if you select to reset defaults on that folder or from another folder you select to apply to other folders for either the search folder or all folders in the account.

The QuickFilter type of search is done on the folder that is selected.
You are still in the same folder, it has simply ''filtered'' what it is displaying, so it will obviously still display the same column headers.

DEFAULT Heading, Title, Main Text...for google search result??

Every pages when we added in iWeb it'll come with some default Text Box shown as
*"Type a heading for your webpage here", "Type the main text for your page here", "Type the title for the page" ...*
Do the above default text box helps for Google search result?
Any other useful purpose for that?

You could find out if its the same thing by doing the following:
Add a text box to your home page, publish your iWeb site to a folder, click on +"Visit Site Now"+ and then in Safari do +View > View Source+. Then look for the title tag that the article talks about:

Is there a keyboard shortcut to open first google search result in a new page?

I would like to go to the first result of a google search easily, as I do in Chorme. In Chrome you can click TAB to hi-light the first result's link, then with a click open it. In Firefox, I can't do this, because if I click on TAB it will require me a lots of clicks to reach the first results.
I am using the apostrophe and the keyboard to search within the links of the page.
My goal is to open the first link without moving my hands from the keyboard.

Some users have reported that logging into your Google account disables this feature, but I haven't noticed that myself.

Show page correct - store search results incorrect

Hi. I submitted my feed:

Received the iTunes show page:

The show page has the correct details - Podcast image, "The Investigative Author" and description etc.
When I search for my show in iTunes, the search results display the old information when I initially submitted the feed: Default Wordpress image, original blog title "The First Time Author". If I select the show, it shows the page with the correct, updated information.
How can I get the search page to update? It seems bizzare that the search is incorrect when the actual show page is up-to-date.
Any help is much appreciated!

I'm afraid I can't answer that - I'm not privy to the exact method by which the various parts of the Store work. If you feed is behaving entirely correctly in the Store page then there isn't anything you can do except wait and hope it will eventually correct itself: you could ask Support -

How to create a Display template for people search results

I've just installed Sharepoint 2013 and started to play around with it. Seems to be many improvements - among these are the ability to create Display templates.
On my publishing page there is a default "employee lookup" app which returns prefferred name, title and department as default when I try to search.
I would love to return mobile number aswell so I have tried to do the following:
I made a copy of Display _Catalogs/Masterpages/Display Templates/Search/Item_Person.html
Edited that one with the following:
1. Added 'MobilePhone':'MobilePhone' to the "Managed Property mapping" in the top of the html document:

Error while opening file from search result in SharePoint Server 2013

I have configured a file system search in SharePoint serve 2013, it is crawling the data and displaying in search result.
But while click on file to open, it gives error "Cannot find 'file://filesystemPath/filename'. Make sure the path or internet address is correct.".
I have given 'Everyone' to read and execute rights on shared folder (used in file system).
Please guide me.

Please check whether this issue occurred on all files or a specific file from the shared folder.
1. If this issue occurred on a specific file, please check if the file exists in the shared folder, whether someone deleted it.
2. If this issue occurred on all files , please check the network and make sure the shared folder is online

How to clear the last_line_iterator for custom search result?

Hi Friends,
I have one issue regarding search result of service request please help me on this issue....
We have added some custom fields using value nodes and EEWB image field in search result of service requests....and the problem is when we click on export excel sheet button in result list for first time it is working fine data is showing in excel sheet, but after that when we done some changes in search screen and press search button for second time and press the export excel sheet...data not bound in excel sheet....
After analysis by me....after pressing the button and modify in search screen export excel sheet for second time in ME-> Last_line_iterator is not clearing it is containing previous search value for last_line_iterator.... so it is failing to call GET_ITERATOR( ) ....so anyone suggest who face same problem in their experience ....how to clear the Last_line_iterator ...let me know if any information required .....pls it is very urgent .....

Everytime user clicks on a new shop, create a session variable and set it to any value.
userSessionData.setAttribute("NEWSHOP","true");
Now go to history.jsp and just above this piece of code put a validation for the value of this session variable and
if its value matches to "true" than only let the below code to execute.After the validation dont forget to remove this
variable from session.

