Bdc extend

hi gurus,
i want a programm for update plant field in a table using bdc programm if i give a flat file like contains record as material no.
              plant
              mbrsh
when i used it then it update the tables plant field material no is same
it is used by call transaction
it means that extend the plant field from one plant of a company to another plant of company
for example as i show that one plant in delhi and other is in pune
then delhi plant contains an ipod and i extend it to pune plant .
plz help as i say u will receive it.
plz send the programm code for it.

  • Need to extend vendor to a new Purchasing Org

    Hello All,
    I am getting a flat file with existing vendors in SAP System. I need to extend these vendor to the new specified Purchase Org. and also update the fields as per in the excel file (being uploaded).
    One way is to use BDC and perform the desired functionality.
    Second method is to use the BAPI BAPI_VENDOR_CREATE, which again uses CALL TRANSACTION.
    Is there any other method to extend vendor's (except the other 2 stated above).

    Hello,
    Can be done using IDoc, by populating the various segments for basic type CREMAS05 using the new purchasing org and then passing the details to function module IDOC_INBOUND_SINGLE.
    Pass the sender and receiving systems/ports both as the same.
    Other alternative approach is using BDC; extending vendor using XK01 (for new purchasing org) and then update the extended vendor using XK02.

  • Problem copying/extending materials (MM01) using BDC

    Hi,
    I am developing a program that will be used to copy/extend material from one plant to another plant by using BDC. When i did it manually in MM01, i selected 8 views (Purchasing, MRP1, MRP2, MRP3, MRP4, General Plant Data/Storage 1, General Plant Data/Storage 2, Accounting 1 and Accounting 2) and marked the "Create views selected" checkbox. Then, the system prompted me for the plant and storage location information (copy from & copy to). After that, the Purchasing view appears and i would just need to click the "SAVE" button and the new material was created.
    When i ran the BDC program (by selecting the "Call Transaction - Show all screens" option), i found that i had to run it four times to have the material created. Basically, i found that it went through four views which were purchasing, MRP, General Plant Data / Storage and Accouting view.
    I was wondering why it didn't create the selected views for me although i had recorded the "Mark the 'create views selected' option" in the BDC?

    You've the BAPI 'BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA' at your service. Easy to use & simple to maintain.
    Unless you give me specifics i am not convinced about the BDC approach.

  • Extend vendors to a new company code

    We are creating a new company code and I want  to know whether there is any standard transcation code to  mass create the vendors master from  the existing company code to the new company code without any BDC or LSMW.

    Hi,
    Go to transaction XK99. Here you can extend vendors from one company code to another with below steps:-
    1. In XK99 slect the LFB1 - Company code dat ,and press F8.( Do not select the fields like MM17).
    2. Their will be 2 tab. select the check for DO not change for existing data.
    3. In other tab (data to be created)...give the list of vendors or Balck and the TO comp code.
    4. Bottem of this tab you have to mention the FROM company code.
    5. Press F8 and save.
    With the same method you can extend vendors from one Pur org. to another pur org. by selecting LFM1 instead of LFB1.

  • Error while recording bdc for F-02...........

         I m doin BDC recording for tcode F-02, i m getting a pop-up screen stating as, Coding Block ...asking  Transaction type....
          This pop-up apperas only while recording,  if i extend G/L without recording i m not getting this pop-up and the G/? will extending directly...
          With this my flatfile getting mismatched and getting error while uploading....

  • Problem in extended Transport control while setting up transport request.

    I created a BDC program which will create a database table upon executing..
    The problem is the program worked well since yesterday, But today when i executed it , it is showing a information message when creating a new transport request .
    Extended transport control is not active:
    Cannot specify target client
    Since it s a recording ,and all the windows are processed using an OK CODE, this info box comes all of a sudden .I dont kno what went wrong , coz it was working fine the previous day.
    i could not create a new workbench request even after ignoring that info message.
    Pl suggest me what could be wrong.

    Check with your system administrators, if they have changed anything regarding the transport process.
    In addition, instead of using "fragile" recordings, try using function modules like DDIF_TABL_PUT.

