BCC: unable to merge assets

Hi,
I've created a project containing about 70.000 assets. In BCC, if I try to click on "Approve & Deploy to production", an alert shows me that I have to merge some assets. Now, if I try to open the project's assets tab on BCC it never shows the assets...it seems that the page loading goes in timeout. No logs when page loading stops...
How can I merge the assets?
P.S. I'm using ATG 10.1 on weblogic 10.3.6

Thanks to Oracle support I solved the issue: I used marchandising to merge assets.

The Acrobat 9.x product family passed into End of Support mid-year of 2013.
The product isn't compatible with contemporary OSs or Office suite.
You may have to step up into the Acrobat XI product family.

Unable to merge events in iPhoto

I am unable to merge two events in iPhoto 9.4.2. When I select two events to merge and then go to the Event menu there is no "merge" option, not even a greyed out one. When I try to drag one event on top of the other I can't. Help menu says either of those approaches would work. I see similar questions to this on the Discussion Forum, but none seem to resolved.

Give this basic troubleshooting fix a try:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

Unable to merge two partitions

I have my Macintosh HD partition, and a bunch of GB of free space, also partitioned. I am unable to merge the two together, there seems to be no drop down arrows to have them combine. Also, I cannot reformat the free space, so all I am left with is 350GB of free space and 350 GB of Macintosh HD. Does anyone know how I could possible merge the two together again?

If the Macintosh HD partition is above the free space, drag the slider between them as far down as it will go and click Apply.
If the Macintosh HD partition is below the free space, create a new partition in the free space, clone the contents of Macintosh HD to it, restart from the newly-created partition, delete Macintosh HD, and then proceed as above.

Merge Asset with PO details.

Hi Friends,
                I'm trying to merge the Asset details with PO, Like is there any transaction on R3 where a particular PO has Asset # attatched to it (OR) the other way, and Asset # attatched wit PO??
I checked the base tables for PO: EKKO , EKPO, EKBE.. and also for Assets: ANLA. ANLB, ANLC..but couldnt find any link, other than the PO date.
If any one has any suggestions please advice,
Basic Requirement: If there is any asset Posted, then how do I get the PO attatched to it??

Unable to Merge Partition

Dear Apple Community,
I am having issues merging the partition on my Macbook Pro.
I created a separate partition of 50GB to install and test OS X Yosemite Beta (Macintosh HD 2).
After playing around with it, I decided to remove the partition created.
Now, I would like to regain the 50GB that I used to partition for Yosemite - note the empty grey space between Macintosh HD and Bootcamp.
From my understanding, I should be able to just drag the bottom corner of the partition lay out in order to regain the 50GB that was set aside.
However, after I click apply, nothing happens and it reverts back to:
I've also tried doing by via the Recovery HD (rebooting and holding down alt) with no success.
Am I doing something wrong? I don't want to do a fresh install

When I boot up in recovery mode (cmd+r) I am able to load up disk utility however, I essentially go through the same process as in the first post.
From my understanding, I believe what you have said is completely correct. After attempting to resize the partition, I get prompted with a pop up display that states: "Partition failed. Partition failed with the error. Couldn't unmount disk."
Unfortunately, I don't have any boot up disks. I have only been backing up those important files onto an external HDD. If you don't mind me asking, which of the methods would you advise as being the one most likely to solve this partition issue, and least time consuming? I'm actually not too fussed about reformatting anymore.
Oh yes, I am running 10.9 and not 10.6. I noticed this afterwards but was unable to figure out how to move this thread. Apologies as this was my first time on the forum.

As per readme for Patch 9179588, I am trying to merge patch (9179588:R12.AD.B) with 9477107:R12.AD.B and R12.AD.B.1
(patch 7461070). When I run admrgpch without -admode option, admrgpch completes successfully.
However, when I just add -admode option in same command, getting error that "invalid option -s". Please see below details and suggest since there is Note: This merge should be a full merge using -admode.

Unable to merge cells in Table(WAD)

HI Gurus,
I am working on BI7.0,
I am trying to create Web Templates to display reports in portal for that
I have selected Table (rows and coloms), When I try to merge first two cells
(to write descritpion of query) it is not allowing me to merge.
Can anybody suggest me how to merge two cells in table.

If you're talking simply about merging the cells in an HTML table, then you use the COLSPAN or ROWSPAN options in HTML.
Check out the following

Take the above code and put it in a simple HTML file and run that file in your browser, you should then be able to see how COLSPAN and ROWSPAN work.
COLSPAN=2 means that the cell spans 2 columns. Similary, COLSPAN=3 would then span 3 columns.
Remember though that when you set COLSPAN=2, you will need 1 less TD in that row, otherwise you end up with an extra cell in that row which makes your table look all messy.
Now, in your template, get into the XHTML view, find the table, and set the COLSPAN / ROWSPAN accordingly.

It looks like your workflow is corrupted for some reason or may be you have didn't customize it properly.
Go to ACC and check the workflow if there are any errors in it.
Otherwise delete the workflow tables and restart the server.'

Unable to merge PDF files.

I have been running Acrobat 5 for a number of years and until recently have been able to merge and/or pages to existing PDF files with no problems; however I now get the following error statement when I try to merge or add pages to an existing file. "These documents contain subset fonts that have the same name and cannot be merged"
Does anyone know exactly what that means? And how do I over ride that error. What I have to do now, is take my original file, convert it to JPG files, then transfer it to Word and convert back to PDF. It works but is a lot of extra work. Help!!

Try67- Thanks- How do I embed full font subsets when creating files. The pdf files were created from Word and include captions for photos .
On the conversion. I convert the existing pdf files (pages of photos) to jpg and then import them to Word so I can add the new Word photo pages to them and then convert them back to PDF files. I know that sounds weird, but it works.
Previously I could just add the new pdf pages to existing pages, but not anymore. Fred
