Bc4j jars download location

Can anyone tell me where to download the bc4j jar files? I downloaded the JDeveloper 10.1.3 but the bc4j jars were not included.
Thanks,
Steve

JDeveloper 10.1.3 does not support ADF/BC4J. JDeveloper 10.1.2 does.

  • Externalising BC4J Configuration/Reusing BC4J jars

    Hi,
This is a bit of a novice question. Is it possible to externalise the BC4J configuration file containing the datasource definitions etc. ?
I am interested in doing this for a number of reasons.
    1. I would like to see if it is possible to use Ant/Maven filtering to automatically replace the JNDI definition used for the datasource based on the environment that I am building for.
    2. Our team has packaged some of the reusable BC4J components that have been developed as JAR files. When you try to use the JAR files in other projects, it becomes necessary to ensure that the same JNDI definition is used for the datasource. For example, if the original JAR library had a BC4J configuration of jdbc/TestDS, it causes problems trying to use the library in an application the needs to access jdbc/DevDS.
    3. The older libraries developed using JDeveloper 10.1.2. For some reason the location and EJB location JNDI strings in our JDeveloper 10.1.2 environments were defined to be the same. This made things easy to configure a single configuration that could be used in dev, test and prod without changing the JNDI settings. However, with JDeveloper 10.1.3.x on, the location JDNI and EJB location JNDI references need to be unique. It would probably also be a good idea to have the references unique for dev, test and prod to prevent accidental deployment and testing in the wrong environment, e.g. jdbc/DevDS, jdbc/TestDS and jdbc/ProdDS.
Any pointers related to this query would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Graeme.

Thank you both for the answers.
I have used a similar approach for Eclipse projects that were not ADF related. Refering back to #2, we do not actually nest the projects for the JARS via project properties > dependencies. We are actually packaging the JARS and placing them in a repository. The JARS are then added to the dependent projects as a normal library. However, they already contain their own bc4j.xfg with associated JNDI datasource etc., thus causing problems as these configs are not automatically overwritten.
Phrased another way, is there a way to tell an ADF Application module that it needs to make use of the bc4j.xfg file located in say, ./config/. The JAR could then be packaged without the bc4j.xfg file and be reused in projects as a normal library. The developer reusing the JAR would then be able to control the config simply by providing the file in ./config/ in their project. So if you ended up including 3 JARs that all contain application modules, they would all be able to reference the same bc4j.xfg file.
Being able to dynamically tell a JARed applicaiton module where its config should come from would be better.

    Graeme.

  • Need help changing the default download location in Firefox3.6.16

    <blockquote>Locking duplicate thread.<br>
    Please continue here: [/questions/808920]</blockquote><br>
I have been having default download location problem for over a year now and no one has been able to offer a solution so if you can figure this out, well, I can't say enough good about you.
Here's my problem. I'm an online math instructor for a college. I use Firefox 3.6.16, and have also tried the latest version. Os is Vista. Students email me Microsoft Word 2007 documents every day as attachments to email. I click on the documents, make corrections and when I go to save their document to my computer, the default always wants to save it in a temp file! I read where Firefox is supposed to default save in the desktop (which is where I want it to default to, but that never happens). When the save defaults to the temp file, I have to scroll up numerous files and find the desktop option and click it to save it on the desktop. This is not a huge deal until you have to do it for 90 students and then it becomes time consuming.
Numerous times I have followed the standard process of (TOOLS>OPTIONS>SAVE FILES TO DESKTOP) within Firefox but that never works. I've reinstalled Firefox, that doesn't work. I've also tried to change the "Save Options" settings within Word 2007 and that hasn't solved the problem either. Please advise if you have a solution. Thanks in advance!

  • After I have migrated a 'master' profile into another, the browse button (for a download location) in Options, General doesn't work anymore. How can I fix this?

    Hi Supporters,
I've been struggling with this some time (downloading / saving problems) and tried all kinds of variations. But I'll keep it simple for now.
As a test .. I've just created a fresh firefox profile. Checked out if could change the download location, through the Browse button, and indeed that worked. I got an explorer dialog to choose a folder.
Normally I would do the options, manage the search engines, do some layout stuff etc etc in order to get some 'baseline / master' profile I can evolve further into other more extended profiles. So you see this master profile will get copied into another one.
But, having copied that fresh profile (having done nothing yet) into another seems to disable choosing another download folder. The Browse button in Options > General does not work anymore.
There's more. If I browse to, say, C:\ as default download location but then enable 'ask me where to save ..' in the fresh profile and then copy this profile to another one .. if I then want to change the download location (which shows C:) it jumps to Desktop and again the Browse button won't work.
This is driving me mad. Any ideas? Sorry for the long story, hope it helps.

