BC Set or Not!

In our project, we are venturing about the possibilities of using BC set for the configuration. Before we take a call on this about using or not, we need to clarify one thing. We heard for a single instance rollout (and which will remain like that for future roll out(s)) there might not be any value to create a BC set to get the necessary ROI. But considering this is a global roll out, what the experts recommends?
  SAP terms it in its best practice, but does it applicable also for the single instances like this.
  Can we also get some views from successful rollouts where they didn’t use BC set and why it was not necessary for them?

Hi Arplan, tell me comment about my experiance using Bc Sets.
All depends about how many experiance do you have to create or use the global bc sets. thats means if you know what kind of configurations needs to put into the bc sets or create a bc set with variable fields or fixed fields.
you need to know for a roll out project what configurations its similar for this roll out and the information that you need to use as variable. and all of this depends how many time you have to create and detefine the objects.
From my point of view if you have many experience using the bc sets its a wonderfull tool to use, but if you team dont have experiance (dont for crate the bc set) as the solution archites for define the scope this kind of project could be a nigthmare by this less experiance.
