Bcc names do not appear on my "sent" copy, just blank

I volunteer for a non-profit group. Periodically I send email announcements of an event for the non-profit. I've got about 300 names in my Contacts (aka Address Book before I got LION). I've broken the 300 names into alphabetical sub-groups. For each email, I type the sub-group name in the Bcc field, and the names/addresses of the appropriate people appear. Then I send the email.
I go to my Sent email box and open one of the emails I sent to a Bcc list, and most of the time there are NO recipients mentioned. There's To: and a date, and that's it for the heading. This is really bad. The benefit of Bcc is that each person in the group receiving the email sees it addressed to him/her and doesn't see the names/addresses of any other recipients. So Bcc is kind to recipients. Meanwhile, it should show me, the sender, a complete list of the Bcc names so I can confirm the names to whom I've sent the message.
This all seems pretty basic, and it worked fine in Leopard and Panther. Lion is new to me (two weeks ago), and it seems a lot of regular Mac OS features are broken or unreliable.
I'm currently shopping for an alternative program to Apple Mail. Postbox 3? The Microsoft mailer application (Outlook? Something with "Out" in the name)?
I went to the Apple store for a one-to-one about this flaw, and they could not solve my problem. The tutor asked the Genius people for help, and they couldn't solve the problem. I want to send mail "blind" to recipients who do not get to see other names from the Bcc group. At the same time, I want to see the actual names/addresses so I can confirm that all my contacts have seen the message. Why has Lion killed this feature?

I stumbled on a solution to this problem, which was driving me crazy for the same reasons you mentioned. I have no idea why this works, but it does:
1) Open the message in your "Sent" folder.
2) Click the "Forward" icon.
3) The forwarded version of the message will show the full Bcc list.
I think this is a bug that somehow manages to fix the other bug.

If you're using iPhoto as your email client a sent version is not created. You need to BCC yourself in order to get a copy.
The better solution is to use Mail as your email client in conjunction with Gmail. This will give you a sent copy, better access to your contacts and, if so desired, photo templates to use via Mail's stationary feature.

Quit Mail.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click the text on the line below to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope Index
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A Finder window will open with a file selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have names that begin with "Envelope Index". Move those files, if any, to the Trash. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is corrupt and that Mail has to quit. Click OK.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the file you moved to the Desktop. If you get a warning that the file is in use when you try to empty the Trash, log out and log back in.

The reason it will not be in the sent folder is, it failed to send.
If it failed to send, then you will see the Outbox icon. 'Pending' would be a more descriptive name.
When it eventually sends, the Outbox will not show in the Mail app interface.
Until it is sent it will stay stuck in the Outbox.
If it refuses to send, you can manually delete it in Finder, at the location ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/Outbox.mbox
Close Mail first, before you search for that email using the Finder.

I have this identical problem. For a while my group texts didnt show up on my ipad. Then one day they did, maybe everyone in the group started using the same os version or something. Ever since my first reply to the group there have been complaints of multiple threads. I can not find a pattern for when my group text's decide they want to create a new thread. (it doesnt happen every time) Everyone in the group has deleted the thread, we've all toggled imessage on/off etc. There still hasn't been a solution.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have Implemented N step Badi for our client .During Post Go Live we are facing this issue
We have created a shopping basket and there are 3 approvers to approve. After the first approvers is approved the name is not appearing in the Shopping basket.

Glad it's working for you but it's still not for me. I was sending emails fine today and they went to sent box then all of a sudden they aren't there. Does anyone know what is the problem and a simple solution?

Contact name does not appear after upgrading to iOS 5

I recently upgraded to iOS 5 and after doing so, contact name does not appear when someone calls; but text messages the name appears. I have saved all my contacts under +9 format.

This indicates that the phone was carrier locked and had been 'hacked' to unlock it. Updating the phone has re-locked it to the original carrier.
ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Not all do so. Contact the carrier and find out what their policy is.
If it's locked to AT&T, you may as well sell it and buy a new phone. AT&T will not unlock iPhones for any reason.

CDs loaded, Artist name does not appear in ARTISTS list

Among all the CDs I've loaded and songs purchased, I have 2 Carly Simon
CDs on my video iPod. However, Carly Simon's name does not appear in my
list of ARTISTS in the Music Menu.
I did a sync with my iTunes list and the songs are indeed loaded.
Why is her name missing from the list and how do I get it back?

In my SETTINGS I had compilations turned on.
When I switched it off, Carly Simon was back in my
