im selcting in data flow bfore.

go to SU53 transaction and find out what authorization is missing and request for the same.

We just had a fresh Netweaver 2004s (BI7) installation and I am having problems activating 0Material in Business Content I recieve errors like
Characteristic 0CM_SHAR: Unit 0AREA_UNIT no allowed in compounding
Message no. R7B641
Attribute 0CM_CTAR from characteristic 0CM_CDT1 not (actively) available
Message no. R7322
Attribute 0CM_CDT1 from characteristic 0CM_CDT2 not (actively) available

etc
I have increased the length of 0material in OMSL, I have tried installing 0material in all the other possible installation groupings (only necessary objects, in data flow before etc.)
I have also tried the different groupings of installation (ie. data inflow before, data inflow before & after, only necessary objects etc.)
Please let me know if there is anyway you can be of help

BI7.0 BCT install error

Hi All,
I am trying to install a BI7.0 transformation. But I am receiving the below error. Can you please suggest a solution?
"You wanted to generate an object with the name '0G33PCXXMC2QXHGGVXXXXXXXXX' (in transport request TRFN) of type 'Transformation' (TLOGO). This is, however, not available in the BW Repository database. It does not exist in the requested version D".
We are have the following components.
SAP_BW 700 0018 SAPKW70018 SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0
BI_CONT 703 0010 SAPKIBIIQ0 Business Intelligence Content

The problem is with your data source replication.
Activate your data source & replication too.
Activate your transfer atructure through RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL .
If not so, Activate your transfer rule manually.

Error when scheduling an infopackage

Gurus,
when I try to schedule an infopackage, the system prompts the following error:

Error while copy of Update Rules from ODS 0SD_O03 to InfoCube 0SD_C13

Hi all,
I work on a NW04s SPS9 System I would like to simply copy Update Rules (from an ODS to an InfoCube) from the BCT to the 1:1 Z-Copies of these Objects.
To do so, I copied the InfoProviders 0SD_O03 and 0SD_C13 to Z-Versions. In SAP BCT the InfoCube is updated from the ODS. The ODS itself is updated from InfoSource.
After successfully copying the two InfoProviders as next step I tried to copy the Update Rules from the Content version Objects to the Z-Version Objects to link them.
Similar to copying update rules in 3.5 I tried
- right click on "ZSD_C13"
- choose Additional Functions - Create Update Rules"
- choose DataSource: ODS Object "ZSD_O03"
- choose Copy from: InfoCube "0SD_C13"
This result in the error "0SD_C13 is not suitable as a template for copying update rules".
Some hints that might help:
1. The very same error occurs if I try to copy the Update Rules from 0SD_O03 to 0SD_C13.
2. I also tried to copy both Update Rules (to C12 & C13) on a BW 3.5 system where it worked fine: The update rules from both Z-ODSs to both Z-Cubes were copied correctly 1:1 and without any errors.
3. In the NW04s System I was able to copy the Update Rules from the InfoSource 2LIS_11_VAITM to 0SD_O01 (as well as from 2LIS_11_VAHDR to ODS 0SD_O03). So I only cannot copy Update Rules from ODSs to InfoCubes while it is possible to copy Update Rules from InfoSources to ODSs.
4. During copy of 0SD_O03 the system warned: "InfoObject 0FISCVARNT needs to be in key for DataStore object ZSD_O03". No matter whether I move this IO to the keys of the Z-ODS, the Update Rules copy does not work.
- This warning does not show up on BW3.5 when I copy the very same ODS. Can anyone explain this?
- This warning is not displayed during the copy of ODS 0SD_O01, just for 0SD_O03.
5. Obviously during a preceding test I actually must have been able to copy the Update Rules for another copy of 0SD_C13 (as I can see the Update Rules in the SAPGUI). I stopped this first test as I was not able to do the Update Rules copy for 0SD_C12.
Yet as of today I cannot copy Update Rules this for both cubes 0SD_C13 as well as 0SD_C12. So yesterday there was no error on copying the Update Rules to InfoCube ZSD_C13, but today there is. To my knowledge nothing has been changed in the System Setup / Customizing in the mean time.
6. For both cubes ZSD_C13 as well as ZSD_C12 it is possible to copy Update Rules that map from the BCT ODS to the Z-InfoCbes. So I can copy Update Rules from 0SD_O03 to ZSD_C13 and from 0SD_O01 to ZSD_C12. This would point in the direction that the copied ODSes are the source of this behavior?
I am not sure whether this is a special NW04s behavior and how to use it correctly so the Update Rules can be copied.
Please could you help on how to copy these Update Rules in NW04s or share your experience if you had similar?

Check the update rules for the original cube. Are they active? It appears that they contain a formula...check this too.

GL Account Hierarchy upload error

I'm persistently getting the following error while uploading hierary into GL Account. 0GL_ACCOUNT_T011_HIER.
Error:
"Record 105 :InfoObject GL_ACCOUNT contains non-alpha compliant value 1000"
in the transfer rules for hierarchy datasource, i tried to activate conversion on infoobject 0HIENM but this is a technical content object and does not allow changes.
Please help...

Hi Frank,
did you check if 0HIENM is active? You can search the techincal InfoObject in
RSA1 -> MetadataRepository. If it is not there go to BI Content (RSA1) open InfoObjects and search for "0HIENM" and bring it to active version (if it is already active it will show a green light).

Error: Infoobject is not defined in the source system

(I posted this in other forums as well - but wondering, it it should be here in BCT/Extractors - I could use more help).
this is my issue:
I am trying to load master data (attr) for an infoobject.
But, it fails with the following error message (when I click on the "Error message" button on the "monitor" screen.
"Infoobject is not defined in the source system"
"Erros in source system".
(I did rsa3 and find it has some data + i checked on the base table as well, it has data; the datasource is from an SRM system) Why is it complaining like this.
any help on what could be wrong here? Pl let me know,

Do I have to install the infoobjects on the source system as well? SRM is my source system.. I am not sure on that, but If I have to, how do I do that?

