BC-SET /VIRSA/FFTAB_52 warnings in activition simulation

Hello,
I encounter these warnings when simulating activition in SCPR20 for BC-SET /VIRSA/FFTAB_52:
1. "Table/view USR10 : Field 'AUTHS ' with length >255 chars is not supported"
2. "Table/view USR12 : Field 'VALS ' with length >255 chars is not supported"
Both fields (USR10-AUTHS and USR12-VALS) are 3750 characters long, how can 255 char not be supported?
Is it the SCPR20 transaction that has the problem or is it the BC-SET itself?

I've received no real answer to this, not even SAP themselves came up with anything.
However, I am at this point fairly certain that the warning was mearly pointing out that fields longer 255 char couldn't be displayed on the screen in SCPR20.
- The reason is that the activition worked, just ingnored the warnings.

Hi there,
You can set the number of attempts on interactive objects generated during Software simlution recording.
Pror to recording you can go to edit > Preferences > Recording > Modes, select the mode and set the attempts.
After recording if you would like to change the attepmts in that simulation, then you can select that click box or Text entry box, go to the properties panel, anc can change the attempts.
If you would like to set the attempts for the whole Quiz itself, then go to Quiz > Quiz Preferences > Pass and fail and can edit the attempts for the Quiz level.

FF: Unable to view Reports in Virsa Toolbox.

HI All,
I am using FireFighter Version 5.2 SP5 Patch 1 and facing issues in the Firefighter Tool box. Also, I have VIRSANH add-on release 520_700 with Level 010 in the backend.
When i enter transaction "/n/virsa/vfat" and click on the Virsa Toolbox button, i am not able to see the standard reports on the screen. The tree structure shown just has the text - "Node text not found" displayed.
Would wish if any one could give a clue how to resolve the same.

Hi,
You have to activate the BC set /VIRSA/FFTAB_52 via transaction SCPR20.
This would have to be done in your dev client and then transported to the various clients in the landscape.
This is mentioned in the Fire Fighter 5.2 ABAP Component Installation documentation.

Integration of work flow and activities within TMS while setting up CHaRM

While setting up CHaRM,
After the TMS being setup, activating CTS in project and while in edit maintenance cycle.
How do we set for the status to activities, eg: 'Approve to Production' status in CHaRM workflow with the corresponding approval procedure&import to production?

Hi.
I do not really understand your requirement.
You did create a SMI project, activated ChaRM for that project and created a maintenance cycle and task list.
After the maintenance cycle has been activated you need to unlock the tasks/groups.
Now start creating change documents which contain the workflow (for instance "normal corrections" of type SDMJ). You do this either manually or via a change request.
Import into production is possible in phase "GoLive" only.

Looking for the block CD Generate Time Profiles for MPC simulation.vi

Hello everyone!!! I am trying to implement MPC in LabVIEW. I have downloaded certain codes which shows the implementation. My question is in those codes i see a block named as CD Generate Time Profiles for MPC simulation.vi. I tried finding a lot for that block but i could not... Can anyone help me out with the problem (exactly under which section will i get that block) or can anyone tell me how do i give the set point profile for the MPC simulation problem???

Help setting up my first MDB JMS in websphere studio

Hello gurus,
In my servlet I have set the connection factory name to "jms/QCF" and queue to "jms/Q".
* Under JMS tab I set the JMS Provider to MQ Simulator for Java Developers.
* I set JMS Connection Factories name to jms/QCF and jndi value to jms/QCF.
* Under JMS Destinations I set the Queue name to Q and jndi name to jms/Q
* Under JMS Server Properties I added a queue Q since I set the Queue name to Q above.
I send the message using QueueSender but the MDB is not receiving it..
In my MDB I just have a print statement in the onMessage method but its not being fired..
What am I doing wrong?
Please help.

Only MainView is localized on iPhone Simulator

Hello together,
I have made up an App on iPhone Simulator, it uses the navigation tamplate and has 5 Views: MainView, RootView, and 3 detail Views. I have added localisation as usual, using Localizable.strings and making localized .xibs. So the App has now two languages. I set the language on the iPhone Simulator to German (the second Language), the system is in German (e.g. carrier). But the App Is only partly, that means, only the standart words (like delete in a TableView I have no Influence on) and the "Bar Button Item - Main" in the MainView. But this is not enough. I changed a word on a button in a English .xib, I saw the change in Interface Builder, but not on the simulator. I move the buttons around. Nothing on the simulator. I tried everything, I reseted the simulator, restarted it, but it did not help, the simulator keeps the old version. So I´m really confused, and think it´s a problem of the simulator, but I have no idea what it might be. Has anyone an advice?

Delete the app from the simulator, clean the build in Xcode and try again....better yet, test on a device.

Criteria set for survey determination in Complaints

Hi,
Is there anyway to customize the criteria set for survey determination in complaints?
The field is in IMG activity > CRM > Transaction > Settings for Complaints > Questionnaire for Complaints > Define Determination for Questionnaires. But I can't find no IMG activity to set this criteria field for complaints.
Any ideas?

