BD, do you have any information on how to use ClamXav?

BD or Kappy, Sig, do any of you mind sending me directions for proper use of ClamXav. Like settings and what the features are. I downloaded it, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to get the best out of it. Another thing, do any of you need any memory? I have two brand new Apple 512's that I have no use for and you are all welcome to them if you need them. Please let me know.

They are from a brand new MacBook. I replaced them with two 1Gb chips. They are strait from Apple, never used. If you would like them, they are yours. If I did not answer your question repost. I don't know what other specs you speak of. They are the two 512 chips that come with a black MacBook.

After I have wait for 30 minutes without do anything, the wifi interface worked.
I don't know if Apple could fix the issue on their site or the reboot of the Iphone solved the problem.
I'm installing IOS 6 on the Iphone 4 of my wife. Let's see if the behaviour is the same.

Two experiments you can try.
1. Boot in safe mode and see if you can shut down normally. All thise additions won't be running in safe mode so this test would indicate it is one of them causing the problem.
2. Uninstall all the intego VirusBarrier stuff. That's my first guess and the troublemaker.

Try holding the Capslock key with the letter you want to be capitalized. It should work.

Hi, I downloaded iOS 7 recently. Everything was fine until I checked my apps and saw that there was something to update. I tried to update it and it won't work. Also whenever I try to put in my Apple ID and password for anything (ex. iMessage, etc.) it will just keep on loading but never actually finish. Also another problem I found along the way is that Facebook with my iPad mini is not working well at all. It's so slow and can barely load anything. Try forgetting the wifi network. Touch the little blue arrow next to your wifi network and choose forget.
Reset your router. After you've reset etc, try connecting to it again with your iPhone.

Well, the proximity sensor, which is what tells the screen to go black when you put it up to your ear is in the area around the earpiece and front facing camera. However, that should not have anything to do with the touch on the screen. If it is working now without the case, I would say there is a reason the capacitive sensor is not working through the screen. Do you have a screen saver and a case on, or just the case? If both, it could be too thick, or if just a case, it could be something about the material the screen cover is made of. You can check into other cases if you like that are designed specifically for your model of phone, and are of a quality manufacturer.

I used the HDMI cable from my Macbook Pro to my Panasonic TV to watch DVD's but I had no sound, so I used the community suggestion in going to system preferences>sound etc. followed the instructions and got great sound in fact very loud to my TV so I turned down the volume from my TV remote control. After watching the DVD's I disconnected the HDMI from my TV and realized for some reason my TV volume now is not returning to it's full volume even though I've tried to turn it to it's maximum. Hey, it's a simple fix that should give most people what they want until there is full VZW support: the ability to use their card with the VZAM software. I didn't see anyone else offering that suggestion... If you don't want to use it, you don't have to.
At the very least, this does seem to prove the theory that this is an issue with the 32/64bit compatability that some have refuted.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.