Error while mapping

I have created Info object characteristic Customer(C09_CU).I have also assigned dimension for my char
Now when i am trying to assign datasource to my char(I have already defined source system as metadata file source system),and when i assign my source system, it gives an error "InfoObj. 0STARTLEVEL from fld STARTLEVEL of dataSource C09_CU_HIER is not active but BCT ex."
It says it exist in business content but i checked in BCT, its not there
Any help on this?

0STARTLEVEL :-Start-Drilldown Level in the Query Display
Also check the SAP note 772993, it will give you an idea.

i am activating BCT cube s in BI 7.0.
i am using data flow befoer option.
it gives it gives to errors for every time.
Error1 : 0SOLD_TO_ODB_ MATCDS is not availbule.

What happened?
The program "SAPLSEU2" has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime without
interruption and has therefore been terminated.
Error analysis
After a specific time, the program is terminated to make the work area
available to other users who may be waiting.
This is to prevent a work area being blocked unnecessarily long by, for
example:
- Endless loops (DO, WHILE, ...),
- Database accesses with a large result set
- Database accesses without a suitable index (full table scan)
The maximum runtime of a program is limited by the system profile
parameter "rdisp/max_wprun_time". The current setting is 600 seconds. If this
time limit is
exceeded, the system attempts to cancel any running SQL statement or
signals the ABAP processor to stop the running program. Then the system
waits another 60 seconds maximum. If the program is then still active,
the work process is restarted.

Hi PSR,
Error 1: It is appearing because the object 0SOLD_TO_ODB_ MATCDS is not avaialable in Delivered version. Just check if you need this object in your scenario. Uncheck the install checkbox for this object when you install the BI content and this error will not appear.
Error 2: This is appearing because you maximum runtime for the dialog work processor is exceeded. To avoid this select 'install in backgroud' from install menu.

Error in 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS

Hi, i am testing data source 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS via transaction code RSA3 in my SAP R/3 system and i'm getting the following error:
"Keine Initialisierung mit InfoSource 0CFM_INIT_POSITIONS und Selektion TR_ACC_CODE 0001/VALUATION_AREA 001".
The error is in German although i selected English when i logged in. Can anyone give me a hint about this error?
When i first tested this data source it was ok, so i activated all BCT in BW and ran one test load. The results were ok and i got my infocube with one record (initial load). The problem was that the content of the cube was accidentaly deleted and now i can't use this extractor anymore, not even in RSA3 in R/3 system.
Any idea what the problem may be?

With other values for TR_ACC_CODE the extraction works fine, but there are no records. All information will be saved using same TR_ACC_CODE, in this case 001.
The problem is that i can't use value 001 anymore since i ran the inital load for the cube. Before, the extraction worked fine for value 001, so i guees it must be something else.
Any other idea what can i do?

Error when reading DataTarget 0RPA_C01

I activated (simulated) InfoCube 0RPA_C01 (Store/Artikel/day) in BCT by grouping (data flow before) and got the errors:
- Error when reading data target 0RPA_C01; Message no: RSAU126
Object Update Rules AOVQMV1HXG826N2K14P5TPOYA: Installation of the Content Version; Message no. RSO425
Transfer update rules IC: 0DBDUNS_NUM / IS: 0DBDUNS_APPENDIX_ATTR_1; Message no. RSAU180
- No update specified for key figures; message no: RSAU232
do anyone knows this problem in BW Release 3.5?

Ok, it worked! Now however I have some more doubts.
1. I can't find the InfoObjects (e.g. 0D_GR_QTY, 0D_PLANT, 0D_MATERIAL, etc.) anywhere in Modeling -> InfoObjects, even if:
a) I can find them under the InfoSource tree of the SAP Demo Application Component
b) they appear activated in Business Content
What's going on?
2. The newly activated Purchasing Data cube has been added to the Unassigned Nodes InfoArea, and not to a newly created SAP Demo Purchasing (0D_MMPUR) InfoArea, similarly to the structure I saw when collecting the InfoProvider in Business Content. Is this the normal behaviour?
3. No DataSource has been assigned to any of the InfoSources. I read at:

that the SAP Demo Source System will be used. What I can't understand is if I need to manually create and select this Source System. Problem installing infosource from BCT

Hi gurus,
I installed the master data characteristic 0BBP_BIDCAT from the BCT (InfoSources by Application Component ==> SAP Application Components ==> Cross-Application Sources ==> Product ==> Master Data Product ==> Product Category (Bid Invitation)). I chose the "In data flow before" grouping and the all the process was error-free. Then, when I go to the Modeling option, in RSA1, and choose "InfoSources", the InfoSource 0BBP_BIDCAT is not presented and I cannot load this master data. Any ideas?

You can also try out with option the only neccessary infoobjects and try to install the business content and check it out.Also when you enter the modeling screen just refresh the screen and observe it.

Hierarchyt - trasport Error

Hi,
When transporting user defined hierarchy info source to producion Tranfer rules are not getting activated which is required to load hierarchy to create.
But I am able transport same to QA system sucessfully without any problem.
Error: "Tranfer structure is not active" tried all options.
Below is transport fail message.
"Mapping between data source ZLOCALID_HIER and source system A_LOCAL_PC is inconsistent
InfoObj. 0STARTLEVEL from fld STARTLEVEL of dataSource ZLOCALID_HIER is not active but BCT ex. -> Dtl"
I did not find info object 0STARTLEVEL any where in the system.
Please help me to solve this problem to move this to Production system.Very Urgent ..Thanks in advance.