CRM Survey: Criteria Set ID
In this field, you can narrow down the determination criteria for the determination rule further. For example, you can specifiy a particular system status which the transaction must have. The determination criteria you define depends on the transaction you are working in: the determination criteria for activities is different than that for opportunities or leads. You define the further determination criteria in another Customizing activity, depending on your application.
I guess criteria sets are not available for complaint questionnaires but only for activities. You may try maintaining the criteria set settings under settings for activities and see if it reflects. Not sure though

Observation when Using Alerts for Scheduled Activites

Has anyone noticed this? A user has set the "Send Alert for Activities Scheduled for Today" option. She noticed that some of the activites in her alert were not created nor sent to her. However, we did find that they were follow-up activites to ones that she had sent out previously.
I conclude that the alert gathers activites that were not only created by or assigned to the user, but also keeps them in the loop for activity threads they may have been a part of. Is this true?
This is the first instance anyone has noticed this occurance.

I am not sure what localization has this option as yours. From the title "Send Alert for Activities Scheduled for Today", it should not imply this alert shall only apply to current user though.

Why did I get a "You Have Missed a Print" message with The Lorax Daily Print Activities?

You will miss a scheduled print if your computer is turned off or not connected to the Internet, or if you are logged out. When you see the “You have missed a print” message, you can click Print to print now, or Skip.
You can set The Lorax Daily Print Activities to automatically do the same thing every time you miss a print.
Open The Lorax Daily Print Activities.
Click the wrench icon () to open the Settings dialog.
If you want missed items to print immediately when you log in, select Automatically. If you want to be asked before an item is printed, select When Prompted. If you always want to skip missed items, select Never.
Click Save in the Settings dialog to save your changes.

Can The Lorax Daily Print Activities be used on a MAC?

IMG activities missing

Our FSCD development environment is missing IMG activities and we are
not sure why.
Example 1: Under SAP IMG > Financial Accounting (New) > Contract
Accounts Receivable and Payable > Organization Units, the u201CAssign
Company Codes to Company Code Groupsu201D and "Define company code groups"
activities are missing.
Example 2: Under SAP IMG > SAP Insurance > Collections/Disbursements >
Integration > "Financial Supply Chain Management" and "Business
Intelligence" are missing.
We have recently activated the Accenture BPS for C&D in our ECC 6.0
FSCD development environment, following the guide provided by
Accenture. We are unsure if the IMG activities were supposed to appear
as a part of that activation, or if they were already supposed to be in
the system. Our sandbox, which has all of the same components and
release levels and has also undergone this activation, is not missing
these IMG activities.
I have done some troubleshooting and have verified the following:
- dev has all of the components found in sandbox, with the same release
levels (two exceptions: sandbox system had a higher release version for
PI_BASIS, dev has a higher release of ST-PI. We upgraded PI-BASIS after
the activation but it did not make the IMG activities appear)
- dev and sandbox have all of the business functions activated
- dev has all of the same bc sets activated, with identical log results
to the sandbox
- in scpr3, the bc sets are displayed when I click the button to load
incomplete bc sets. In sandbox, there are no incomplete bc sets.
- when using the IMG view in SCPR3, the bc sets in dev only highlight
activities that exist in the dev IMG. when viewing the same bc set in
sandbox, you can see many more IMG activities are touched (the ones
that are missing in dev).
- both systems have all the BPS transports, except that in dev the
namespace and workbenchrequest have been imported into 200 instead of
100 (we did our activation in 100). These seem like client-independent
changes and so not the cause of the problem
- the import of the BCSETs transport into dev 100 has RC=16, although
in detailed view all of the activities seem to have been successfully
completed.

Check with SAP if any note requires to be applied. Also check with Basis team and ensure that all relevant components are active.

SAP Note 976073 Virsa RTA 5.1 for BASOS 700

Hi all,
Can someone please go through the SAP note 976073 and explain the purpose of activating BC sets ( /VIRSA-CCAUTH_51,/CCCONFIG_51,/CCTAB_51,/RT_51)for compliance calibrator in transaction code SCPR20.
I observed it has something to do with USOBX_C and USOBT_C tables for profile generator but wondering what CC installation and configuration has to do with profile generator.

CC uses the USOBT tables to determine what Auth Objects (permissions) that a Tcode (action) uses.

How to close CRM-Activities via Mass Maint,

I want to 'close' about 1000 activities in our development environment. Is there a Mass Maint. (like in R/3 tcode MASS) exists in CRM. What is the best way to close (set status to close) these activities?

Unless I'm missing it in your post, I do not see that you have also installed, to the PC, the required software?

You must do so in order for the necessary drivers to be installed to the PC, so that it can communicate with the BB via USB. This also should enable USB charging from the PC.

BP_BPBT. Planned activities

Account overview. Planned activities.
I saw that component BP_BPBT view AccountActivities is not working properly.
view AccountActivities get all activities (with the status completed )
Is it right? I think this view have to show only planned activities (with status open and correctly dates)

Yes, your point is correct but the question is if you are speaking of user status or system status. System status must be set to FINI to see activities under completed block.

Flash CS6 + iPad Simulator

Hello
I'm building an iPad project with Flash CS6 + Air 3.4 for iOS
In the "Air for iOS Settings" box I've set the path to the iOS Simulator as:
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneSimulator.platform/Developer/SD Ks/iPhoneSimulator6.0.sdk
The app is published for iPad only in the 'Device' dropdown.
When I debug the app using the iOS simulator it brings up the iPhone simulator instead of the iPad one.
I'm guessing the problem is...
1. I need to do a special download from Apple to install the iPad simulator
2. There is a bug in CS6 that launches the iPhone sim even though it's an iPad app
3. Some setting I'm forgetting about

Yes, that one. The simulator has a menu where you can change the device you're simulating. It doesn't know what Flash wants, and it will remember the setting next time. So, set that to iPad.