BADI name for filling search result CRMST_HEADER_OBJECT_BUIL

I need to enhance search result for any component "BP_ACC_SEARCH_E" . I have identified view as BuPaSR and context node SEARCHTABLE .
I have also identified the corresponding structure(CRMST_HEADER_OBJECT_BUIL) and even appended this structure to enhance search result .
But was not able to iidentify the corresponding BADI which needs to be iplemented for extra field added by me for filling this structure .
Please guide me for the BADI name which is responsible for filling this structure .

You could have used EEWB to enhance this structure as it is part of BP Business Object.
But anyhow, pass the value to be shown on the screen to VALUE variable in the GET method.

I just want to block a website from opening itself when I try to open any google search results, what do I do?!?!?

Intermittently some "Marketplace.com" "net shoppers.com" website will open it's results when I try and click on any Google search result!!! arrggg!

Need to implement the badi CRM_BADI_RF_Q1O_SEARCH and assign the filter BTQACT for activity search.
You need to implement the note 1232008 to get the parameters for FM CRM_BSP_OIC_1O_SEARCH_FROM_RF.
Inside the BADI implementation use this FM CRM_BSP_OIC_1O_SEARCH_FROM_RF to get all the activities and then restrict it.

What character splits search terms (for different search result tabs), searching from the search box.

When we type in a search term, in the search box, the results can be shown in a tab. But how can you split search terms while entering them all at once, each search term providing results in a new tab.
"Search Term|Search Term Two", using |;\ etc only sends the term in entirety beyond. What does this box handle and how to make it open two tabs when given two separated search terms.
So what is this special character or setting?

The solution u provided looks complete except that i am confused by the meaning of strField , may i didnt provide more details in my post .
The strField var i provided earlier was not meant to be placed in my code , the correct one is shown below .However , the strField means according to me is the field against which the search operation should take place based on the ( search Term )
the user provided .

Search results incorrect

When I generate the webpages in Robohelp HTML, I click on the
Search function and type in words and part words. eg.
administration returns 8 topics
admini returns 0 topics
However, some part words do work
numb return 20 topics
numbe return 20 topics
number return 20 topics
Other problems are
search for "adde" returns and if finds words with "ad" and
"adde"
and other searches don't even contain the search word but
return topics.
I have tried renaming my <<project>>.chm and
<project>.cpd files to <project>.cpd_bak and
<project>.chm_bak
Any ideas?

No, it's not because there is no index. I'm just saying it
doesn't sometimes behave as we hope. I'm saying that a nice Index
is *THE* way to go if you want your users to be happy and find what
they are looking for easily. You have to think like the user
thinks. (Or anticipate how they will think)
What will they possibly want to type into the Index to find
specific topics?
With an Index, you can provide a very narrow focus. With
search, it's anybody's game. Consider the following. Maybe you have
a help file for a grocery store. Perhaps you have a topic about
Lemons. Another about Oranges. One about Grapefruits and one about
Limes. For some reason, never in all the topics is the word
"Citrus" mentioned. But you could index the term "Citrus" and link
it to those four topics. Then if the user types "Citrus" into the
index, they will find relevant information. If they used search,
they would never find the topics unless you specifically added the
word Citrus into the topic text.
Or think of things this way. Maybe you are creating a help
file for an Auto Parts store. You have no index and only provide
search. The user wants information about Spark Plugs. But typing
the word "Spark" would return many different topics.
* Distributor Caps (Provide the spark for ignition)
* Coils (Provide the spark for the distributor)
* Warning (Be careful about causing a spark near gasoline)
* Another warning (Be careful about causing a spark near a
discharged battery)
* Spark Plug Wires
* Another warning (Be sure to disconnect the battery to avoid
a spark that will disable the computer)
* Spark Plugs
So it's possible that the user would have to wade through
several non-relevant topics and waste time looking for what they
are actually interested in.
Search builds an index that points to all terms found inside
the foundation .HTM files that are your topics in RoboHelp.
