Bcc Recipient List unavailable after sending

When I send an email with numerous Bcc recipients a copy of the email is posted in my Sent Folder. If I open it from the Sent Folder I can see, copy and paste the list of recipents. However, if i move the email from Sent to a Mailbox I have set up suddenly I cannot see the list of recipients and it just says 'Undisclosed recipients:'. Why is this happening? Can I rectify it?
And maybe related to this . . . .
quite often I send an email and it goes yet they are still sitting in my Draft folder?

AFAIK there is no way to guarantee hiding of any mail
headers in SMTP mail. Your best bet will be to read the
RFC for SMTP, I can't remember which that is... your
closest RFC mirror should have it.
Alternatively, why not send the mails in a loop? Rather
than construct the To: field by catenating Strings
(presumably), loop through the email addresses and send
each individually.
I'm not sure if this will have a performance impact or
not, you might like to experiment.
Again IIRC the biggest hit sending an email is in the
mail server performing its DNS lookups on the To: addresses
and since the mail send is synchronous from Java... I'm
wondering if 5 separate mails will resolve slower or the
same speed as 5 simultaneous resolutions. Just for example.
Still, it's something to try :>

I do not want BCC names listed when I send an email.

Bcc: means BLIND Carbon Copy. These Addressees will receive a copy of the email, but other recipients will not see their names.
Try sending the email to your own Address to see exactly what it will look like.
If it is not satisfactory, you may have to BBC to a LIST.

Same problem here with and I've done everything shy of a total reset which I also find unacceptable. This problem exists on all iMessage platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) so I don't see how restoring my iPhone would help the problem.

  • When I enter a group name into the Bcc field and try to send the message, I get "[group name] is not a valid e-mail address..."

Been using the same template to send a weekly newsletter for a year or two but now with a recent update to Thunderbird the group name is rejected when I try to send the message:
With a group name in Bcc field, when I press "Send" and try to send the message, I get this alert: "[group name] is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail."

This has been reported as [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1060901 Bug #1060901]. If you have an account on Bugzilla, please consider voting for that issue.
Several other people have sent in the same support request as you, noting this happened after they upgraded to version 31.1.
The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail.
'''This happens in Thunderbird 31.1.0 when your mailing list description includes several words separated by spaces.'''
Although not ideal, these workarounds should let you use your mailing lists until a proper fix is implemented:
    * While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
    * Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).
    * Downgrade to a previous version and disable automatic updates (Windows)

  • After sending email

    Hello All,
I am able to send email to a number of recipients through JavaMail API.But what i really want to do is ,after sending email to a bunch of recipients,a particular recipient should View only his Address in his "TO" address not the list of recipients to whom the email was sent....
For Example......i have send a email to the following recipients......[email protected],[email protected],[email protected].....
Now when the First Recipient receives the mail he should be able to view only his Email Address in his "TO" Address........Similarly the Second Recipient should be able to see only his email address in his TO address........and so on.....
Can any body shed light on this Issue..Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks a Millon in advance

  • Recipient List Along with distribution

    Dear Experts,
Is there any possible way i can send recipient list along with distribution. As i am distributing Engineering docs through distribution to client. It is INT type distribution client wants to know the recipients of this distribution as well. can this scenario be implemented or not.
    Thanks
    KD

    Hi,
Function module that is called by customer exit CVDI0002 after the data for recipient list screen (screen 100, program SAPLCVV1 ) has been read.
Depending on the function (i_function) called, documents, recipients, or general data is determined. You can change this data in the include program. The modified data is then displayed on screen 100 (program SAPLCVV1 ).
If you change recipient data, for example, the changes must also be made in the following tables:
    Table T_DRZA (document recipient relation)
Table T_REC (to display the change in the table control)
For more details on this refer link below

Small tweaking in the customer exit can help in achieving your requirement.
    Hope this helps.

  • Send mail to distribution list using UTL_MAIL.SEND

    Oracle 10.2.0.4.0
Does UTL_MAIL.SEND support sending mail to a distribution list?. The doc says, the recipient mail-id should be separated by a comma. The distribution list has mail-id separated by a comma. I executed a test case sending a mail to a distribution list, I did not receive any error or exception. I did not receive the test mail as well!!.
Has anyone used the UTL_MAIL.SEND to send mails to a distribution list?.
    Thanks

Has anyone used the UTL_MAIL.SEND to send mails to a distribution list?.Oracle RDBMS does not know or care is email address is single recipient or list.
It sends message to name provided.
It is up to MTA to deliver any message it gets.
Are you 100% certain that message got to MTA & was successfully processed by it?

  • Problem with "subject" & "recipient list" of reporting agent

    Hi,
I've created an exception in a query & assigned "E-mail notification" for this exception in reporting agent. I entered "Subject" field and assigned "distribution list" to "Recipient list" field in the e-mail notification attributes.
After transporting, reporting agent & package, everything moved fine but subject & recipient fields are not carried over to Quality system. both the fields are blank.
    What is the problem?
How do I make sure that these 2 fields are also transported to Quality & Production rather than manually maintaining them again in the target system.
    Appreciate any help.

  • BCS Using a Recipient list

    Hello,
I use the BCS Interface to send a mail to SAPOffice and external recipients ... .. While doing this with the API functions it was possible to set a predefined SAPOffice recipient list.

i want it to direct to a 'thanks for your email page in the mobile site i'm building, however you get the page unavailable message. all links seem to be OK, it's a very simple site.

  • Find BCC recipient in incoming email

Is there possible to find BCC recipient in incoming email?
when user receive email is there any BCC recipient included or not ? how to find it.
is there any software or any process for that?
or can we trace that email which send or received from user / to user ?
powershell commands for trace the email and find BCC addresses in email which it include.

    Hi,
There is no way to find from Client level, as an administrator you may run message trace using Message ID & Export the report into Excel, Once it is done copy the actual TO & CC address.
Except the Duplcate items rest all address to BCC's
Scripting can be done, If this makes more manual work you may approach Powershell forum.

  • Recipient List in Reporting agent Disappearing

    Hi,
We are in BW 3.5 SP5. I created a Reporting agent alert and wanted to send E-mail to the Recipients. The Recipient list is disappearing. It is not keeping the List.
Have any one experienced the same problem?
    Thanks,
    Trinadha

    Dear Rasim,
thanks for your reply. I've already had a look at page you suggest and it sounds quite confusing to me.
In "Recipient Type Recipient List" paragraph I read that one can send messagge to internet address or sap logon name and 'When using the SAP Business Workplace, additional recipient types are available'. So it seems one cannot use share distribution list for sending mail (even thought we can't send SAP Office messagge from reporting agent using it).
    Is that right?
In "Recipient Type Role" paragraph it seems possible to send message using role as to identify Users; but what kind of message is it talking about? I can olny send Sap Office messagge, not mail.
    Had you experienced it?
    bye. Laura

  • Mail autocomplete still brings up deleted "previous recipient" list addresses

Even after I delete old and incorrect emails from the "previous recipient" list, those incorrect emails still autocomplete when I compose a new Mail Message.  How do I get rid of those addresses?

    Try:
Delete an Email Address from Auto-Complete in Mac OS X Mail
To remove an email address from the auto-complete list in Mac OS X Mail:
Start typing the recipient's address or name in a new message.
Select the desired address from the auto-complete list as if you'd compose an email to them.
Click the small down arrow in the recipient.
Select Remove from Previous Recipients List from the menu.