    Hi guys,
@cor-el: getting rid of not needed parts is what I always do. Besides prefs and localstore, only the search-metadata and permissions / signons are passed along. Oh, forgot to mention the mimetypes.
No, my point is why is FF looking for those folders when there's no mentioning of these to be found in my options? Not even in de about:config ... When I state C:\ as my downloads location it's absurd to check any other folder first, which FF seems to do before giving me an explorer window showing .. C:\ as a starting point. Like my unrestricted laptop does.
@jscher2000: Even if there are pointers to those default folders, FF should not be checking those. When I state C: I mean C: (see my answer above).
No, I'm convinced this is a bug unless someone knows a way to stop that folder checking. And to be honest, the not working Browse button is the least of my problems (I use: ask everytime where). No it's the saving that is the problem. But I guess the underlying problem is the same. Saving / downloading, what's in a name ..
Guys, thanks for your help ! I can't fix a bug so I'm going to let it be. I'll rebuild my master and will keep checking of saving a website becomes a problem somewhere. Mind you, the solutions offered in kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files didn't work.
Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

  • In PI 7.1 - Java UDF's Compiled Class files - Jar File location

    Hi All,
In PI 7.1 Does anybody know where the compiled Java UDF's (which are used in Graphical mapping) class files stored in jar are located in integration server? I want to use this jar file in my XSLT mapping.

    Hi,
I guess it would be under
    \usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\temp\classpath_resolver
    or
    \usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\.\temp\classpath_resolver
Where SID is your XI instance name.

  • I can't change Download Location, or Save pages/images..."Browse" dialog will not show.

If I go into Options, and click "Browse" to change the Download location, nothing happens. I have used Firefox for many years and have never had this problem. I just did a clean install of Win7 (wiped entire HDD), and the problem started when I installed Firefox this time.
I can also NOT "Save Page..." or "Save Image As..."....basically anything that requires a Browse dialog window does not work, it just stalls and nothing happens.
I read another report of this, and the only solution that was given was to Reset Firefox. I did that, to no effect. I also saw something about migrating profiles, etc....I did not import anything into Firefox when I installed, nor do I have more than one user account in Windows. It's a really odd problem, but unfortunately I can't use Firefox if I can't save things. I've tried browse dialogs in other applications and I have no problems there.
Thanks for any assistance! Just to re-iterate, this is a completely clean install of Firefox and Win7...I even tried uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox before posting here.

    I hope this helps-
Go to the option menu and under the General tab, chose "ask me where to save files" and then restart Firefox in safe mode.
If this doesn't work, check for updates.

  • Jar download not working over dial up

    Hey,
Our webstart application works just fine while connected to the lan at work. The various jars required by the application are downloaded without any problems.
However, when I try to access the same application over dial up (I have tried netzero and aol), the jar download fails in a rather weird fashion.

Does anyone have any ideas ?
    Any help is greatly appreciated

    pboeykens,
It may definitely be something with my network and/or firewall configuration. I'm just not sure where to look yet.
I have tried modifying apache settings to no avail.
I've tried turning KeepAlives off, changing the keep alive timeout and the max number of keep alives allowed on apache, but none of these setting changes had any effect on the jar download.
If you have any suggestions for what I might look at as far as my firewall settings, then I can take that to my security department.
My next step is to try and enable the debug logging with webstart to maybe get a better idea of why it thinks that no jar is available.
    Thanks

  • Safari's download-location selector too big for screen?

Any one else got this one?
When I try to select the "Other" download location in Safari preferences, the resulting pulldown dialog for selecting the location is so huge it spans off the right side and below the bottom of the screen, so I can't drag-resize it, or even click "choose" or "cancel".
Yes, I can just press Esc, or double click on the folder I want, but still this is a bizarre bug which should be easy to fix.
    Safari 3.1.1

Does not happen for me in Safari 3.1.1. But, to correct your issue try this: open Safari Preferences > General tab and select download location: Other. With the (too-large) dialog box open, press the option key and select Window menu > Arrange in Front. That should bring the resize handle into view at the bottom right, and you can shrink the dialog box down (and that smaller size should be preserved).
If that fails, again with the too-large dialog box open, select System Preferences > Displays and set the resolution to something very small (e.g. 640x480), then after the switch, immediately change it back to your native resolution - that should shrink the dialog box back down to a reasonable size.
    Hope this helps...

  • AIA 11.1.1.4 FP download location

I want to download the 11.1.1.4 version of AIA FP but since 11.1.1.5 has been release the Oracle.com location has only the new version now.
On eDelivery I can find only 11.1.1.2 version.
Anyone know a download location where I can fine 11.1.1.4 FP?

You can still get it from e-delivery:
Select Product Pack 'Oracle Applicatiion Integration Architecture' and then the 3.1 release ('Oracle Application Integration Architecture Release 3.1 Media Pack'). There you will see the Foundation Pack 11.1.1.4 package.