  • Extending the existing functional locations to a new plant?

    Hi Sapiens,
    The following is my concern:
    Q1) I have a set of functional locations(roughly around 5000 records) assigned to say Plant A.
    I would like to extend these existing functional locations to Plant B. I am not permitted to do this using LSMW. I should execute this operation in one shot.
    How to accomplish this?
    Q2) After attaching all the functional locations to Plant B, i should replace the first 4 characters of the functional location structure with the Plant Code itself. Again not through an lsmw. How to accomplish this in one shot?
    Please let me know the procedure of doing it with some guidelines.

    1. You can extentd to the other plant with SCAT ,BDC etc
    2. But You can not replace the first four letters from the FL with the New plant code.Remember this is a master data

  • GUI tran to delete shopping cart via BDC

    I'm trying to find a GUI (not web) tran which can delete a shopping cart (set header status = I1040) and can be called via BDC:
    1. I can enter "/n" to get out of the Easy Access Menu and then run tran BBP_MON_SC in the GUI to delete a shopping cart.  However, is there a way to run the GUI tran BBP_MON_SC via BDC considering it has to be done out of the Easy Access Menu?
    2. Is there some other GUI tran that can delete a shopping cart without having to worry about getting out of the Easy Access Menu?
    We're running the EBP extended classic scenario with SRM 4.0 and SRM_SERVER 5.00.

  • Problem in BDC FOR uploading more than 1 insep. typ in QM view for MM01

    I had made a BDC in which i am trying to upload the data for the QM view which is being extended in it but the problem is when the program reaches the to QM view it is only able to upload only 1 inspection Type which is working fine but when there is more than 1 it gives error that its QM View has already maintained.  Please provide me guiddlines how to solve this problem .

    But is it not possible that while creating the insepction type for the first it should simultaneously take the value of 2nd inspection type .
    see,ina bdc of qp01 or ca01 we can insert the values at the screen but why can't we do d same in the bdc of mm01,
    I had made a bdc for tcode MM02 in which i am able to upload  the data but in that there is a problem that some of the materials have the Quality managmnt View at position no. 11 or 13 of the screen.

    Table control / step loop in BDC
    Steploop and table contol is inevitable in certain transactions. When we run BDC for such transactions, we will face the situation: how many visible lines of steploop/tablecontrol are on the screen?
    Although we can always find certain method to deal with it, such as function code 'NP', 'POPO', considering some extreme situation: there is only one line visible one the screen, our BDC program should display an error message. (See transaction 'ME21', we you resize your screen to let only one row visible, you can not enter mutiple lines on this screen even you use 'NP')
    we can determine the number of visible lines on Transaction Screen from our Calling BDC program.
    Demo ABAP code has two purposes:
    1. how to determine number of visible lines and how to calculte page number;
    (the 'calpage' routine has been modify to meet general purpose usage)
    2. using field symbol in BDC program, please pay special attention to the difference
    in Static ASSIGN and Dynamic ASSIGN.
    Step1: go to screen painter to display the screen 121, then we can count the fixed line on this screen, there is 7 lines above the steploop and 2 lines below the steploop, so there are total 9 fixed lines on this screen. This means except these 9 lines, all the other line is for step loop.
    Then have a look at steploop itselp, one entry of it will occupy two lines.
    (Be careful, for table control, the head and the bottom scroll bar will possess another two fixed lines, and there is a maximum number for table line)
    Now we have : FixedLine = 9
    LoopLine = 2(for table control, LoopLine is always equal to 1)
    Step2: go to transaction itself(ME21) to see how it roll page, in ME21, the first line of new page is always occupied by the last line of last page, so it begin with index '02', but in some other case, fisrt line is empty and ready for input.
    Now we have: FirstLine = 0
    or FirstLine = 1 ( in our case, FirstLine is 1 because the first line of new page is fulfilled)
    Step3: write a subroutine calcalculating number of pages
    (here, the name of actual parameter is the same as formal parameter)

    See you have to record the values through SHDB. The recording is send to ABAPER for BDC programme. This prog needs CSV, or tab delimited file with values which can be uploaded
